Amazing views and location

It started with great communication with Luis, the property manager and the entire experience was top-notch. The unit is on the 32nd floor with direct views of the ocean and other parts of Bocagrande and other parts of Cartagena. The rooftop pool has amazing panoramic views of the entire city. The unit itself is well appointed and comfortable. The location is in the middle of the Bocagrande action and literally within steps of the beach and ocean. When I travel to Cartagena again, which will be soon, I will absolutely be staying here again.

Overall the stay was okay, the beach is filled with merchants trying to sell you items even if you purchase a chair to sit for the day. Bed was VERY hard and noisy, tried to use the washing machine and it malfunctioned so we had to deal with very wet soapy clothes the last night of our stay. The apartment had two roaches in the shower. Views of the sunset were nice and Luis the person we communicated with would only answer through WhatsApp and not VRBO messages so I would recommend only communicating that way. Worked for us for two nights.

A sleek nest in the sky

This contemporary apartment feels like is a standout! Walk in an you are immediately struck with two stories of windows that look out over the sea. You feel very comfortable with every need met as if you are at home, but you have this added element of awe every morning and every night as the view changes focus from sea to the coastline of lights that reach the sky. Everything was clean and the design is simple and sleek with pops of vibrant color. I loved working with Louis and have to say how wonderfully I was treated. This is perfect for a couple, but you could have another couple of people … but, I would keep this a romantic getaway. I might be selfish. Ha!
