Looking for a peaceful escape? Our comfortable, fully equipped 2-bedroom place is just minutes from Mt. Snow and West Dover. The Valley Trail is just across the street, perfect for biking to downtown West Dover and Wilmington. Our property is a short drive from stunning lakes, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, and streams. We welcome children and pets to join in on the fun! Please note that there is an additional $50 pet fee per pet.

This well appointed home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom has a twin bunk bed. Comfortably sleeping 4 people. The house offers a full kitchen with four-burner electric stove and oven, large fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Our outdoor space is private and wooded. It is the perfect Southern Vermont getaway.

We do our best to provide all the essentials for your stay to make your packing easier. We provide the following in the unit:

-Toilet paper/paper towels
-Hand soap/Dish soap and dishwasher cubes
-Basic condiments
-Pots plates glasses mugs
-Hair dryer (under bath sink)
-Bed linens, bath towels & lake towels
- Pack and play, high chair, selection of toys, games and books

Our health and safety commitments
* All surfaces are sanitized between each stay with a 2 day window between bookings
* We limit our cleaning crew to one person at a time.

The space has been inspected and approved by the Fire Marshall

Other things to note
Have a four-legged friend? They are totally welcome with an additional $50 pet fee per animal.

Please be aware, this is a two unit home. There may be guests in the upper unit. There are NO shared spaces, entrances, or amenities between the units. You'll have the entire lower level of living space all to yourself.

Great stay in a convenient location

Great house in a convenient location, close to hikes, family activities and nice towns. We spent a great weekend to see the foliage. The house is clean, with many amenities and easy communication with the host.

Relaxing Vacation

This property is wonderful. We had a very relaxing time here. There are nature and hiking opportunities nearby. The entire process was smooth.

Great Option for Longer Stays

This property was nearly perfect for a one-month stay as I awaited my new house in Bennington. Jess, the owner, was very responsive and flexible. The photos accurately reflect the property. Importantly, the kitchen is well equipped for meal prep. Jess was very accommodating and welcomed both my dog and cat. It's conveniently located to groceries, shops and restaurants. My dog and I enjoyed trying out all the trails in the area and walking the loop of A-frames. It's private, quiet and offers a outdoor patio with picnic table, chairs and grill. It met all my needs and I am happy I stayed there. Thanks Jess.

Nice, but…

The location of this home is great, and the unit itself is fine. If you want something fancy, this might not be the place, but it was just fine for us. We were looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable home. This met our requirements. It is the lower ground level of a 2 unit property. The owners may rent out the upper level, but may now be using it for themselves. Since we were assured that the upper unit would be unoccupied, we Booked the lower level. It lacks a deck or formal patio, but there is a picnic table, umbrella and grill. The owner allowed me to sit on the upper deck, which is partially covered. This turned out to be most helpful, due to plenty of rain during our stay. Our dog enjoyed the property, as well. Overall, a nice place, at a fair rental rate.

This is a beautiful little hideaway very near to Mount Stratton and Mount Snow as well as the charming town of Wilmington, where there are local shops and restaurants and a Shaw's. West Dover is right around the corner, with several restaurants and a couple of coffee shops. The property was very welcoming for my two cats, who settled right in and enjoyed themselves for the two weeks we were there. So many opportunities for hiking and other outdoor activities around! This is a great base camp for all your Vermont/ New Hampshire/ Massachusetts adventures!

A great location in the heart of southern Vermont

The property is nestled in the trees in a small, quiet neighborhood of cute A-Frame houses. The house had everything we needed and was everything we expected. The furniture, kitchen supplies, etc. were all in good shape.

Review from past guest: Jessica’s place was a perfect weekend getaway for our impromptu trip to VT to enjoy our anniversary and take advantage of the fall foliage. Jessica was helpful from the very beginning with sending through a lengthy list of recommendations based on what we were aiming to do and interested in. Her home is located in a neighborhood with a bunch of other A-frames and the apt is completely private, very clean and cozy. It was great to be able to take our dog as well! Her home is conveniently located very close to Mt Snow and Wilmington. We hope to visit again in the winter for ski season! We’d be lucky to stay here again!

The location of our house is ideal, just half a mile from Mt Snow for skiing and biking, a few mins drive to the restaurants and shops of West Dover, and the 14 miles of the Valley Trail begins just across the road. Easy to get to and yet tucked into the quiet woods backing up to the Green Mountain National Forest.
