LAKE MICHIGAN WATERFRONT HOME AT INSPIRATION POINT, ARCADIA, MI. Waterfront, beautiful sunsets & lake breezes nestled below Inspiration Point in the heart of Arcadia Dunes Nature Preserve. Soaring stone fireplace, open living room & kitchen with breathtaking views, spectacular sunsets & beach walks. Beautiful base to enjoy the area's many attractions. Craft breweries, distilleries, wineries, world-class golf, skiing, boating, gaming & dining abound nearby.

Perfect base for just getting away. Located right on the shore of Lake Michigan with beautiful views onto the water. Sleep to the sound of waves, wake to coffee on the deck overlooking one of the world's most beautiful panoramas, Lake Michigan, and relax at day's end over cocktails and dinner before brilliant sunsets with waves gently lapping at your feet. Close by as a base for hiking, biking, boating, swimming, golfing, birding, dune climbing, wine-tasting & the area's many attractions along the famed M22 corridor. Miles of walks along the lakeshore and on the many trails in the Acardia Dunes, Elberta Dunes & Arcadia Marsh Nature Preserves.

Spacious indoor/outdoor common areas, open living room & kitchen floorplan overlooking Lake Michigan with a 3-season room. The house has one king and one queen bedroom on the second floor. On the ground floor is queen bedroom. There is an xl twin and pull out full futon sofa on the second floor also. Full baths are on each floor. Easy access to Frankfort (10 mins.), Beulah (15 mins.), Sleeping Bear Dunes (30 mins.), Crystal Mountain (15 mins.), Manistee (30 mins.), Traverse City (55 mins.), Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course (5 mins.), etc. See our guidebook for this listing with local favorite places.

The house could not be cozier, more comfortable, or more beautiful. INCREDIBLY WELL STOCKED kitchen--pots and pans, utensils, tableware and dishes, coffeemaker, PLUS spices and herbs for cooking, excellent knives, all we needed for coffee. Beds comfortable with great mattresses and pillows.Open living room/kitchen area great for family spending time together, but rooms cozy enough for individuals to have alone time when wanted or needed. Mercedes and Paul responded IMMEDIATELY to any inquiries, were gracious and made us feel warmly welcomed. They CARE that your stay is good.

The VIEWS as soon as you step in are BREATHTAKING!We stayed for a week and had a wonderful family vacation here. The Lake/Beach is 25ish steps down the deck. We had the beach to ourselves. Bring your binoculars, kites, and paddleboards as we did and enjoy. Make sure to go to the nearby 1.5 miles or so away Baldy Dunes (park one vehicle in the parking area and leave another vehicle at the rental) and walk the Baldy trail to the dune then take the sand dune down to the beach and walk the beach front back to the rental. Then get in your 2nd vehicle and drive back to the baldy dune parking area to get your other vehicle. It's about a 3 mile hike. The beach walk back is one of the prettiest peaceful walks. We also visited the marsh preserve and nearby Frankfort. We prepared most all meals and ate at the rental. It was a clean, comfortable, beautiful stay. Mercedes was quick to respond to me with all communication. We had a minor issue and she sent a technician out immed to check out/remedy our concern. We hope to be back again. It's the perfect relaxing beach stay.

Quiet weekend

Enjoyed a quiet weekend away with my partner. He liked to close proximity to the bike trail, I like the comfortable couch to work on my crochet project. The views are stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The bedroom was lovely with the seating in the window (again, stunning views). A home!

Dream on the Shore of Lake Michigan

They home was perfect for a relaxing stay with family. Our hosts shared great information on options in area. Left games and all that is critical to relax and stayed in close touch with experience. So close to great golf you must play and perhaps one of the best Italian meals we have had in Michigan. Oh and most importantly the lake at your doorstep. Lovely & Grateful

Beautiful!

The home is beautiful and comfortable with amazing views of Lake Michigan. We watched sunsets over the water every night, enjoying the deck and stairs to sandy beach. Had a wonderful fire when it was chilly and opened windows to the breeze when it was warm. The owners responded immediately when we had questions and were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for a fabulous stay!

Lake Michigan Beauty

The house was wonderful! It had everything we needed for making meals each day. There was no need to go far as the views and from the house and deck are spectacular! There are no words to describe the sunsets or the many colors of blue we saw in the sky and water. Thank you to Mercedes and Pete for a very relaxing and memorable stay!

Wonderful getaway- beautiful views- fall asleep listening to lake michigan

Would highly recommend- beautiful views from every room and deck. Love listening to the waves of Lake Michigan. House super cute with very comfortable beds and so well stocked. I love the personal touch of adding a local bottle of wine and also that they have more than the basic stashes of things you want when you stay at a VRBO. Definitely want to come back again and hosts were so communicative and gave great recommendations.

Awesome house!!

We had a great time celebrating our Mom’s 80th birthday. House was very well furnished and great space to rest, relax, play games, enjoy the fireplace on cool winter weekend and just watch Lake Michigan and take in the view. Incredible sunsets. Highly recommend this home. Had everything we needed and more.

Christmas gift to parents/sister

Heaven on earth is how I would describe this property! I brought my family here for a Christmas gift. Everything was perfect including the sun coming out for all 4 days after weeks of gray skies. Loved the beds, especially the single upstairs in bay window. The fireplace was relaxing and the views were priceless. We will be back !!

A little piece of heaven

This property is everything the other reviews say it is and more. The owners were awesome and very responsive. You can't say enough about the view of the lake when you walk in and what no one says is how cozy this cottage is. It was perfect for the person whose agenda was to just gaze at the lake, enjoy a wonderful fire and just relax.

Amazing property with incredible views

The house was beautiful. Amazing views with beach access. The photos don’t do it justice! Great fireplace with plenty of wood for use. The house was clean and the owners were very responsive and helpful. Lots of attention to detail and we felt taken care of. Definitely will be renting again in the future. Perfect Vacation

A perfect vacation from start to finish. Have been coming up to Frankfort area for 20 years, but have never stayed in Arcadia. Glad we did! Property was fantastic, beach was fantastic, sunsets were fantastic, paddle boarding was fantastic, location was fantastic. Fell asleep to the sound of waves, then woke up to coffee in the morning in the reading nook that overlooks lake michigan. Enjoyed the large deck with family and friends, and walks along the beach. Mercedes and Peter were excellent hosts. Easy check-in and out, and property had everything we needed. Stayed in for dinner most nights with great kitchen and bbq, and couldn't beat the view at any restaurant. 15 minutes from downtown Frankfort and the drive there up M22 was almost better than the destination. Would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to unwind and relax with family and friends.

Golf week May 21-26, 2023

We stayed at the property for 5 days while were golfing at Arcadia Bluffs. The property is amazing, from the location, to the view of Lake Michigan. T It is better than the pictures and communication with the owner was great! I would stay here again if I was coming up to Arcadia Bluffs. Five stars all the way! Thank you Mercedes!

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

Listening to waves rolling up on the back porch of this cozy home is just what the doctor ordered. Charming town 10 mins away provided a perfect 3-day weekend break from work. And the golf… oh the golf just miles away is spectacular.
