Charmant Chalet, Hameau de Montagne, Proche Commerces et Station

The chalet is located at the edge of the hamlet of Planay-Dessus, in the town of Sainte Foy.
It is a 20-minute drive from the village of Sainte Foy (the road is beautiful and always cleared of snow in winter) and a 15-minute walk from Sainte Foy Station.
It sits on the edge of the beautiful national forest and overlooks the magnificent Tarentaise Valley.
The chalet is accessible by car in the summer.
In the winter, the Planay parking lot is 100m from the chalet.
A mountain gem, close to two villages that are lively in both summer and winter.

A beautiful chalet in a wonderful location

The chalet is in a beautiful hamlet, about 1km from the resort of Sainte-Foy. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and has almost everything you could wish for on the kitchen equipment list! Thomas was easy to contact and very helpful. The parking is not next to the chalet but the sledge made the transport of luggage up the steep hill much easier. The ski into the ski station and back to the chalet is off piste and challenging if you are not an experienced skier, however we all managed and we enjoyed a wonderful week here in Sainte-Foy.

Chalet savoyard

Not much to know, except that we are a family of 5. We love the mountain, skiing and the Tarentaise Valley.
We have a flat in Val d’Isère where we go on a regular basis.
We come to St Foy and Le Planay for off post skiing and in the summer.

The Tarentaise Valley is amazing in terms of skiing and you have access to Val d’Isère, Tignes, La Plagne and La Rosière in less than 30’. It is an incredible playground!
The chalet is situated in a beautiful tiny village and has an amazing view. The area is incredibly peaceful and quiet, but you can also put your skis on and ski down to St Foy Station in 10’.
St Foy is a very nice rather small ski resort, with amazing snow falls and very well known for off post skiing.

The right combination of nature, quiet, forest (the view is amazing!) … direct access to slopes, bars and restaurants in St Foy Station … and 4 amazing resorts 20-30’ driving.
The skiing options in the area are endless and off post skiing is probably one of the more diverse and amazing in the world. The best!
