Oceanside Getaway: Renovated Home with Boat Slip, Pool & Beach - Gated community

Palm La Mar, a luxury vacation rental located in the exclusive oceanfront gated community of Anglers Reef in Islamorada, Florida, "The Sportfishing Capital of the World".

The two story Key West style house has 2 master bedrooms on the second floor, furnished with king beds, ensuite bathrooms, and private balconies. The first floor has a half bathroom, full kitchen, dining room, and living room with sleeper sofa.

The gated community of Anglers Reef offers a resort feel with detached villas, quaint streets, a 75 foot heated pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and two private beaches. The property is neighborly, safe, and immaculately landscaped for pleasant walks day and night. Anglers Reef is in close proximity to restaurants, Starbucks, entertainment, bars, and water activities, many within walking distance.

There is a private marina on a deep channel directly out to the Atlantic Ocean. Not all homes at Anglers Reef have a boat slip, ours does! The slip is available to rent for $350 per week (please notify us if you will be wanting the boat slip). The slip accommodates up to a 31 foot boat and has fresh water and electrical connections. There is a nearby public boat ramp at Founders Park to launch your boat. Two fish cleaning stations are available at either end of the marina. Manatees, fish, and lobster can be seen right from the dock. You can even drop a line and catch a fish!

You are less than 5 minutes from the locals' sandbar and 10 minutes from the world famous Islamorada Sand Bar. Take your boat out for ocean or bayside fishing, snorkel the crystal clear waters of Alligator Reef, grab a meal at a waterfront restaurant, and end the day with a sunset cruise!

Included in your stay are kayaks, beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, Weber gas grill, Big Green Egg grill, and patio table with chairs. Inside the house, there are stainless steel appliances, cookware, silverware, linens/towels, washer/dryer, wifi, 3 smart flat screen TVs, Xfinity cable TV, and Alexas.

There are 2 designated parking spaces, one of which is covered by a carport.

The property is licensed for a maximum occupancy of 4 adults plus 2 children. No Pets. No smoking.

Amazing

The vacation house is beautiful. Very clean and spacious. Has a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of bathroom supplies. The location was perfect for us. We really enjoying paddleboarding out to the sandbar. Only took us maybe 10 minutes. We spent a good amount of time at the pool too. It is also a gated community so it felt very safe. We discovered founders park right down the road and got free passes for the entire week of our stay. Great beach area and you can go beyond the ropes and snorkel along the rocks. The owners were very quick to respond to any of our questions. This place was one of our top 3 VRBO rentals.

Spring break success

Loved our week! First time to the keys and we would definitely stay here again. Comfy beds. Had fun grilling and making meals at home. Close to fun restaurants and Theater of the seas where we did a dolphin swim. Very clean and comfortable home and well maintained community. Saw a manatee swimming in the slip. Only suggestion would be for more shade at the pool. Beach chairs got crowded.

Great week in Islamorada!

Palm le Mar was absolutely wonderful! The host supplied so much…shampoo/conditiner, soap (hands and dish), dishwasher pods, laundry pods, toilet paper and paper towels! The house was perfect for my family and we enjoyed our week so much!The only thing that would be nice is if there were more pool chairs. We loved our week here!

Rang in the New Year at Palm La Mer!!

We loved everything about this property. The design and aesthetic of the whole property is so relaxing and comfortable. The mattresses were not that stiff (as read earlier in reviews) and the Highway 1 noise, could be avoided with the noise machine (not that bad).The pool and beach area are so cool! We hope to return to this neighborhood and Islamorada!!

Another beautiful stay

This is our second time staying at this property and enjoyed it just as much as the last time. Very nicely decorated and has all the amenities that you might need while on vacation. We love Anglers Reef in Islamorada. We definitely recommend this home for anyone looking to get away!

Great host and very clean house

Amazing spot for a vacation. Host communicated very good with us and everything was exactly how it was described. Highly recommend Palm la Mar for your next vacation spot. And the boat slip is right in the middle of the cut so very easy to get in and out. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay! The property was very clean And close to everything. The only thing is that the beach area is not really for swimming more for launching kayaks and wading.

Amazing home

We cannot say enough about how beautiful and well kept this house is. It felt like home away from home. The house is immaculate beautiful and very comfortable. My wife son and I stayed for full week. The house is very clean well kept. We brought our boat down rented the slip for the week it was great. The pool is nice and clean and right on the water. Great property and amenities . The check in process was so easy. Juan was very responsive and informative .Wish all VRBOs were like this. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home we can’t wait to come back.

Would rent again!

Our family had a lovely stay at Angler’s Reef. The property was clean, up to date, minimal/simplistic decor, awesome location, and good amenities. The house had amazing appliances, which made it easy to make meals while we were there. We needed to contact the property manger twice during our stay and each time our issue was resolved quickly. My only suggestion would be for the homeowners association to get more pool chairs - many days there were none available. Overall, we had a great stay, we would rent again, and we would highly recommend.
