Serenity Bay on Lake Hartwell is a lakefront getaway, with comfort and relaxation in mind. Located on a quiet, family friendly cove, with clear, calm, deep water and direct access to enjoy a peaceful day on the lake! We are conveniently located 20 minutes from beautiful Anderson, South Carolina where you will find trendy shopping and big chain restaurants. Clemson University fans, no worries! Also, only 20 minutes.

Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles, your boat, jet ski or camper!

The Space
The LANDING over the lake is perfect for relaxing, fishing or family fun in the bay with steps leading directly into the water! Grab a kayak or your water toys and enjoy! PLEASE NOTE ***we do not have a traditional dock, only a landing with direct water access.***
This home is ideal for a quiet and relaxing getaway and fun on the lake! Please respect our neighbors, no loud, unnecessary noises. Quiet hours are 10PM-7AM.

-Calm spaces (remember that novel you never have the time to start?......this is a great place to read it). Also great location to relax and enjoy all the sounds of nature.
-Two kayaks, water floats and life jackets provided for use.
-While we do provide Wifi we are in a rural area where traditional wifi is not available. You may experience delays or interruptions.
-Private outdoor spaces for peaceful lake exploring, fishing, bird watching, water activities, sipping wine and making s'mores around the firepit. **Firewood not included, but typically onsite.**
-Gas Grill on property.
-Corn Hole and various indoor games.
-NO PARTIES, NO DRUGS
-NO SMOKING of any kind indoors (includes vaping)
-Funiture is as shown!
-Home is a classic ranch, not a new build.

We had a wonderful stay in this home! Four best high school girlfriends went to celebrate our milestone birthdays and lifetime friendships. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend of reminiscing, laughter, good food and drink and beautiful scenery in this lovely, comfortable and well appointed home. We cooked in and also enjoyed one of the local restaurants in the area. It has everything any group would need - very clean, comfortable, well appointed kitchen and baths, easy check-in and out, and the owners were quick to reply with the couple of questions I had. Highly recommend for a great getaway!

Great house to stay in. Check in process was a breeze and owner was very easy to communicate with. The lake was very peaceful and great to just wade and float in. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

It’s a great lake house with great amenities and a fully stocked kitchen. We had an excellent time and would recommend anybody else wanting to have a nice relaxing stay at the lake to use it. The host were very responsive and very nice to work with.

Ball game weekend.

We came to see the Savannah Bananas play in Clemson & made a weekend out of it. The house was perfect & I loved the screened in porch for my coffee. Jessica text me to make sure we were good & was very sweet & perfect to work with. We will be back for a weekend of relaxation next time!

Relaxing getaway

The property was well described and the pictures do not do it justice! It was well equipped with everything we needed and could want. We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from Clemson University and it was close enough to commute daily but far enough away that it remained peaceful throughout our stay.

Clean and cozy lake fronted house

Tranquil Lake House

Exactly as we hoped…quiet, immaculate, and easy. Entry door was easiest ever, well stocked with all you need in the kitchen, plenty of towels and blankets, great showers, very comfortable beds and bedding. Check out was very simple. Great place, about 25 minutes to Clemson campus for football weekend. Highly recommend.

Another wonderful trip in the books!

We stayed at Serenity Bay in the fall of 2021 to attend a Clemson football game weekend with out of town family. Serenity Bay is an open floorplan house where we enjoyed time watching football, catching up with relatives, and you can't beat the beautiful views from the back of the house. The hosts are so gracious and offer water, plenty of spices, and dishware for cooking, etc. It is becoming a tradition for us to stay here and we look forward to many future Clemson football weekends staying at this wonderful property!

Beautiful home and location!

Wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed here while visiting our daughter in Clemson. The home was meticulous and beautiful. It had everything we needed. Location was about a 25 minute drive to campus. We definitely would have enjoyed an extra couple of days using the lake and outside activities. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

Townville stay

Very nice house and perfect size for 2 older couples. Towels are a bit thin and a one cup coffee maker are our only complaints. We had a wonderful time!

Relaxing property

House was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Loved all the water toys and life vests in the garage. We used the two kayaks. Two people are needed to move the kayaks from the garage to lake. Very quiet neighborhood and we used the fire pit for s’mores. Would definitely rent this property again.

Awesome House!

Our stay was amazing! The house was great and so clean! It was perfect for my family! The Lake was amazing! Highly recommend staying here! The host Jessica was awesome she made things so easy for us! It was a great place to stay for my daughter's graduation from Clemson! I would definitely stay there again when I come back for a game!

Sweet Porch For Hanging Out By the Lake

Serenity House is indeed a peaceful spot, especially on non-weekend days. It has a serene back yard, with seating outside with a peak of the lake and a cute little screened in porch, which is helpful as water means mosquitoes. It's well set up, has lots of dishes, glassware and plastic stuff for outdoor use. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch for hanging out with friends. Huge living room, great master bedroom with very comfy King bed and lots of space. The other bedrooms are quite small. The place is super clean, well appointed and welcoming! The hosts are super responsive and terrific!

Clemson Graduation

We stayed here for my son’s graduation from Clemson University. There were 6 of us (my husband, myself, our 2 adult daughters, and my husband’s parents). Entry access was very easy and Jessica texted me to check in with us. She responded to my texts promptly. I would highly recommend this property. And it’s not far from Clemson University so it’s perfect if your visiting a student or coming up for a game!

Lovely Lakeside Home*****

Our experience was great. The home is well maintained very clean and welcoming. The host had snacks on the table which were greatly appreciated after our long drive from Maryland. The outside is well kept, and the view of the Lake is spectacular, especially from the dock. The host responded quickly to our questions when we arrived and during our stay. We would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet and lovely home for a vacation. We had a wonderful time visiting our granddaughter who is attending Clemson and enjoyed having a beautiful and welcoming home to return to after each days activities.

Weekend near Clemson on the lake

We stayed at Serenity Bay for the ND-Clemson game. House is nicely decorated and well appointed right on Lake Hartwell. We enjoyed a bonfire but did not get a chance to get out on the water because of after game tailgating. It was about a 25 min drive to campus through beautiful fall foliage. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Comfortable Home on the Lake

This home is a nice size for 4-6 people. If you are visiting your Clemson student, be sure to include them in your “number of people” if there is even a chance they may want to stay over as it is a drive from campus at night. We appreciated the communication with the owners. They were quick to respond.

Tiger Town in Townville

Adult weekend for Clemson homecoming was extra special because of our stay at Serenity Bay. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was an easy drive to Clemson. Close enough to drive but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of a football weekend. We would definitely stay here again.
