Embrace the tranquility of this Log Cabin Haven! This expansive 14-acre riverside sanctuary boasts a 2,200 square-foot log cabin enveloped in a scenic farm landscape with direct walk-in access to the pristine Brazos River. The home features four cozy bedrooms, two baths, dual living areas, and a spacious kitchen designed for large gatherings, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests in the Main House and opportunity to add on an additional 3 in the Small Cabin. Revel in ample space for camaraderie and relaxation.

Strategically situated only 18 minutes from the adventures of Possum Kingdom Lake, the Tournaments at Rocker B Ranch, and the quaint charm of Downtown Mineral Wells!

Great Place For Rocker B!

We stayed here with 2 other families for a Rocker B Tournament. It was perfect. The boys loved the fishing and had plenty of room to run around. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. It will definitely be a cherished baseball memory for many years to come. We’re already talking about coming back for a family vacation.

Beautiful Property

We stayed here for Rocker B and had plenty of room for the kids and 3 families. The property was beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and the kitchen was enormous! I loved that it had 2 refrigerators and so much space. We enjoyed the fire and sitting outside. There were several lights out inside and outside but that wasn't a huge issue. There wasn't cell service so we did have a hard time contacting anyone when the front gate wouldn't open. But once we drove down a little ways we were able to get in touch. I would recommend it to anyone going to Rocker B.

Peaceful getaway

We LOVED the location. Beautiful peaceful views and set up well for a large group. We were in town for a baseball tournament. It was only about 18-20 minutes to Rocker B and was a very nice reprieve each night from the chaos of the days on the fields. We really enjoyed the large grassy area by the river for practicing pop flies and spent a good amount of time in the early mornings and evenings listening to the birds with a river view. The host communicated very well and we had a very smooth check in and check out process. We bbq’d one night and everything worked great. Patios were so nice to hang out on and the home was clean and inviting. Our only wish was for a few more basics to be stocked eg wine glasses, coffee, ice, foil, cutting boards. But there was nothing we couldn’t manage without and we were able to door dash a few things that we needed but didn’t pack. Overall, we highly recommend this property and will definitely be back. Maybe even when we aren’t in town for baseball so that we can spend more time on the river. Thank you for hosting us at this beautiful river retreat!

Good stay

Good stay. A little trouble getting in as the code was for the front door and then we didn’t have phone service. Floors were obviously recently cleaned and had a bad mop job residue (walking barefoot was ). Great location and would be wonderful to stay and enjoy the river front more!

Fishing and Fellowship Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at “RY2” this year and it is the third annual visit for me.We always appreciate the property and Brazos river access.Each time we notice the second sink in the kitchen has a super smell so we typically cover it up with a plate. We also noticed that previously individuals must have put away wet cutting boards because several of them were moldy.Aside from those, we really enjoyed the outside fireplace and leave firewood for the next guests to enjoy it as well.The put in at Rochelle’s for kayaking is quite the trek so we are always looking for a closer put in point to fish or simply kayak and end at this residence.

Great river experience

Best part for us was the spot on the river. Shallow enough for our 3 year old and 6 year old to stand in the water and walk around in mud boots and fish!

Great short retreat

Our extended family had a great time. The home was very nice and as advertised. We used the home as a home base - I wish we had more time to enjoy the property.

Serene Getaway

This property was an excellent weekend stay. The location was perfect for the baseball tournaments at Rocker B. The river access made for a refreshing afternoon in the heat. We really enjoyed it and will book again.

Rocker B Baseball Tournament

It was perfect for us, Close to Mineral wells and close to Rocker B. Boys loved it and we enjoyed just having such a peaceful and clean place to rest overnights. I will recommend staying here for sure !!!

Outstanding property

This property is stunning. It was incredible to get away from the big city for a few days and enjoy time spent with friends in this beautiful home. The kitchen is an absolute dream when cooking for a large group. We spent most of our time gathered in the kitchen than anywhere else. The outdoor fireplace is perfect for roasting marshmallows and just enjoying listening to the sounds of nature. The boys also had a blast fishing down in the river. We were here for a baseball tournament but will definitely be back and hope to make this an annual tradition.

Relaxation Station

This was such a nice property. Its hard to find a house on the river and this one was perfect. It was so relaxing to be able to sit down by the river. I stayed there by myself, but this house could easily accommodate 20 people. I would stay here again for sure.

Great property!

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property that is well taken care of. Our kids loved the yard and river when it wasn’t raining. There were tons of beds. There is only a tv in the bunk room. The rest were in the closets. Assuming it was to optimize sleeping space to accommodate more people. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. I wish it was in every Vrbo we stay at! The kitchen was huge and beautiful, but it did lack some basic large bowls and utensils we assumed it would have. There are no spices or condiments available. We loved the double fridge and seating space in the dining room. It was perfect for meals, conversation and games. If we ever go back to the area (Rocker B), we’d stay there again!

River fun

Great place for large family

We really enjoyed our stay. Our favorite room to hang out in was the extra large kitchen area and, of course, the short walk and view of the river.

Perfect place for families

We absolutely loved the cabin by the river. We love to take our kids and grandkids to Broken bow and stay in cabins- but I can honestly say this cabin was everyone’s favorite !!!! Even though it was only 2 baths ( but they have another cabin you can rent with an additional bedroom and bath), the cabin is designed in away where there is plenty of room to spread out with a lot of beds in each room. We celebrated New Years and it was the perfect place. The kitchen is a beautiful spectacular ranch kitchen with all the cookware and extras we needed. And the kitchen is situated in such a way that the early riser can get up and drink coffee without waking anyone else We highly recommend this beautiful relaxing river cabin. Our grandkids are already asking us to come back next year. Thanks again.

Cozy, spacious and fab

We are a large group and we didn't need anything extra. Had enough pillows, sheets, towels. Loved the beds and rooms! River within walking distance and cooking appliances were in great conditions. The house included lots of things and one of them water lol!
