Clean and comfortable.
Four miles south of Grayling with spacious parking, fenced backyard with screened patio, covered porch and small fenced patio in front to watch the sunsets.

Across the road is historic Wellington Farm Park and there is also nearby access to snowmobile and off-road trails, cross-country and downhill skiing, nearby lakes and rivers for seasonal fishing, canoeing, kayaking and other water sports. Other outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, and disc golf are also close by.

Major travel routes within a few miles make this a great central location for fun and exploration in Northern Michigan. I75, US127, and M72

Nice clean place and good location for Kirtland CC

Home was, well supplied and quiet. Chris was easy to communicate with. Coaches are a bit old and uncomfortable but other than thatit was an enjoyable stay

Cleanest house we've ever stayed at!

Beautiful property with all the amenities, large and spacious with plenty of room. We had such a nice, quiet weekend of relaxing that we didn't want to go home. Excellent communication with the owner and the home exceeded our expectations. Thank you Chris, we will certainly return in the near future.

Three generations hunting together

We had a great stay. My sons and I with my dad enjoying time in the woods greatly appreciated the comfy chairs and beds to come home and get recharged for another day. Great property and an even better host.

Great House!

We love bringing our boat to Higgins Lake and this rental has been a repeat for us! It’s the perfect space to stay and ample space. We usually stay with 4 adults and 4 kids total, and it’s perfect!

Family wedding on Higgins Lake

Wife and I brought my 85 year old mother up from Downstate to attend wedding of my brother at a cabin near Higgins Lake. The house was prefect for us, gave mom her own bedroom with walk in shower. House was pristine clean and new feeling, most everything we could have thought about was available and in a logical place. Pilllws and bedding were comfortable… we enjoyed our stay very much and will try to get the pjs e again next year for a longer visit.

2nd time around

This property works perfectly for us. It is 10 miles from other family. We can get away to our own private retreat. We used the screened in porch a lot this year. Last year the weather was a lot cooler. Will definitely try to use this anytime we are in the area.

Great home and clean!

We went with our family for a little getaway. The place was great and very clean. The host was very friendly and it was close to a lot of local attractions. If we come back we would definitely stay again!
