Dog Friendly and Natures Haven, Whole House and Easy Drive to Madison or Mke!

Enjoy a lovely morning coffee on our beautiful deck overlooking the woods! We have all of the essentials ready for your stay! Dogs are welcome as we have a fenced in area off of the deck for your pups! Along with an outdoor fire table and fire pit, a little trail through our wooded lot, and a large deck! You may even get to see a few turkeys or deer near the trail. You will have the whole house and yard to yourself! Easy drive to Madison or Milwaukee!

Sleeps 4 wonderfully, there is room for up to 6 guests.

Comfortable and dog friendly

Really enjoyed our stay in this spacious property. It’s perfect for a couple, small family or two couples. Very quiet neighborhood. The bed was comfortable and everything we could have needed was in the kitchen and bathrooms. Though we didn’t take advantage, the exercise equipment would be a nice bonus for those inclined to use it. Our dog LOVED the fenced yard, all of the birds and chipmunks around and walking the little trail behind the house. We couldn’t get Netflix, etc to work with the house’s Roku so, If we stayed here again, we’ll bring a hook-up for our iPads and such. Also, restaurant options in the immediate town are limited (particularly for vegetarians) so best to bring groceries or plan to do a shop at the Piggly Wiggly in nearby Cambridge. Overall, we had a great stay - just what we needed for a short escape from the city.

Great stay

We were looking for a nearby vacation from Chicago and this was the perfect trip. The house was spacious and very family friendly. We especially enjoyed the large backyard. It was also located a close drive to Madison and allowed us to sightsee every day. Definitely would return again.

A Lovely Weekend!

Our stay at Shyla's was great! We had a group of friends getting together out of the city for the weekend, and couldn't have asked for a better spot. The home was clean, had plenty of space, and lots of extra activities like yard games (we loved the Spike Ball set!). Shyla was very clear in her communications and provided great instructions as well. Thanks so much!!

Perfect property; perfect stay!

Shyla and Jared provided us with wonderful and thoughtful accommodations for our brief stay. We had flown in from Buffalo, NY to surprise visit my daughter for her birthday. Their beautifully spacious ranch home was fully furnished with anything you may have needed to gather for a modest birthday dinner. It is a lovely quiet neighborhood. They left incredibly detailed notes about our stay, rules to follow, and most importantly, everything and anything under the sun to do/use for fun activities. They were exceptionally communicative in regards to everything from checking in to waving goodbye to the weekend. They have a remodeled basement with extra living space to enjoy entertainment on their Roku TV. Most of all, we loved the spacious deck area with fire table, where we shared the most laughs. They left detailed instructions for those of us beginners that have never lit a fire table, which we were very grateful for. Additionally, we had full opportunity to use their grill if we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about this rental, it is one for the books, and we have Jared and Shyla to thank!
