Our stay at Casa Alley was relaxing and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the bars and party scenes but close enough for a short uber ride to downtown. The home was clean and well organized, beds were comfortable and the owner was responsive with any and all issues we reported. We attempted to run the hot tub but it would not start and we did have some challenges with the tv in the upstairs bedroom but we did not bring it to the attention of the owner during the duration of our stay, we have no doubt that the issues would have been addressed had we brought it up.

Amazing

We had a wonderful stay! We loved the views, the short walk to the beach and all of the wonderful balconies and outdoor spaces the home has. The beds were very comfortable and the home was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay! We loved having our own quiet private location!

Great House Close to the Beach

Cool quirky property with great views. My family and I enjoyed the hot tub, pool, grill, views from the deck, and short walk to the beach. Cabo Bello is a great neighborhood and Casa Alley is no exception.

Carolyn is a wonderful host! This was our 5th year in a row in Cabo and second with Carolyn. Love the view, proximity to the beach, and safe neighborhood!No better place to relax and whale watch. We will be back !

Beautiful, spacious and clean!

This place was so peaceful and clean! The pool was perfect temperature and the house was incredible well stocked with towels, cooking supplies etc. The beach nearby was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. Amazing snorkeling right off the shore.

The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this house. It was in a great location, equipped with everything that is needed. The pool and hot-tub were great fun. Communication with the property manager was easy and he was very helpful.

Great place steps to the beach.

Had a really wonderful time at this place! It’s the last house before the little beach walk. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Quiet and secure. Nice, clean home. Owner is easy to work with.

Wonderful family house

I spent 6 days with my family which included a 12 year old and 9 year. Everyone had a wonderful time at this property. It is large enough for each member to find a quiet space when needed. The location was amazing with breathtaking views of the ocean & coastline. The property was as described and the owner thought of all details for our comfort. The house was clean and tidy. The owner was very caring and responsive to questions. Thank you Carolyn for your warmth and thoughtfulness. We will definitely visit again.

Feliz Family Getaway

My family and I stayed at Casa Alley during our first time in Los Cabos Mexico. It was everything we had hoped for. It was well equipped for our family of four. It was beautiful, air conditioned, and close to town. The community was well secure and we felt very safe the whole time. It was a great experience and the host made us feel welcomed right away! Thanks for the personal touches of chilled water bottles and champagne! We would definitely stay at Casa Alley again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Peacefully Perfect

Cabo Bello is a beautiful, safe, and friendly place to stay. Casa Alley is situated so close to the beach and also just a small walk to the store. The beach seems relatively private and the house itself is wonderful. My spouse and a I, plus our two grown children, and their significant others stayed comfortably at the house. It had everything we needed to enjoy all the amenities at the house as well as beach supplies. Both the owner and manager were accessable with the small situations or questions we had during our stay. We hope to visit again!

Wonderful family home

Pictures don’t do this property justice! We have stayed at condos in Misiones just next door so we knew exactly where this house was located. We love the easy walk to the beach and the view is spectacular. We whale watched every morning and afternoon from the spacious upstairs covered patio which is also where we ate our meals. Security at Cabo Bello is great. The guards escorted our transportation down to the house to pick us up (Uber and private). We walked to the grocery store several times. It’s a bit hectic crossing the busy road on foot, but worth it. We would certainly stay here again. As the host notes, it is a family home and it certainly feels that way. Well stocked with everything one could need.

Lovely family home

Carolyn's house is a true home. That's what you are getting of you stay here. The views are lovely and the beach is very nice, though swimmable we didn't find it as easy as some of the other beaches nearby. Don't come expecting a resort experience. You are getting time in a well loved home. Note to parents with littles. I would not recommend this house for under 5. There are too many dangerous things which requires constant attention and places of the house you won't easily enjoy because of it.

Perfection

This home was absolutely amazing. It’s close location the the beach was perfect for those of us who wanted to swim daily in the beach. The roof top dinning was just perfect for our night time hang out and dinners. We watched whales daily so many whales just jumping was stunning view. Carolyn and mario were so amazing and were super helpful with anything we needed. We even walked into a birthday cake and flowers which was just a huge wonderful bonus. We will definitely be booking again. You can’t go wrong with this rental beds were also super comfy. The private pool and hot tub are also amazing pool was to cold for this girl but the hot tub was just right 😊. We were happy to be the first renters on this house. We can’t wait to come back Thank you Carolyn !!!!

Stay anywhere else!!!

When we walked in at check-in time, the house hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest. It took us 30-mins to raise anyone and it was the actual owner - the manager ignored us. Four hours later, we had access to the house. For us though, that meant we had to cancel our dinner party and get five minutes of bathroom access before leaving for an impromptu dinner out instead. We were very disappointed and frustrated to be “homeless” all day, change our plans, and go out to dinner without showers. The water was off most of another day, and then all of the next (our last day) and the manager wouldn’t respond to us. We were flushing with pots of pool water. We dealt with a facilities manager, and were accused of lying about having water to the house (like why?) and I sent a video to prove we couldn’t shower or flush or cook or anything. The facilities manager confirmed the pump was broken but it was awful and ruined the evening even more than not having water to the house. Two more days without showers. Also, the drains STINK. The bathrooms smell like a sewer. We had to shut the doors but it barely helped and we struggled with the smell. Back home, the manager agreed to credit us two days for the issues but nothing has appeared - I’m not a fool. Summary: for three of our five days, we couldn’t use the house because it wasn’t ready or didn’t have water, the manager wouldn’t respond to us, we were accused of lying, and spent two days flushing with a bucket.

2nd go around

This is our 2nd time staying in this home we absolutely love this home. It’s super convenient to just take that short walk down to the beach. The grocery store is just across the street. We love watching the whales right from the patio and taking naps on the loungers pool side. This is our go to place to stay in cabo. Carolyn and Mario are absolutely amazing. Mario comes every 2 days to clean the pool. We can’t wait until we are back in November to celebrate my 50th and we will be renting this home again.

Location, location, Location

This is a perfect property to live a 'true' beach life. Groceries within walking, covid test within walking, beach and snorkeling, also with a really short walk. Neighbors and the neighborhood are extremely welcoming. We felt completely at home!! Host is like family.

Great Stay, Needs Some Work

Overall we really enjoyed our time here, below is a list of Pros and Cons: Pros: +Location and neighborhood is fantastic. Close to town but not too close. In a secured gated neighborhood where all of the security guards were super helpful and very friendly! +The house has great amenities and plenty of bedrooms. +The pool was cleaned halfway through our visit which was nice +The views from the house are beautiful and we saw countless whales from upper dinning area every day Cons: -Exposed and uncapped wires above bathroom sink is a major concern. -frequent smell of raw sewage coming from one of the bathrooms would often waft throughout house (although this isn't uncommon in Mexico from our experience) -even though I contacted the property manager a week in advance, the pool heater was never turned on. The first two nights it was pretty chilly out and the pool was too cold to swim in. -be prepared for quite a bit of foot traffic and parking infront of the house as it's right at the public beach entrance. We had our car blocked in once, otherwise it wasn't a huge problem for us. -the fridge and freezer had expired food in it. The freezer had a bag of old fish that had really smelled everything up in there. Overall we are truly happy to have had this experience and would definitely reccomend it to others.

Thank you for that review! I am on this feedback now! Parking for our private (not public) beach is indeed in front of my home. However, the spot directly in front is for my use only. The guards will clear any cars that park there. The cars are from the interior of Cabo Bello. I will see if I can get a no parking sign for that area. I am sorry the pool heater was not operational for you. The problem is fixed and pool is now working... The spa was nice and hot, right? The plumbing issue, you are right ...it is a common problem in Mexico. One that I have been trying to solve, and will continue to address. I will have Mario cover the wires in the bathroom immediately... David, if you care to book again with me, I will give you a free day with a 6 night booking. Best Vacation ever!

OMG! This was the most awesome place we have stayed at in Mexico. Best views, 5 minute walk down to the beach. The chairs and umbrella and wagon was awesome for carry our stuff. Beautiful house, had everything you need, loved every room had a balcony to go outside. Beds were great. having the pool and hot tub was so nice. was great! Close to everything. Had the best weather you could ask for. Will go back there in the future.

Great Location

Perfect location and the property manager was very easy to deal with and help out when any issues arose.

Excellent experience

Always stayed in resort, this by far is better. Just make Sure you get security phone number, much easier to call for transportation to town. Everyone is a pleasure. The beach is gorgeous. Will definitely rent again
