Beautiful views

Nice condo for 2 people. View from pool of bay is beautiful and from front balcony is the ocean across the street. Great communication from owners!

Cute and quiet cabin.

A group of Vanderhall owners were meeting in the area to enjoy some of the great roads in the area. A few of us rented cabins on this property and all of us were very pleased! It nice and quiet with no traffic in the area. The cabin I rented had a great view of the mountains. We plan on going back as soon as the leaves change color!

Bud, the host was an exceptional host as I have used VBRO for 10+ years and none of the other hosts ever checked in to see how my stay and accommodations were. The unit was as described and a great location and amenities.

Amazing view from the balcony!!!

This property has 3 amazing views! You can view the ocean from the private balcony, view the lagoon and pool from the walkway in front of the unit (like a balcony,) or walk a few feet from the unit and view the sunrise from the walkway! Has 2 elevators/shopping carts to transport your belongings. The boardwalk to get to the ocean made beach trips so easy and convenient! (My sister rented on the beach with private access and hers had way more people on the beach because she was close to the public parking access, and it was hard to walk the whole way in the sand). The room was super clean and had all the dishes/microwave/toaster needed. We really enjoyed our stay! Perfect for a couple 💕 pictures posted by owners are very accurate.

Condo is comfy and cozy with a beautiful view of the ocean. We had everything we needed and the hosts were great communicating with us. The property is well maintained and friendly atmosphere.

Perfect location!

Bud and Donna's condo was perfect for my daughter and me! Very comfortable, with everything we needed. The location made walking out to sit on the beach a breeze. It was far just enough away from the spring break crowds to feel peaceful and relaxing. Lovely!

Gulf Shore Getaway

Great location with ocean view to the front and scenic Little Lagoon at the back. The property is an older one, but very well maintained and has great amenities. Likewise, the condo was a little dated but was well maintained, clean and well stocked. The hosts were very generous with their time to answer questions and provide information.

Pleasant stay, pleasant experience

My husband and I decided to travel to Gulf Shores as a quick getaway. We chose to stay at this location based upon previous reviews. We were not disappointed! The place was clean. It was adequately stocked with cooking/dining supplies, and the location and view from the balcony was great. Bud did an awesome job staying in touch throughout the booking process and after arrival. We plan on returning someday and hope to be able to stay here again.

J&C anniversary

All went well. Property is basic but relative to cost a good deal and had all we needed. If they wanted to increase value easily larger TVs and new bedding would quickly accomplish that but still a comfortable stay relative to cost. Lots of privacy at this older location on west end of gulf shores is nice for what we like and still only 5 or 10 minutes to heart of gulf shores city.

A relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful time in Gulf shores. Donna and Bud’s condo was very clean, and had a mild fresh sent that greeted us when we entered. We loved the carts to carry in our groceries and luggage. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and relaxing and our favorite part was how near we were to the beach. You could even hear the waves when you sit on the balcony! The condo had a nice area to place our chairs and umbrella at the beach. A little word of caution, some homeowners don’t like your beach chairs too close to their property. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay to explore gulf shores! We are grateful we were able to stay in Donna and Buds beach themed condo!

Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club is a fantastic complex with friendly and courteous staff. The landscaping around the pool area is absolutely beautiful, not like other newer complexes with only bare concrete and no shade. This complex not only has a deeded beach access, but two pavilions with seating if you need to rest on the scenic walk to the beach. I could go go on and on, but in my humble opinion, no other complex compares to Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club!

We enjoy the beautiful views, walking on the beach, sitting on the piers, cooking and eating fresh sea food. There are two tennis, or pickle ball courts, boat launch into Little Lagoon and fish cleaning station if you happen to be a fisherman. The complex is large enough that guest can also have quiet time by themselves to enjoy the beautiful sun rises or sun sets without distractions. This complex was built in the mid 80's so I am sorry, but no arcades, exercise equipment or lazy rivers.
