We welcome you to Los Tamarindos 1 (LT1) – where you will have a luxurious vacation that will create memories that you will cherish for years to come.

LT1 is in beautiful Casa de Campo, one of the most exclusive resorts in the world - famous for its beautiful top ranked golf courses, tennis pavilion, white beaches, full-service marina, and Italian style Village (Altos de Chavon) that hosts concerts from major music stars at its Amphitheatre.

Our villa spans over 7,000 square feet and has a Spanish style open architecture with high ceilings. It has 4 bedrooms each with their own private bathroom. All rooms have newly installed air conditioning units and smart televisions. For those who need to be connected to the office, we have Wi-Fi that is capable of running video calls and gaming, simultaneously, across multiple devices.

The outside area contains a tropical garden surrounding a large pool deck of 2,500 sq. ft. featuring a swimming pool and 15-person heated jacuzzi. One end of the pool deck has a palapa/gazebo perfect for al fresco dining. The other end has a covered, open-air bar with Bluetooth speakers, a smart TV and sink – a perfect outdoor hangout space! Outdoor furniture is spread across the pool deck – allowing for time in the sun or reading a great book or sleeping in the shade!

Your vacation needs will be fulfilled while staying at LT1. We employ the highest quality staff and service providers who maintain the Villa at the highest of standards all year round. Our staff takes care of the cleaning, the laundry and all of your grocery and cooking needs. (It is highly recommended that you send your shopping list ahead of your trip so the Villa can be fully stocked upon your arrival.) Frequent attention is given to the garden, the pool and Jacuzzi. You can have prepared breakfast and lunch daily, on your own schedule, and for a small fee, you can have dinner cooked and served in the evening.

Our house manager works full time (9am to 5pm) and is available 24x7 during your stay. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

A little about us - we have been coming to Casa de Campo for over 20 years with our family and friends and have owned the villa since 2015. Casa de Campo has something to offer everyone. It’s difficult to describe to people who have not visited, but, when they experience their first visit, it blows away their expectations. We hope you will stay with us to experience all of the wonderful things that Casa de Campo and the Dominican Republic has to offer and look forward to you staying in our villa.

Great experience!

Fantastic experience and top notch service. Bit of road noise during the day but otherwise a great property with wonderful amenities. As a suggestion to the guests: have a lot of cash on you. Cards are rarely accepted. Using PayPal can be problematic.

Ultimate relaxation

Beautiful home. We loved not having to cook or clean or worry about a lot. Yes, the pool is just for the house. There's also a resort pool that my kids enjoyed. Be prepared to pay more than you're used to for groceries though. We come from a high cost of living area and don't see most places as "expensive", but the grocery prices in the resort area were much higher than we are used to, especially if you buy any American brands (we had to buy some American products due to food allergies).

Our family of nine including two little kids and elders had an absolutely amazing stay for our annual family vacation. The villa, food, housekeeper, hospitality, communication with everyone was so on point. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Holiday Vacation

This was the year for our family to all go away together on a holiday vacation. We found Los Tamarindos 1 in La Romana, Dominican Republic, on VRBO. We booked it for a week over Christmas. Everything worked smoothly - communication with the host was great; communication with the house manager was great; communication with the transportation individual recommended by the host was great. We arrived and absolutely loved the villa - it was beautiful and accommodated everything we needed from an infant to teens to adults. The household staff went above and way beyond on absolutely everything - they were great! The pool area with the hot tub and bar area and lounging chairs really made it unnecessary to ever leave the villa! The golf carts were a necessity, though, to allow us to get around exploring the resort. Our teen grandson now thinks we should do a trip like this every Christmas! We would not hesitate to go back here!

Amazing property - it was perfect!

Villa was beautiful and spacious! Wonderful outside pool area, like having our own resort. Mike - villa owner, and Yilnennis , our housekeeper both couldn’t have been nicer. She was the icing on the cake and took wonderful care of us! Made it very relaxing and special for us. Would definitely go back, even just to visit her 😉!

A moment in paradise

If you wondered if you should stay here, the answer is yes. You get the best of both worlds- the resort and your personal home. The home is as beautiful as the pictures. The pool area is fabulous. We opted to have dinner every day. It is fabulous. You get to decide what you want. Everyone is so kind to you. You have a wonderful lady who makes sure you have a great stay. She will order your food for you, make reservations, and suggestions on what to do. Again- 10 out 10.

One of my best vacations EVER

This was an amazing stay. The home is beautiful -- and the staff is amazing. Yillenis worked with me before we even arrived to pull everything together for our trip. Abe is the best chef ever and Yillenis makes perfect drinks. The grounds were impeccable and the grounds keeper was so personable. Access to the resort makes it extra special because you have options -- definitely try the swim up bar!!!! Definitely will return again. Thanks for sharing your home with me and my family!!

Over the Top Fantastic!

I have been to Casa de Campo many times, but this stay was by far the best! Yillenis and her staff at the Villa were so accommodating, friendly and were there for any of our needs. They were so friendly and professional. On arrival, we were not expecting lunch, but Yillenis surprised us with an amazing and delicious lunch after a long day of travel. Breakfast and lunch were served each day and each day was something different and delicious. We also had a Dominican Dinner prepared and WOW! Soooo good. The villa and pool are right in the middle of the resort. 2-minutes to beach and 5-7 minutes to marina, main hotel and Altos de Chevon. The pool area at the villa was like being in a big resort, but it was only us. Huge hot tub, beautiful tiki bar, pool was refreshing. There were 8 of us and we rented both 6-seater golf carts, which were convenient for traveling around the resort. Yillenis made all of our reservations and made our stay so very special. I can’t say better things about Los Tamarindos 1. We will be back again! Fantastic:)

Fantastic experience!

The property is beautiful!!! We loved the location of the house and all the accommodations. We enjoyed experiencing some of the traditional Dominican meals prepared for us as well as the fabulous frozen drinks and Mojitos by Yillennis and Ebie. They were so kind and did everything to make our vacation extra special. Yilennis was also very helpful in planning some daily excursions and dinner reservations for us. This was one of our best family vacations and we will only stay here on a return visit to the DR!!

We had an amazing time at this property. The staff were wonderful and took care of our every need. I cannot say enough about the house manager, she was the best. She also made the most amazing cocktails for the adults. We brought 4 teen boys, and the pool and outdoor area were perfect for them. I hope to come back and stay again.

Fantastic getaway in Casa de Campo

We just got back from a week at the property for Spring Break. Our group consisted of 2 families including 3 teens. The property was great. All adults got king size beds and it was a great set up for the kids. The screened in porch is a lovely room that is great for reading. The outdoor area could not be prettier and we spent a lot of time out there in the hot tub and the pool. It was spotless. The staff is amazing! We had amazing breakfasts, lunches and happy hours. Yilennis had the house well stocked upon our arrival and kept it that way the entire time we were there. She is also a fantastic bartender - I recommend the margaritas, strawberry daquiris and pina coladas to start! I also recommend the empanadas (and pastelitos) - so tasty and a great late night snack as well. The house was well maintained and they were great about doing laundry if you needed it. Yilennis was always around to answer questions, make reservations, and keep things organized. We paid to use the extra golf cart which was definitely worth it. The teens had their own cart and could go about CdC freely. We had no security concerns. There is absolutely no need for a car. We have been here twice and you can get everywhere by golf cart. The golf carts are zippy! The property is in a fantastic location about 5 minutes from the beach. It is in the middle of CdC which makes it easy to get to everything! Also, I recommend the transport service that Mike suggests. They were very responsive, prompt and there when we needed them. The biggest vehicle (black van) is really nice. They were also kind enough to stop at a store on our way to the house from the airport. All in all - we had a fantastic stay!

Relaxing vacation stay

Villa was clean and staff was wonderful. Made delicious meals and helped with reservations and activities. The host Mike was easy to communicate with and helped to arrange airport transportation. Resort activities were a golf cart ride away. All made for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation.
