Chill space.. upstairs neighbor is chill too. Communication with the host was delayed. And Vrbo had the wrong address hopefully it’s fixed.

Mixed bag

Pros - good location, available parking, clean, nice bathroom, comfortable sheets Cons- everything going on upstairs is extremely audible at all times, the lock boxes are a pain in the butt first one is stuck, no soap/shampoo, 2 glasses one with a big chip

Chicago getaway

Let me start by saying if you’re a city lover, this place was great. If you’re experienced with city life at all, this place is for you. We were/are not, so it wasn’t exactly what we were looking for, but overall was good. We didn’t take into consideration, when we booked, where we wanted to be/go see and do as a priority. So that was our fault. We got to experience a lot though and that was great. Chicago has a ton to offer in that sense and this little apartment is a good base for that. There is a wonderful produce market just down the street and a couple of blocks away there is a great scene for bars and food lovers. Lyft and Uber had lots of transit options close by for anyone wanting to get downtown.

Very loud

While the place was lovely, between the people upstairs literally up all night making noise and the rattling AC vents in the bathroom, we were up all night long every night! We also didn’t have a working exhaust vent in the bathroom and the kitchen only had 2 wine glasses and 2 coffee mugs in the whole place! We had no other cups or glasses which was frustrating. We never heard from the host the entire time we were there, which is strangle because I’ve always had the host get in touch with me and check in. Had she done this I would have let her know about the kitchen needing to be better stocked and the noise from the upstairs people.

Chicago rental

The space was nice but was nervous about walking between buildings at night to access it. Parking was not good. Street parking filled up quickly so didnt have a good place to park. Expected the owner to provide parking passes but she did not. Having an iron would have been nice nice.
