One Bedroom one bathroom garden level apartment with natural light, air-conditioning, new flooring and newly painted. Short walk to White Lake Yacht Club, White Lake Golf Club and public boat launch. Enjoy a short drive or a 1.5 mile walk to the channel. There is public beach access there as well as the White River Lighthouse Museum for your entertainment. The White Duck Market is just 1/2 mile away for quick grocery runs, lunch options and ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. Just past the White Duck is the Duck Lake State Park with public beach access and plenty of hiking trails to walk through (approx. 1.5 miles from the apartment). Downtown Whitehall and Montague features a great small town atmosphere with boutique shopping and restaurant opportunities. You will have plenty to keep you busy during your stay here.

Stairs to backyard need repair and lighting. Minimal furniture was very uncomfortable. No dining table or chairs. Needed to request towels and soap. Killed cockroachs..

Great location, close to White Lake public ramp, and Lake Michigan beach access. Beautiful view of Whitehall Lake from unit. Hosts was responsive.

Jr Gold Bowling week

This was the best & most relaxing week of What was a chaotic week of youth bowling. Able to come back & sit by the lake & let it all go. Thank you for the wonderful experience with my grandson.

Not quite as depicted

Property appeared to be access to inland lake beach, but in recent months, a small mansion has been built right off the backyard. Updated photos should have been made available so customers can see exactly what they’re getting place was very average, landscaping, steps, and other maintenance items were not exactly what I have experienced in the past. I’m afraid I would not recommend this property in the future.

Lovely location and hosts

The Rubacks knocked themselves out to make sure that we had a nice stay. This rental was nice and roomy, and had a pretty view of White Lake. It's located across from a golf course that looks like a tree-lined park, and the whole area is nice and well-maintained. I enjoyed watching the sunsets out of the front window, and I liked that restaurants were only 10 or so minutes away. It was useful to have the small kitchen so that we didn't have to eat meals out all of the time, though. I also liked the bed and the overall decor of the place. This is a newish rental, so there are of course a few growing pains. We would have liked a little more control of the thermostat, or perhaps a fan for days when you just want the air to move but not necessarily the AC. The listing is pretty accurate, but I would add that there are about fifteen steps down to the rental in the back of the owners' house. I wasn't shocked because everywhere in MI seems to require steps, but I'm having a hip replacement soon and would have liked to know in advance that steps are involved. All in all, it's a nice place to stay.

Up North

The apartment was great for what we needed-used it to sleep and make breakfast-a home base for us to leave for the day. The owners were great and friendly. They extended themselves by letting us know we could text at anytime and actually meant it. They gave us recommendations for where to go eat as well as where to get fire wood. It is hard to see down the stairs at night. When the owners were home, we did hear footsteps above us. I recommend adding to the kitchen and towels especialy if staying for longer than a couple of nights.

Great view of lake was what I loved the most.

Great stay. Needed help with luggage and stairs. Need picture of stairs in ads for property. Could use a fan in unit that can be moved from bedroom to living room to circulate the air. Outdoor furniture needs cleaning before guests arrive. Beautiful bedding but nowhere but the floor to put the plethora of pillows and covers. Perhaps a bench at end of bed?

Awesome view and great location

Teasley and Michael were great communicating with us. We got in late on our first night and they had the pull-out bed made for us which we really appreciated. They also gave us great suggestions of things to do and were very attentive to anything we needed. The apartment was as described and was great for our family stay with a beautiful view of White Lake. We hope to be able to come back in the future.

Family reunion

Room was clean. Towel bar fell off wall. There was not a porch. Stairs to unit were deteriorated, not lit at night so very dangerous. Room was musty and smelly. TV did not connect to Internet easily and when figured out could only view Prime. Front storm door would not latch, front door was marred.

We are so excited to now own a property here that we can rent to others as well. We know all too well how hard it is to find rentals in this little slice of heaven. We've had many years of experience owning and managing properties in Colorado. We'd love to have you as our guests. We are constantly updating and improving. We look forward to hosting you and your family for many years to come!

We jumped on the opportunity to purchase this property because of the amount of room it has as well as it's proximity to everything. This property has a ton of potential. We love that it comes with a play area for kids. We added a firepit with chairs for our guests as well.

We are located across the street from the golf club and just a short walk from the boat launch as well as the White Lake Yacht club. You can't find a better location.
