When you stay in a Sugar Beach condo, you’ll have access to one of Maui’s best beaches for strolling, sunning, and swimming right outside your door. Choose from oceanfront views, ocean views, or garden views. The one and two-bedroom Sugar Beach Resort condos are all perfectly suited to your home-away-from-home Maui vacation. All Sugar Beach Resort Maui condos feature a private lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and all the resort amenities you’d expect from the best hotels.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect

This condo was perfect for our trip! We loved drinking our coffee on the lanai watching the whales. We would most definitely stay here again!

Needed relaxation

Our stay was great, no complaints about the property and the resort itself was so clean. The beach access was super nice and well the beach was great!! Close to really everything you could need or want to do.

We had a great stay condo had lots of supplies and appliances. Extra washcloths would have been nice in the bath.

Great Condo - Amenities and Views a advertised !

Great Condo, location and facility. Right on the beach and close to dining (15 minutes to restaurant centers). Pleasantly surprised by beach towels, coolers and beach chairs / umbrella. Would book again.

Sugar Beach is da place!

This is my second time to stay at SBR. I really enjoy it, you can BBQ, enjoy the pool and jacuzzi, grab a lite bite at the Sand Witch, bob in the ocean, or just hang out in your place enjoying the views.

Amazing Stay!

We stayed for 9 nights and had an amazing time in Maui! Location is right on the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai, from eating breakfast, watching the sunset and having our dinners out there. 2nd floor location was perfect and access to the unit was ideal. The unit was supplied with pretty much everything we needed. The only drawback that we had was there was only 1 beach chair included for our use, 1 more would have made our beach time much better.

Beautiful Ocean Views

Can’t beat the views of the ocean and nightly sunsets. Very good location, easy to check-in and check-out. The unit was fully stocked for all your needs, which is greatly appreciated. Only area for improvement would be the AC doesn’t reach the bedroom very well, which makes for a warmer than desired sleep. Although the unit is a bit out dated, it’s really nothing to worry about it.

Disappointed…

Loved the view and ocean front and the pool! Living room was very nice with rug. Bathroom and bedroom are in dire need of total cleaning and updating…condo needs painting, flooring, new larger counter in kitchen, bathroom overhaul and updating. Just trying to be honest. My daughter stayed in 111 and it was totally updated, painted, clean, with hard wood floors and larger kitchen counter.

Great view

We really liked this room. The location is perfect, with the pool just down one flight of stairs, and the view was fantastic. I spent every evening sitting out on the lanai watching the sunset. Mornings were good too. Being on the second floor, you can still hear the ocean waves crashing outside the room. It was soothing and made it really feel like you are on an island vacation! The furniture was perfect, very island like. The bed was comfortable, although slightly too warm in the bedroom. The sofa bed was acceptable, maybe best for two small people or one adult. The grounds were very well kept and everything was easy to access and navigate. The only issues I had were things that had to do with house keeping. I had to do a little extra cleaning when I first arrived. The glass table had tiny hand prints all over it and I did some sweeping in the dining room and the kitchen. Also the sofa bed was stripped down to the mattress pad, and I had to go hunting for bedding, which by then it was late and everyone was exhausted. So that was a bit irritating. Also, about 3 days in, we started to smell something musty. I found the source in the bedroom chest of drawers were someone had shoved wet towels in one of the drawers. You’d think house keeping would have caught that? But I washed the towels and left the drawers open for a few days to air out. All was fine then. With all that said, I’d definitely stay in this room again. The lanai facing the ocean made it all so worth it. We just got home, and I miss it already.

Try it, you'll like it

I researched the heck out of condos in the Kehei area (the best are on Maui in my opinion). We chose Sugar Beach resort because of the beach and the close proximity of the units to the ocean. We chose the "13" units because they are on the corner and have basically a 180 Degree view of the ocean and complex. The only negative was that the bedroom relies on cooling from AC in the front room and a ceiling fan. Not a big issue this time of year but not so sure about summer.

Location, Location, Location!!

You couldn’t ask for a better location. You are right on the beach. It is such a great area. It’s quiet and relaxing. I spent more time on the balcony enjoying the views than I did seeing the Maui sites. The condo was very clean. It has everything you need while on vacation to include beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, books, playing cards and much more. Plus you are “right by the pool and bbq”. They even give you 2 care packages. One has chips, snacks, coffee, sugar, coffee creamer etc and the second has dish detergent, dishwashing liquid, sponge and Tide pods to wash your clothes. All you need are groceries. They have EVERYTHING else!! We will most definitely stay here again!!

AMAZING!!! Loved it

First of all, this condo was spotless when we checked in, which was really important to me. It was also well appointed with pots, pans, utencils, and dinner/glassware. Cute little welcome bag also. The grounds and pool are immaculate, and the beach and ocean are RIGHT THERE!! My elderly mother loved sitting on the lanai watching us snorkel right outside. We had our own snorkel gear, but the condo had beach chairs and boogie boards, noodles, and coolers. Also, 4 nice big beach/pool towels. A local told us Dina's SandWitch deli is beloved and right next to the office. There is also an agency to book tours or whatever you want conveniently located next to the office on property also. There is also a bridal/tux shop. Although the condo is small, we found it very comfortable for my mother, 2 teens, and myself. I would absolutely stay here again

This place is awesome!!!

We love 💕 this unit! The view is perfect. The corner gives you a view of the pool as well as the ocean front without getting all the sand in the unit. It’s not up to high so you still can hear the beautiful sound of the waves and have an awesome view of the beach from the lanai. The furnishings are truly authentic and Hawaiian. It feels like paradise! The mirrors give you a view of the ocean from every viewpoint. The huge TVs are a bonus. The bed is so comfortable. The amenities are fantastic. Everything is so clean and neat and freshly finished. We will be sure to request this unit every time. We love it here. It is the best!

The condo was perfect for a couple. We enjoyed our time there! Be sure to bring extra toilet paper since there is no way to get more if you use up the 3 small rolls that are provided.

You get what you pay for.

Great location over looking the beach, beautiful well kept grounds and we love the North Kihei area but this unit is sorely in need of a remodel. The a/c does not reach the bedroom and the bathroom is well used and feels unclean. The daily rate for this unit is half of some others at SBR, so maybe it’s a value thing.

Great Ocean View

Can't beat the view! Walk out and be right on a beach. We liked the smaller beach not too crowded. The unit was clean and kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, beach towels and umbrellas are in unit which was nice not have to rent/buy them. Did feel the unit could use a repaint and upgrade of bedroom furniture. Sofa was actually comfortable. It was great location and had a store to arrange excursions and snorkel gear.

Truly the best of everything!

My husband and I stayed in Unit 213 for 10 days and thought it was pretty much, the best location to stay at in Kihei, because it's at the end of a long stretch of condos, so it's a lot less crowded. It's the best location being on the 2nd floor having an unobstructed view of Sugar Beach, a view of the swimming pool from the dining area window and it's just a few steps to the beach, the pool and the parking lot! Also, the location is convenient to the highways that reach the other parts of Maui. The unit could use an upgrade, but it is comfortable enough and pretty clean. We spent most of our time out on the lanai, because the view is incredible! The condo had everything you might need and although it can probably fit up to 4 guests, there is only one queen bed in the bedroom and a small hide-a-bed. It's really best for 2 people. We appreciated having a washer & dryer; a ceiling fan in the bedroom and A/C for the rest of the unit; and all of the extra touches, such as a small & large cooler; a couple of Tommy Bahama folding chairs; beach towels; plenty of hangers; a few starter laundry and dishwasher pods; and a couple of paper towel rolls. There is a blender, but it doesn't blend very well. It seems that the blades are pretty worn out. There are 2 TV's and not that we cared to watch them, but one night when my husband went to bed early, I found that neither TV worked, (they were plugged in, there was power and a few remote controls, but nothing seemed to make the TV's work). On the premises, there is a great swimming pool and hot tub with plenty of lounge chairs poolside as well as on the lawn; outdoor shower/rinse stations; 4 BBQ grills and picnic tables; and Dina's Sand Witch restaurant and bar. The grounds are beautifully maintained and while walking along Sugar Beach, this condo seemed to have the best & largest public areas. We will definitely return!
