Beautiful Mediterranean Villa, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, is a ten minute walk or an easy five blocks to downtown Santa Barbara and only one mile to the beach. "Casa Hidalgo" boasts 2,650 square feet, a spacious living room, dining room, and a chef's kitchen with new Bosch and Thermador appliances as well as an office that flows out to a private patio, perfect for an al fresco dinner. The upper floor has a luxurious master bedroom suite with a full balcony & territorial views of Santa Barbara's "Riviera" neighborhood and the Santa Ynez mountains. The master features a spa bathroom with dual shower heads a separate tub and a huge walk-in closet. A second bedroom & bathroom grace the lower level with French doors accessing a serene enclosed tree-shaded garden. A third bedroom acts as both a TV room with 52 inch screen, Apple TV and Sonos surround sound as well as a guest room with a queen sofa bed. An oversized 2 car garage with abundant storage has interior access to the dwelling. The downstairs also boasts an artists studio which doubles as a work out room and includes a Peloton spin bike. The light & bright interior showcases many custom details; raised ceilings, hand painted beams, decorative tile, hardwood floors, custom wrought iron light fixtures, handrails and details throughout. Sonos sound system in place throughout the home and Twin Eagle chef's barbecue available.

The perfect spot

This is our second time to stay at this home and are so happy we did! It is the best of both worlds: ideally located just a few blocks from downtown SB, tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood. The home is very comfortably furnished, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The owner is super easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout the stay. It is a 10 out of 10!

Fabulous townhome centrally located in SB

This townhome, tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-saq, is located in a lovely neighborhood in the heart of Santa Barbara. The entire place is super comfortable. Staying here feels like you are staying in your home away from home, and not in some cut-rate rental. Every room is beautifully, and thoughtfully furnished. Lagniappes: a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, four outdoor patio spaces overlooking that gorgeous SB scenery, a washer & dryer, and secured garage parking. The location is ideal. There are so many great downtown restaurants & bars and delightful neighborhood parks to explore… not to mention the new State Street Promenade. All are just an easy stroll or a minute’s drive away. The owner was very easy to communicate with during our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed while we were there. We would return here in a heartbeat!
