This cottage was so cosy and clean. We loved the little welcome things like a big box of biscuits and 2 bottles of wine. Also there were some teabags, some milk in the fridge, lots of toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. it was so welcoming. We loved the garden with all the different places to sit and admire the nature of the ducks on the lochan, lots of different birds and we even saw some deer.It was lovely .

Beautiful location; mountains, forrests and wild life a plenty.Saw the deer and many different kinds of birds. So relaxing in a natural environment, food for the soul. The cottage itself is perfect for 4, with a double and twin bedroom. Everything you need is provided, towels, loo roll, tea towels, washing up liquid and dish cloth. Lovely welcome gifts of shortbread and wine, thank you.Killin is just a short drive away and has everything you need, along with the river falls at the bridge.

Beautiful setting, in woodlands beside a small lochan. Peaceful, but close to nearby Killin, which is a great highlands village with all necessary shops. Cottage was warm and welcoming and well equipped. Wood burning stove a really nice touch. Very well located for walks, climbing and general sightseeing.

After two weeks travelling across Scotland, Wester Lix Cottage was our final stop. It was a lovely way to round off our trip. When we arrived, the sun was shining and the water in the pond, with the ducks on it, was glistening. The cottage is modern and lovingly furnished. The colours of the décor complement each other beautifully. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack was brilliant. We hadn’t expected that at all. Thank you so much for everything.
