Playa Blanca #10 is a bright and spacious ocean view studio, located on Akumal's Half Moon Bay. It is just steps from the beach and a few minutes away from the beautiful Yalku Lagoon.

Ideal for singles, couples or a small family of 4, this well-appointed 450 sq. ft. upper floor studio space has airy vaulted ceilings and gets plenty of natural light. It has a small table and chairs, a king size bed, single day bed and trundle bed, a cozy living area, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a portable stove top. The space is designed in a Mexican style with tile floors and colorful Talavera tiles in the kitchenette and bathroom. On the sandy beach a few steps away, there are sun loungers and shady thatched palapas for your and your guest’s enjoyment.

Cleaning is included at check-in and checkout. For weekly stays, there is also a mid-week cleaning. For monthly rentals cleaning will be once a week.

The town of Akumal is located about halfway between Playa del Carmen and Tulum and just over an hour's drive from Cancun International Airport. When staying at Playa Blanca #10 you can enjoy all that Riviera Maya has to offer, you'll be just a short drive to either Tulum, Playa del Carmen, or one of the many cenotes and Maya Ruins in the area.

Located in Akumal, this cabin is near the beach. Xel-Há Park is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Half Moon Bay and Akumal Beach. Akumal Ecological Center and El Toh Ecopark are also worth visiting. Snorkeling and swimming offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours nearby.

Relaxation and adventure

A great location in Akumal though not as close to the beach as we had anticipated. Small for 2 adults and 2 teens but still) still a great stay!

An Excellent Getaway!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I were visiting Playa Blanca to celebrate a friends birthday. Our friends were staying in a complex next door, so this property was a perfect location for us. Besides being close to our group of friends, the condo met all of our needs for a relaxing place retreat too. At night, the area was quiet and the bed provided a comfortable night of sleep. During the day, there was a small grocery store nearby and two restaurants within a short walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Playa Blanca Condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay at this beautiful studio suite. We will return again and again as the unit is super quiet, has a lovely view of the ocean, has a fabulous housekeeper, the bed is super comfortable, and Akumal Direct is very accommodating to ensure we are taken care of.We rent bicycles to ride down the road to town for dinner, and also a great happy hour down the street. The snorkeling off the beach is incredible. The area is so quiet with condos so there is no loud music to disturb your sleep. This is not a nightlife location, snorkeling during the day, and a dinner out is what a vacation here entails :)
