A 1 room cabin
Included in the cabin is:
1 queen bed
Futon with full size bed
1 set of bunkbeds
Has a full bathroom
Has a kitchenette with microwave, electric skillet, dual coffee pot, toaster and small fridge.
Cabin #10 of tastefully decorated family cabins available will sleep up to 6 guests. Small deck with benches for sitting out on starry nights. Our Cedar River overlook is a short pleasant walk from the cabin. A rural area with many wildlife, but close to attractions, including but not limited to the Mississippi town of Muscatine, Iowa. Many activities at the camp, with acres of timber and trails that run along the Cedar River. Enjoy our brand new swimming pool! Plus horseshoes, basketball, sand volleyball, regular playground.
Cabins are heated and air conditioned for comfort. All cabins have fire pits, charcoal grills and picnic tables.
During summer months, enjoy access to our NEW swimming pool and bath house! Please bring your own beach towel.

Relaxing weekend

This is our third time staying at this property. The stay was very nice and relaxing. We had some hiccups at the beginning, but the quick response of Nikki made all the difference! We will definitely be staying again.

Good family camping spot

The cabins are cute, adequate for camping. The cabins are close together (little closer than we usually like) but the noise ceased at 10 pm (as the rules state) so we didn't loose any sleep. The kids loved the slip and slide that was set up!! We had a good time!

Don't waste your money on hotels. They just aren't worth it! You can have a cabin to yourself with everything you need. PLUS trails to walk,the clearest pool and bath house I've ever been in, located in the middle of whatever you want to do. And only about 1 hour away from the Quad Cities. I was able to shuttle my grandkids to ballgames and practices for the week, plus visit my other kids in the Quad Cities. Check in was exactly how the hosts described. And they lay it all out on how you need to leave the cabin at checkout.

Very pleasant first experience

This was the first time we had ever stayed in a cabin.. we found it to be clean, stocked and well kept upon arrival.. we loved every minute of our experience… we will most definitely be planning return trips I found the host to be very informative with quick response time.

Perfect secluded little cabin

This little cabin was the perfect getaway for a birthday. We were able to enjoy fresh cantaloupes aka Musca-melons. It was very enjoyable and secluded but close enough to go on a lot of hiking trails.

An excellent girls getaway

We rented this property for a girls weekend! We were road tripping from two locations and Iowa City happened to be in the middle - so we stumbled across this place online. I’m so glad we did! The property was spacious and had many amentities like volleyball, tether ball, trails, grills, etc. we were also close to Columbus Junction which had necessities like gas, store, and a few restaurants so we didn’t feel way out in the middle of nowhere. We went to Lake Macbride one day and it was perfect to be able to come back to our air conditioning and shower to relax after. The hosts were very friendly and attentive but didn’t crowd us. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a relaxing, fun weekend away!

Great getaway

We had a great time getting away from the city here as it is secluded but close enough to go places if we wanted. Everything was clean in the cabin and appreciated the hospitality of the family.

Nikki, Lee and their teenage daughter Emilee Salek are the hosts. The owners are Jim and Freda Sojka, third wind entrepreneurs with a longtime dream of buying this camp so close to our home. It has been a church camp since the 70s, we wanted to convert it to something families could enjoy. We also love a family business to run together.
We wanted to share our good fortune, through the sale of a successful business, (Bug Soother)this is an excellent way to be able to do that.

Beautiful area, within 10 minutes of our home. We fell in love with it several years ago, and finally were able to purchase the property.

この宿泊施設の特徴

With 53 acres of timber and trails along the Cedar River, our cabins are perfect for the outdoor explorer. Plus, with a brand new swimming pool, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, and a playground, there are plenty of activities for all ages. Take a hike, roast marshmallows around the fire pit and relax, or visit one of the many local attractions near us.

We also have 2 big buildings for events, and a large commercial kitchen to cater to the events if they want.

The Ranch is set up to make memories and to escape the daily grind.

By staying at the ranch, guests are also helping to support our non-profit, Cedar River Haven, which gives a hand up to women in crisis through employment, connection with other strong women, and a fresh start!
