Visiting Englewood? Then this private, budget-friendly Florida house may be the retreat you're looking for! This home away from home offers a prime location in a quiet neighborhood with a creek behind it and near Manasota Key beach and restaurants. This is also a great location for kayaking, boating, and fishing. You'll be conveniently close to Lemon Bay (five miles) and the Gulf of Mexico and the beaches are a short drive away. Make sure to visit Englewood Beach (four miles), Manasota Beach (11 miles), Blind Pass Beach (seven miles), Venice Beach (16.8 miles), or Caspersen Beach (13.5 miles). Oyster Creek Regional Park is within walking distance. Golfers can practice their swing at Venice East Golf Course, only 12 miles away.

Back at the house, you and your family will enjoy marvelous water and nature views and a private outdoor swimming pool. Its serene atmosphere, open layout, and comfortable ambience make it feel just like home. Upon entering, you'll first come across the living room. This space comes equipped with basic furniture, however, it's a good place to hang out with your family and share entertaining conversations or plan your next moves. Continue your tour and you'll find a Florida room with a dining table and a ceiling fan; from here, you'll have great pool and water views. Owners call this view 'tropical Wisconsin'. Looking across the creek one sees nothing but trees. You never know when a fish will jump or an egret will fly by.

As you continue, you'll encounter the kitchen, dining area, and a small family room. The kitchen features basic appliances and cookware to prepare delicious meals and snacks for the group, as well as conveniences like a new garbage disposal to make cleanup easier. The dining table seats guests (four new folding chairs are there if needed) and the family room has a ceiling fan, TV, a sofa, and an armchair. For other lounging options, try the screened lanai to feel the fresh air on your face. This convenient home also boasts a laundry room with a new washer/dryer combo, enough counter space, and a sink. Both bedrooms come equipped with ensuite bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower and the other with a tub/shower combo) and ceiling fans. The main bedroom also features a small, but convenient desk for remote work. The house includes a screened-in fiberglass pool and also sits on a creek for your boating and fishing needs.

There is boat access. This retreat is canal front with boat access to the bay.
There is a dock available! Guests are allowed to tie off their personal or recreational vessels under 20' in length to the dock with their own ropes. The boat lift is not available for guest use.

3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 32 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
