Quiet cabin in the woods with hiking trails, fishing ponds, paddle boats, canoes

This cabin has two bedrooms but can sleep 8 people. We also have a portable crib available. The living room has a fireplace and we provide the firewood. There is one bathroom with a shower tub combo. The kitchen is fully furnished and a great place to cook. The front porch overlooks a large 5 Acre pond. And a smaller one. You can hike, paddleboat, canoe, fish, ride your own ATVs, and we also offer excursions, for a small fee. Cadron Creek runs through the property and we have hidden waterfalls and caves to explore.

You can get a free excursion with a 3 night stay!

We had a great stay and would definitely give this place five stars. Our group was two friends and their two preteen sons, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.The views over the two ponds were beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. We hiked, kayaked, fished, played football. It’s a peaceful setting with plenty to explore, and the boys had a great time outdoors from sun up to sundown  Overall, a wonderful property and a place we’d happily visit again.

I stayed there during work in Clinton.I’m telling you that I stayed for two weeks and never turned on the tv. Beautiful sunset and Jill would come over to see if I needed anything, omg she is a god sent woman.She had taken myself on a side by side through out her property and it was amazing. She will always help you out if you need eggs or groceries. She’s there.Also she will give you total privacy.Great place for your family and there is plenty of fish in her ponds.Loved it.

This is an excellent place to stay! I wish we had more time here! Very nice scenery! Horses eat right at the back door very friendly, dog was curious but very friendly as well! Couldn't find the drive right away but Jill was quick to come help us! Would of been better for the summer time they have boats and ponds and fun amenities to use! If we return we will definitely stay here again! Thank you for an awesome place!

Dream Destination

House was well stocked and cozy, we had everything we needed The pond was wonderful! We spent all out time there ! Kids learned to kayak, swam, canoed and fishes ! We loved it all. The hostess is so nice, she treats you like family. We will definitely be back !

The description says it all! A wonderful place to disconnect and relax. Jill is an amazing host who offers as much or as little assistance or interaction as you want in your stay. She drove us all around the property, dropped us off on a creek adventure and picked us up a couple hours later-it was awesome. She is thoughtful and considerate of her guests and strives to make your vacation perfect. Plenty of fish in the lake and fun/easy to catch for our 5 year old. She was great, the place was great. My family loved it- would definitely go there again.

Best vacation

The owner did such a phenomenal job of making us feel at home and the property/cabin is beautiful!! This was just the trip our family of 6 needed. Our 4 year old son spent every second he could at the ponds fishing. Our 10 year old girls loved taking the canoe and paddle boat out. The trails, creek and waterfall on the property are breathtaking. Bring a side x side if you can! We will most definitely be new our go to place!

The perfect getaway with a perfect host

If you want to feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by water, trees and animals, this is the spot for you. There are four dogs that roam the property, and even though they are very big they are very friendly. We really enjoyed having access to kayaks and canoes, which make the spot even more unique and well worth the money spent. Be aware that you need to bring your own food. No delivery services and the closest option is about 15 to 20 minutes away. The host has no problem making you feel like family. She even went out of her way to supply us with a few missing grocery items we needed. Upon leaving, she presented us with homemade fudge. How amazing! During our stay, the microwave was not functioning but we had no use for it, just be aware if you plan on using it. There is a toaster oven though. The property is well decorated for whatever holiday it happens to be, the host is talented in making sure it’s a home away from home. We will return soon!

Beautiful

Everything was wonderful. Amazing view, quiet and was able to enjoy family fun. The cabin was clean and very cute. The owner was Amazing also. Will definitely book again.

This is a great place to relax. Everything is here. Fixed up so nice inside. Love the wood burning fireplace, the ponds out front with the ducks, I would definitely stay again!!

.Arrived a bit nervous but left intent to return...

We booked this property for a last minute family vacation. Knowing we would be sharing a single bathroom, cut off from cable/wifi, and several miles from anything resembling a store, we entered with some reservations regarding our choice. The property (and the hosts) turned out to be a great delight. Our children (15, 13, 11, and 9) spent the week paddling, swimming, playing games, playing with the hosts' dogs, etc. We were welcomed graciously as if we were old friends and found the place to be perfect for our need; we were able to reconnect with each other in the disconnected circumstance. Of interest, the kitchen lacks a dishwasher and a drying rack which made dish care a bit tedious. Also, the A/C system had trouble keeping up with the summer heat but would cool down over night. However, the cabin allows for unlimited use of a paddleboat, kayaks, canoes, an outdoor fireplace (wood included), and much more. In short, the property offers much more than it lacks. Though the property is still a work in progress, but we found the place to be a pleasant surprise and would welcome a return.

Amazing Host and Place to Stay!!

I could not say enough to recommend this rental! From the moment we arrived it was welcoming and made to feel like home. Everything was set up and ready for us, with those small touches that make all the difference. We could tell the host truly cared about making sure we had everything we needed, and when we met her during our stay it showed even more. A tour of the property to see the waterfall, cavern and creek was above and beyond what we expected. Not to mention the property is absolutely beautiful!! We hope to return and stay here again - highly recommended!!

Great off the grid peace of paradise

Relaxation with plenty to enjoy outdoors. We created wonderful memories at this amazing property. The sunrises,fishing, swimming, caves, waterfalls were a blast for the kids and myself. Thank you for having us!
