Family Fun - Private Dock, Movie Room, and Calm Water!

Everything you need for a fun week at the lake!!! This is a fully stocked house is perfect for multiple families or couples wanting a relaxing and fun getaway in a quieter cove and neighborhood. This large, newer home features two full kitchens, two living areas, two dining areas, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two screened-in porches, one open air porch, a two-car garage with parking up to 5 vehicles, an office, a laundry room, outdoor gas grills on both levels, and a gentle slope to the private dock with a swim platform. There are flat screen TVs in both living rooms and three of the bedrooms – Dish is the satellite service for TV & movies and there is also internet/wi-fi service. If the weather keeps you inside there are plenty of games for the kids (or adults) and a ping pong table in the downstairs game room. Finish the night visiting with a glass of wine in front of the gas fireplace on the screened in back porch or enjoy a family movie in the movie room with 12 reclining seats.

The dock has fun activities for everyone including built in speakers, mini fridge to keep your drinks cold, fishing, swimming/floating (Lilly pad provided), kayaking (provided), or boating/jet skiing. You can rent or bring your own boat or PWC (there is a 10’boat slip and a 12’ boat slip left empty for renters and 1 side-mounted drive-on PWC lift is also left empty for renters). There is enough seating for everyone on the dock with 4 lounge chairs, a table w/ 6 more chairs, and some foldup chairs that can be brought out when extra seating is required.

Enjoy a meal out at the open air local popular pirate themed restaurant, Jolly Roger's, literally around the corner from the house by boat or car. They have summer cruises on a pirate ship that can be booked on-line ahead of time (https://www.grubngrog.com). Another themed restaurant on the water that can be reached by boat has a swim up bar with a pool for kids called Coconuts Caribbean Beach Bar & Grill (https://www.coconutsatthelake.com). In addition, gas for the boat and a great meal at Lake Burger restaurant are also close by water. There are some local bars, restaurants, and a Dollar General (with light groceries) an 8 min drive from the house. If you are interested in shopping, go-carts, miniature golf, a helicopter ride, or concrete ice cream you can head to the quaint Lake Ozark Strip on Bagnell Dam Blvd or Osage Beach (both about 25 miles away). And don't forget to check out some of the local caves around the lake if you are caught on a rainy day or just want to get out of the sun for a day.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a family-friendly/mature adult type of rental in a quiet residential neighborhood. If this a "party all night" or bachelor party type of trip, please do not try to book. We encourage everyone to relax and have a great time while also respecting the property and the neighbors. Thank you.

Amazing Home with Quiet Cove

Our family has been vacationing at the lake every summer since 2017. This is by far our favorite property…with great amenities! We utilized the game room, both kitchens and enjoyed unwinding in the evening watching a movie in the theater room. Very clean, well maintained and the quiet cove was perfect! Friends Getaway

We had 4 couples and 2 friends in our group. Plenty of space and we all enjoyed the game room and all watched a classic in the Movie Room! Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. the dock was great and a perfect location in the cove. The only thing we all agreed on is the path to the dock have lighting. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Vacation

Our family absolutely loved everything about staying at this property and would definitely stay again. The communication with the host was always prompt and helpful and went above and beyond to answer all our questions. The home is even more beautiful than in the pictures on VRBO. All the rooms are very spacious. The kitchens both up and down were well stocked with dishes and utensils and having two full size refrigerators in the home was so convenient. Bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels. We especially loved the screened in porches and spent our early mornings and late evenings on the porches enjoying the beautiful view and sound of the lake. The cove was very quiet and calm. The kids (ages 11 to 2) loved the dock, jumping on the lily pad, using the kayaks, and fishing. The only screen time we had was the use of the theatre room which again was very spacious and comfortable. By far our favorite property that we have stayed at the Lake. Highly recommend for families.

Great place on the lake

Great weekend stay! House had more than enough room for a weekend away with friends and family. Was very updated and very clean! Outdoor space was great, the screened in porches were our favorite area. Cove was calm enough to hang out in the water all day. Will definitely return!

Great location Great house

We loved this place especially for our 2 families. The space was great. The dock was amazing and the movie theater was an awesome bonus! The area was beautiful and a great place to use our paddle boards.

Wonderful Place!

My family and I have been going to the lake every year for labor day for the past 15 years and this is definitely one of our favorites! The home was beautiful and clean - the rooms were great and we loved the 2 kitchens! The dock was also wonderful because you are in a quiet cove so the water is great to kayak and swim in. This place was just so much fun for our family and we will consider staying here again! All communications with the owner were prompt and courteous.

Perfect House & Location!

As other reviewers have stated, the house is perfect from location to layout to included amenities! We felt like we were at home and already looking forward to coming back! Dock and cove are very calm for water activity and navigating boat!

Expectations Exceeded!

This beautiful home could not have been more perfect for our combined families of 11 with ages ranging from 7-70. The home was incredibly spacious and clean. Having two fully stocked kitchens with plenty of seating and room to store anything that we brought with us was a huge help. The downstairs amenities were a blessing to keep the kids from getting bored, especially on the one rainy day that we had. The game room was supplied with board games in addition to the ping pong table and the arcade game. The awesome movie room has comfy reclining seats, as well as quite a few DVD's to choose from for added movie options. The best part of our vacation was obviously the lake time. Our party enjoyed the kayaks and lily pad that were supplied, and we also brought our own paddle boards. There are noodles, as well as a couple of inflatables, electric pumps, a small selection of life jackets and some fishing supplies available. The dock is very spacious with plenty of seating and room for everyone to enjoy. Having the refrigerator on the dock that we stocked with drinks was very convenient. The location away from the main channel made for calmer water, which is exactly what we were looking for in a rental. The host of this gorgeous home was friendly, open with communication and extremely helpful with any questions that we had. We have already recommended this home to all of our family and friends, and we would absolutely rent this home again. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

20 year reunion

We decided to have our 20 year sorority pledge class reunion on the lake and this was the perfect. There were 10 women celebrating 20 years of friendship since we first met in college. This house has everything you could possibly need. We loved the space, the dock, and the location. We all decided we need to try to do this at this house again next summer!

EVERYTHING you could ask for !!! Super clean, beautiful home with something to keep everyone busy. The theater room was a huge attraction for all. Ping pong and Pac-Man Twister too. We spent many hours on the dock with the Lilly pad and kayaks. Plenty of room for the pontoon and jet ski we rented from near by . Kids caught fish off the dock and the mini fridge saved many trips back to the house . Plenty of seating on the large dock with built in speakers.This home is a 10+

yearly family lake trip

We have stayed at many houses at the Lake of the Ozarks and this is our favorite. Fully stocked kitchen, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of space and an unmatched outdoor living area and dock. Homeowner was great and had good communication.

Perfection!

We’ve been vacationing as an extended family for the past 4 years, and as my son-in-law said, this time we “hit it out of the ballpark”. This home is perfect! The decorating is gorgeous, the house layout is well planned, every inch of the place was spotless, and the communication from Michaelane was top-notch. We are a group of 13: grandparents with our 3 adult children, 2 spouses and their children ranging from age 3 to age 15 ½. The movie theater and upright arcade game were enjoyed by all. We loved sitting out on the screened in porch while playing board games or just enjoying each other’s company. The kitchen was more well stocked than any kitchen we’ve seen. The only thing we couldn’t find was an ice cream scoop, and if we had looked harder, we probably would have found that! I was a little worried when I found out the water at the end of the dock was 10-12 feet deep, but we brought life jackets for all the kids, and they loved jumping off the dock and playing on the lily pad. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, and the kids were catching small sunfish like crazy off the dock. We rented a pontoon boat (with a Sea Beast deck tube) for a couple days and a jet ski for one day, so it was very nice to have the boat slip so we could come and go easily. Bogue Bay was very peaceful, and we never left the bay when tubing, kayaking or jet skiing. We try to vacation in a different Midwest state each year, but if we were to repeat a location, this would be the one!

Granddaughter's Birthday

We celebrated our granddaughter's third birthday with family and close friends. The house was spacious and accommodating. There are so many extras both in the house and on the dock. It was perfect for our family. The owner was very prompt with a couple of questions. We will definitely return!

Hands-down, best place for a group vacation!

We have stayed at dozens of rental properties and this is easily the best for a group vacation. The house was absolute perfection, beautiful and open with lots of room for eating together, playing games and hanging out. The outdoor areas are just as amazing. We did venture to Bagnell Dam. We did not care for the atmosphere there, but with so much to do at the house we did not feel like we are missing out at all. We will definitely be back!
