BEAUTIFUL NEW CUSTOM HOME ON PRIVATE 12 ACRES OF WOODS & MEADOWS

We built our dream home on a gorgeous 12 acre property. It is very comfortable with great views out large windows. We love watching the sunsets from front deck and hanging out on back patio watching the stars.
The home has all the conveniences you would expect in a custom built new home with large kitchen and 2 story great room. Vaulted ceiling with stone fireplace and hardwood flooring make it warm and comfortable. A large tiled shower in spacious master bath. All bedrooms are very large and laundry room has front load washer/dryer. Master bed is king size with walk in shower and closet. July can get hot in Door County and this home has new central air conditioning so you can sleep well and be rested the next day.
The location is super convenient for getting around and exploring all the towns in Door County yet peaceful and quite at the end of the day away from all the hustle and bustle. The large front windows overlook a natural meadow full of daisies and the native plants. The back yard looks into a large wooded forest. There is also a wonderful nature preserve to explore within walking distance called Heins Creek Preserve. It's walking trail goes across ancient sand dunes and a winding creek connecting Kangaroo Lake to Lake Michigan.
You will definitely enjoy your stay in the ultra comfortable home while having a great summer vacation in Door County. We only rent our home for 2 weeks while we are away, but have family in town to assist if there are any questions. We love to share our slice of the Door County dream while away.

There is one King bed and 2 queen size beds.

We are pet friendly however there is a pet fee so please click pet when making reservations.

Enjoyed the location and the space

The home is built in a beautiful location with lots of land for running / exploring, especially if you have a little one and a dog as we do. Our son and our dog loved playing ball and chasing bubbles in the yard. We also enjoyed my son practicing his bike riding in the long driveway. We did make use of the nearby Land Trust and Heins Creek Pathway. We love the lake side of Door County, and this house location situated us nicely between Bailey's Harbor and Jacksonport for many of the things we like to visit often, but was still only a short drive to get across or up the peninsula for other activities as well. We appreciate that they take pets, and we could bring our fur baby along with us. We would have appreciated the use of garage space for bike / toy storage (but I never did mention / ask that during our stay, so perhaps they could have accommodated). If I could have packed the beautiful fireplace and brought it home with me, I would have.

Great Home

We spent the weekend with a group of friends and it was the perfect amount of space for all. We had zero complaints! Big bathrooms, huge kitchen (filled with all the kitchen necessities) and comfortable beds. The house was very clean and felt very welcoming. The location felt very remote and only a short drive away from "Baileys Harbor" town and 20 mins from Egg Harbor (which we visited often). Chris was quick to respond to any questions. We didn’t want to leave!

My parents who live nearby also have several successful short term rentals and have taught me what customers expect from a host when they rent a home. Our family would love to share our home with you this summer. We only rent for 2 weeks of the season while we are away.
