Blue Daze is a gorgeous 3-bedroom, Harbour Island style house just steps away from stunning Pink Sands beach. The upstairs master suite opens up through french doors onto a furnished balcony with beautiful island views. The kitchen on the main floor has been updated with brand-new stainless-steel appliances and the dining area is a screened in patio, complete with wine fridge, and surrounded by palm trees. Have your morning coffee on the furnished front porch or relax on the private back porch surrounded by a yard with native trees complete with an outdoor shower and grill. The bottom floor has two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom, as well as a spare trundle daybed (two full size beds) in the downstairs living area, great for kids. We have a generator that will turn on automatically during the island’s power outages and starlink internet. Blue Daze is the perfect place for your serene island getaway. Book today!

Great location! Extremely kind and very communicative. Had everything we needed and the sun room was amazing for breakfasts. Located in a quiet area and only steps from the beach and quick golf cart ride to the main area.

Nice stay

Location is great, near the beach which is amazing. Property manager great. Listing is accurate but note that at every early morning 2am, there are roosters nearby that sound off every few minutes, making it sometimes difficult to sleep. Also we did find a few cockroaches but it’s a house in the jungle so not really unexpected.

Great for relaxing

We stayed at Blue Daze for a few nights. Beds so comfy and ac helped keep us comfortable. We had a chef come in and make our dinners (Chef Poka recommended by Kava). It was about as much as going out anyway. Speaking of Kava, she was amazing and so helpful! She kept us on island time by explaining the ways of island life and it helped us enjoy our time most! Beach is so close and while the location on the map isn’t accurate, the house was in a great location and super quick to get to town. Embrace the roosters, figuratively..don’t actually embrace them. It’ll hurt.

Winter getaway

The location and home were perfect for our five day winter escape. The house is spacious and the neighborhood is very quiet. The house was spotless when we arrived and cleaned daily. Kava was available to answer any questions.

Amazing!

Originally we thought the location was a lot farther than it actually was, it ended up being so close to everything and so easy to get every where. The property manager also owns a golf cart company so we had that waiting for us at the house when we got there. Everything about our stay

Friendly and relaxing house

This is our second time staying at the blue daze, it’s not the fanciest house on the island, but there is a warm and welcoming feel to it. It’s perfect for our family with kids agent eight through 13. The showers have great water, pressure and the beds and linens are extremely cozy! We think it’s a perfect place to Expwrience the island

A CV lovely well appointed house on Harbour Island

Blue Daze is a very nice house a short block away from the south end of the pink sand beach which is stunning. Appliances are all new stainless steel and large. Large new refrigerator /freezer, washing machine and dryer, microwave and gas stove. Our housekeeper, Kava, was superb, cleaning 3 days per week and resolving any questions or problems. Lots of housewares and if we needed something, Kava got it for us. We didn’t use the two attractive bedrooms downstairs'. The master bedroom upstairs is great with a private porch among the palm tree tops. Great location. Quiet but close to restaurants and food stores. Kava also arranged our golf cart rental with its bottomless gas tank. We never needed to refill it because they did. The house listing information is accurate. Highly recommended.

Loved Harbour Island

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the house. The location was good and the house was clean. There were 6 of us staying in the house and there was plenty of room. This being said, there were several issues which we brought to the house manager’s attention early in the trip that were never resolved. The grill had no gas tank, 3 doors to the outside of the house didn’t lock and the dishwasher was broken. In addition, one of the doors that did lock was broken which made it difficult to use the front porch. We were told to not use the door and walk around the house to use the deck which was not a satisfactory solution. The deck was the only outside usable space. The yard was a mess, the front gate was broken and the smoke detectors were all disabled and sitting on tables. This house has so much potential but just not well maintained.

Wonderful home in need of attention

Beautiful home steps from the best beach on the island. But what started as a dream vacation quickly turned into a lot of challenges. We lost power several times as we learned from the plumber that this south side of the island has a different, less reliable, power source from the main land. This wouldn’t have been an issue, but the generator was knocked offline and needed us to turn it back on. We had no water and no power for a day. Another time during the week, we personally needed to switch the gas tank over as the generator ran out of gas. We also ran out of water a second time until I switched over the water to city pressure, something the plumber had to show me how to do. In addition to the issues with power and water, the dishwasher didn’t work and the house had no working smoke detectors. The larger room in the basement also had cockroaches present. The property management responded to a couple texts, but was largely absent and never present during our stay. The host hasn’t responded to two emails regarding our stay. **I would not recommend this house without a more present and active property management team and host.

Family Vacation

Perfect home for a family beach getaway. 4 full size beds and 3 excellent bathrooms/showers. The closest beach is a 2 minute walk or a 20 second golf cart ride. Everything else on island is easily accessible within 2-3 minutes by cart. Tremendous air conditioning for every room, abundance of towels/linens, modern appliances, and excellent internet. No complaints of any kind.

Nicely appointed house with all the amenities

3 couples shared this house for a wedding long weekend on Harbour Island. Awesome location - 90 second walk to secluded Pink Sands beach. The house is very well-kept and had everything we needed - bath/beach towels, cooler, solid Wi-Fi, comfortable linens and soap. There’s nice sitting areas everywhere - front porch, roof deck, screened-in porch. Housekeeping was a little intrusive - seemed like they kept showing up when we were trying to mobilize and weird to have daily housekeeping in a house rental.

Wonderful vacation

My family of 5 adults stayed in Blue Haze April 1-6, 2022. The house was very comfortable, clean and about a block from beautiful pink sands beach. The layout was better than it appeared in the pictures. Marcella was a wonderful host. We had an issue the first day with the water which she quickly resolved and we also got locked out one day and she rushed over to assist. She was also very helpful with recommendations. The daily housekeeping was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again. Kathryn

Lovely authentic Bahamas home with great location near the beach

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property! First, the house is a charming, spacious, vintage Bahamian style cottage with all the updates and conveniences you could want. The decor is chic and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are all modern and very functional. The layout, with a separate main suite upstairs and a lower level with additional bedrooms and bath below was perfect for our family. There is a gorgeous private beach across the street, the main town is minutes away. The neighborhood is upscale, and the property has lovely, mature landscaping that affords total privacy for the house. All in all, I think the location is ideal. There are also several good restaurants and stores very close on the road between the house and the main town. The house manager, Marcella, owner Sarah and housekeeper, Kava were all responsive to our needs and very helpful for any issues. They assisted us in ordering groceries, renting golf carts and getting some shopping and restaurant recommendations. There were some interruptions in power and internet, as is common on the islands, but the generator worked well and these were mostly brief inconveniences that did not disrupt our overall enjoyment. I would definitely come back, as this stunning property is an ideal location for fun and relaxation!

Beautiful home

We were very happy wit the accommodations. There were only 3 of us but there was room for so many more. The front patio is great and has a lovely breeze. Just 2 blocks from the pink sand beach and that was lovely. You definitely need a golf cart to get around the island. We would love to come back another time. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice property but weak property management

We had several power outages and despite being told there was a generator, it lacked fuel so we were without wifi, air con and water for a whole day. In addition to lack of responsiveness on requests from property management, we would have let it slide. But the last day we asked if we could take care of the grocery bill and were told no. Cash only. Being out of cash, we had to stop an ATM which was fine. Initially Kava told us we could pay the Táxi driver for the ride and the groceries which they were friends. This was welcome since we were late departing. Then just before departure, Kava arrived yelling at us telling us that’s not how we do business here and that we shouldn’t have left cash with the driver despite her saying they were friends and that would be fine. She admonished that we should have returned it on the house to leave it there. Not only was she rude and yelling, but she refused change and pocketed an extra $30. Not happy.

Great spot on southern third of the island

Wonderful location on Harbor Island. Quiet neighborhood just a minute or two walk to the beach or a four minute golf cart ride to the downtown area. Very well maintained and the daily visit from the housekeeper was a nice touch to keep everything in order.

Beyond Beautiful Blue Daze!

My husband and I travel everywhere we can- sometimes we choose hotels as we stayed the previous visit to Harbour Island. Having been a rental host, I know rentals aren’t always as they appear on the site. Sarah and her property manager were the best! The photos were beautiful but the house far exceeded my expectations. Gorgeous decor and wonderful spaces. 3 floors for privacy and just meticulously remodeled. I can’t say enough and the local manager went above and beyond! Also so close to the beach! Loved it all!

Bahamian here, from Nassau but now married and moved to NYC. We love spending time in Eleuthera and Harbour Island is the perfect spot to soak up the beach in a fun, small town setting with excellent restaurants and friendly people.

Blue Daze is updated but still a relaxed, Bahamian style house. I love that it's located on the south side of the island that's very secluded and literally 2 minutes walk barefoot to the beach.. I don't know why VRBO says it's 4 minutes. Time it and let me know :) The porches and balconies are by far the highlight of the house, and there is no shortage of them.

Quiet, but only a 5 minute golf cart ride or bike ride into Dunmore Town. The view of the Atlantic and Pink Sands Beach as well as the tip of Eleuthera is one of my favorite things about the house.
