Only 3 min drive to popular Lakeview and Avondale eateries and Breweries. Only steps from Highlands Country club. Wonderful Balcony views of Sloss Furnace and Highland Golf Course. VRBO comes equipped with everything you would need for a romantic evening or a two week work trip. Less than 5 minutes from St. Vincents Hospital and UAB Hospital.


Wonderful quiet 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with a separation door that separates the Bedroom/Bathroom from the Kitchen living room. Master is furnished with a queen pillow top bed and private bathroom. Living room /Kitchen is furnished with TV, Pull-out Queen Sofa, kitchen utensils and coffee maker. Private balcony with a killer view!

Very good location, Beautiful View, Spacious and Quiet

Overall the stay was a 4 of 5. The pros were the location, Views, and Cleanliness of the property. I do have a few suggestions to make it a better stay and ensure I would rent the property again, as I visit Birmingham often. 1. Consider changing or repairing the blinds in the living room. They were difficult to open and could be seen thru even when closed. 2. Add a complete set of towels (matching) to the bathroom. With such a nice place, the towels were horrible. Also consider putting in slip proof rugs in the bathroom. I almost slipped and fell twice during my stay. 3.You have coffee in the kitchen which was good, but no sugar or creamer. A set of salt and pepper would add a nice touch since there is a fully equipped kitchen. Add dishwashing liquid. 4.Door Locks were a challenge to get the door to open, (more explicit instructions for travelers. Also, it was difficult to get the door to lock when exiting, so I ended up locking from inside and going out front door and walking around building to my car. 5. Operating the TV- Instructions needed to explain all available stations and use of Prime streaming services and how to access. I am a football fan and had much trouble setting up to watch via my phone/laptop. Should not have to do that, based on rental amount. 6. Nice closets, but no hangers. I left 6 to hang clothes.
