We will be back!

We had a great time. Travel was easy with Uber. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood even though we were worried when we first arrived. Neighbors were friendly as was the property owner. We would happily stay here again.

Great Jazz Fest Location

Although there was nothing in the neighborhood, we had an easy 1.2 mile walk to and from Jazz Fest each day. Uber/Lyft was easy to French Quarter. Jordan was very responsive to our questions. Everything matched what was in the listing. The outdoor space was great!

It is not in the best area. But from what I seen it was better than some other neighbors. We felt safe.

Accuracy in Advertising is important

Jordan is great, his property is just fine. A "just fine" property should be shown with "just fine pictures" and a "just fine price". The vibiage and pictures were quite misleading. First, there was no jacuzzi, as advertised. Jordan is refunding me a LITTLE money for that. However, there were many other creature-comforts missing. 2 light fixtures were dangerously hanging and the upstairs toilet seat was not screwed down making it a circus to sit on. The mattresses in ALL rooms were very worn and uncomfortable. Many light bulbs were burnt out throughout and the towel racks were all taken down though the hardware was still on the walls. The dinette was pealing making it an obstacle to eat on and the flooring in the kitchen and hall looked as if there had been flood damage. The kitchen was NOT stocked with necessities for cooking. You would not have been able to cook a meal And, there were no soaps or toiletries in the house.The neighborhood is an eyesore.There is trash spilling out of the dumpsters and blowing across the unmaintained street. When we arrived the police were in OUR parking spot. There was a domestic issue at a house across the street. I asked the Officer if we were safe there. He pause and said, "You should be ok here, but don't walk anywhere."

What an awesome host and a great house. Yes, the neighborhood looks like what it is, but Jordan is an incredible host. He has a diamond in the rough here and I'm grateful for him.

Don’t go in the back yard

The place is fine, the neighborhood is sketchy, but the fact that nails and screws riddled the back yard is dangerous. One of my guests stepped on a screw that went all the way through her shoe.

Nice host, clean place.

Overall, I gave it a 4 due to lack of small maintenance items. Place was clean upon arrival. The bed we slept in was pretty saggy. Others in our party said their beds were fine. Seems to be just one bed. Host told us not to go out at night, so we took an uber to the grocery store when we got there instead of walking. We had no problems with the neighborhood. It's just a working class area. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. We didn't use the hot tub as it was hot outside. Air worked great! You have to take an Uber or Lyft to downtown as it is way too far to walk. The reason I booked here was because it was a lot cheaper than downtown, but you may want to factor in how many times you would Uber in to the city and how much it would cost. As for us, we Ubered in once a day and spent the whole day downtown and then Ubered back later in the day. It worked out for us. All in all, this was plenty of room and nice and clean for our stay.

Just ok, needs some TLC

Overall the unit was fine, it was clean and Large enough for our group. It’s in a dicey area, but the streets were empty and it was quiet. It’s a bit of a trip to anything, plan $15 Uber trip each way into French quarter Something to note, the owner needs to go through the place with a screwdriver. Loose bolts on hand railing, door knobs, towel bar, table and bathroom faucets. The mattresses are old. The smoke detectors were taken down, and the ceilings were too high for us to replace them, not sure if Jordan was aware before we checked in, we did message him. Jordan was responsive There could be more cooking supplies like a colander or cookie sheet or pizza sheet. But we made due. Not sure how many people cook at VRBO’s Anyway. Hot tub was a nice touch, we used it

Final Four Basecamp

Eight of us stayed here over the final four weekend and everything went very well. Location and Value were big selling points for our group and this place delivered on both counts. Although the neighborhood might be described as a bit sketchy, we had zero problems with coming or going to this home nor during the time we spent there. Enjoyed socializing in the backyard and a neighborhood watering hole called the First and Last Tavern. Host was very responsive to any and all inquiries that needed to be addressed. Would stay here again.

Great experience

home well very close to the best spots, burbon at, french quarter, etc. Was well put together, enough space for all of us. Next trip I will for sure being looking for this home again.

Convenient location, GREAT host!

This location is conveniently located to so many of the main attractions in NOLA. The host Jordan is so hospitable, accommodating and kind. He lives next door in Unit A and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed.

Girls trip

We came to New Orleans for a girls trip. There were 8 of us. The house fit us just fine. It was an accurate description and a clean property. It is close to things to do, but not close enough to walk. We did not run into any problems, however, it is not a neighborhood that we would have felt comfortable waking around at night in. Overall, it was a good stay.

Host is an awesome communicator!

Jordan (the owner of the home) is a great communicator and very friendly. He made us feel very welcome. The home is in an older area that was hit hard during the hurricanes.. it may initially look a little sketchy on the outside but we felt safe the entire time that we were there for 4 nights. We were visiting on a guys trip and never had any issues walking the streets during the day and we caught Lyfts & Ubers back and forth at night. The home is set up nicely and looks like the photos. It is located close to everything (French Quarter / Frenchmen Street / French Market / Bourbon Street / etc). Inside the home there is some obvious wear and it's probably time to make some touch ups (repaint the ceilings in the bedrooms where there are some water stains and fix some of the dings and dents in the drywall along with other little things like a crack in the upstairs bath sink and loose hand rail in the stairway, there are also loose door handles and a towel rack in the upstairs bath and some of the bed pillows were a little worn and could be replaced) but these are all very little cosmetic issues that can be easily fixed for not much money or time (probably all in less than one day). The projection screen tv and sound bar is an awesome feature as well as the large couch downstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms are very nicely done. We didn't cook while we were there but the kitchen is big and ready for making meals. There was a case of water ready for us which was a great touch and very much appreciated. There is a washer and dryer we didn't use them but they look nice and the house has a nice big fenced back yard. We didn't use the inflatable jacuzzi or bbq either but they look clean and ready to go. Again, Jordan is an awesome host that responds very quickly and made us feel welcome and overall I'd give this home a 3.9 out of 5 stars with the potential to be closer to a 5 if the little updates are made and maintained. The next time we visit NOLA we will certainly be looking at staying here again. Thank you Jordan! Keep up the great work!

Great Introduction to New Orleans

Property was a bit far from the airport but that was the only bad thing I can say. Close to Bourbon street. Very clean and the pics are accurate. Loved the fact there was a washer and dryer. The backyard is spacious. Whenever I had questions, concerns, or comments I was answeres in less than 5 mins. Property was very spacious as well.

Nice Getaway

Nice location close to everything. Host was very pleasant and helpful. Jacuzzi was nice and the soundbar made karaoke and partying fun! Definitely would use again plenty of space for us.
