The location of the house was great and the walk to the beach was easy. Overall, the house was clean, but the couch, area rug, and the carpet on the stairs looked really dirty. The yard has not been maintained and there was trash it in. We will look for somewhere else to stay next year.

Mostly good

Loved that there were kid toys for my 3 year old. Place is a little outdated and cleaning before missed lots of things. But location was wonderful to food and beach. We had a wonderful week.

Palm trees

The palm trees property was wonderful for myself and my family. There were a few updates that could be done but overall was very pleased. I hadn’t been to the outer banks in 5 years and this visit was exactly what I expected. The trip was everything that I had been talking about. The expectation my family had was everything I had described to them. Now they can’t wait to return.

Great location

This home was very close to the beach. About a 5 minute walk through a private trail. The home was not the cleanest home we’ve rented. There was trash down by the pool and the bathrooms had hair and floors were dirty throughout. The internet went out day three of our stay and the washed stoped working as well. Someone immediately came out when we called to fix both. Overall, our stay was good but I’m not sure we would return to the home.

Nice house but needs work

Overall house is very nice. But not very clean at all. The carpet steps need swept and cleaned. There was only one vacuum but no hose to sweep the stairs. The 1st level has uneven flooring where the fooseball table is. My husband fractured his heel accidentally stepping off the platform to carry up luggage on the first day. So that really hindered our experience the rest of the week. The back door handle and latch needs replaced. Door can pop open if you push on it. Pool was really nice. The property around the house needs maintenance and pricker vines removed to allow an area for the dogs to go to the bathroom. The upstairs faucet barely worked until we had to replace the batteries in it. For the cost of this house, the cleaning service needs to be addressed. The rug in the living room needs replaced.

Property not maintained

The pictures and information posted on this property are deceptive. It lists there is a king bed, there is no king bed only queens. The property is very dirty. There are cobwebs and dust everywhere, the walls and ceilings, the fans, the blinds, etc. The coffee maker was so gross we had to go out every morning. The exterior of the property is a mess. The landscaping has clearly not been maintained in quite some time. In the pool area there was piles of dead leaves from the trees that were obviously not from a recent season. There was piles of junk (unusable pool tools, random and miscellaneous crap) all under the deck. The decks were dirty with bugs and webs, completely unusable. This house needs a lot of cleaning work. I did reach out mid week to the property management company with my concerns and never received any response. We left a day early because we didn’t want to be in the house any longer.
