Young Cottage - One bedroom Cottage with large bathroom.

The Cottage is constructed with a condo-like feel. The Cottage has wider doorways and large bathroom to accommodate less mobile guests. The toilet offers wheelchair access with wider door and no under sink cabinet.
Your comfort is ensured with in-floor radiant heat, cosy electric fireplace and air conditioning (seasonal). A kitchen with a cook top, refrigerator, microwave and a sink is provided for your convenience. Silverware dishes pots and pans etc are provided. There is a twin pull down situated in the master bedroom for children.
We allow dogs in this Cottage with extra charge for additional cleaning. If you could inform us if bringing a dog pre-arrival.

During the winter months we recommend a four wheel drive to manage our driveway. We do get it plowed and sanded but it is on a hill.

We had a great stay. Nice, cozy, quiet cabin in the woods, but easily accessible to downtown Norway. Our dog loved it too.I'm not sure why it keeps prompting about skiing, but we were there in Nov and not for the skiing!

Young Cottage is exceptionally clean and stocked with everything you can need. We stayed 2 weeks while visiting family nearby. The host is attentive to any needs and provides detailed information on procedures and activities. Can definitely recommend Hillside Cottages for a short or long stay!

Wonderful cottage

Don’t hesitate to book this property. It’s in a great location and has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here. Norway is a nice town with a lake that has beautiful sunset views. We loved the town, especially Katherine’s bakery and cafe. The muffins are incredible.

A Perfect Cottage

Young Cottage is a beautifully appointed, fully stocked getaway in Maine. The area near the lake and town of Norway is lovely. The hosts have all information and details very well organized. We had a wonderful private stay and hop to return next August!

Nice time in Norway

Peaceful cottage stay

Already left a review on an alternative website, but really, this property was phenomenal and the experience was too. Couldn't have been happier with the place, it was well-organised, clean, and all around pleasant. The owners were polite and friendly but hands-off in the best possible way. 10/10

Easter at Young Cottage, Hillside Cottages, Norway, ME

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We rented it to visit our Mom for Easter. She is in an assisted living facility nearby. Young cottage made it possible for us to entertain her away from her everyday atmosphere. She is handicapped and the hosts made an effort to accommodate us. Five stars! Would love to stay here every time we visit Mom.

Could not have asked for more!

The cabin was modern, spacious, clean, secluded and well appointed. Centrally located to all the towns we visited. We enjoyed our stay and we were reluctant to leave and return home.

Revisiting Earlier Times

Nice location in rural western Maine. Good bathroom accommodation for handicapped person. Access to unit a little challenging due to unpaved parking and on a hillside. The television service experienced a lot of buffering. Scotch and scones appreciated.

Perfect getaway cottage

My stay was a fantastic experience...a minor issue with the gas fireplace the first nite we were there, but the issue was addressed and resolved first thing Sat morning.
