Country Home at the Crossroads

Nestled in Pleasant Valley with a 360 degree view of the Sierra Nevada foothills, this country guest home is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Enjoy all the amenities of home at the perfect stop on your way to/from Springville Ranch Venue, Sequoia National Park, River Island Golf and Country Club, or other destinations. Sip your morning coffee or barbeque your favorite dinner on either of our two patios, both with gorgeous views in every direction. Large bedrooms, an inviting living room, a full dining table, and a bonus area with a queen bed, roll away single bed, and convertible sofa chair single bed adjacent to the dining area mean that everyone has plenty of space to make themselves at home.

We are located 5 min from the quaint Springville downtown where you can grab home-made ice cream at Wild Oak Coffee House or browse the custom jewelry and local photography at The Sierra Gallery and Boutique. Other nearby destinations include Springville Ranch (5 min) Lake Success (5 min), various locations in Sequoia National Park (40-90 min), Camp Nelson (40 min), Balch Park (60 min), Ponderosa (60 min), and Trail of 100 Giants (90 min).

The kitchen is very equipped with everything you need. The laundry room is placed perfect in the home where it's accessible. This home provides plenty of space. The bonus was the views of the mountains and nature.

Lovely guesthouse on nice property

This was a lovely place to stay at the end of a long day of work. The owner had the fans and AC on upon arrival so the house was a comfortable temperature, and left the outdoor lights on for us in case we checked in at dark. There's a full kitchen with just about everything you can think of. The house was cozy and super clean. Would definitely stay here again if work brings me back to the area.

Great for Family Retreat

Property is very clean, welcoming and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking and storage needs. Very quiet and peaceful location. Our grandson loved exploring around the outdoors and even danced in the rain for his first time! This is our 2nd time staying at this property and special memories are always made!!

Great spot at the gateway into Sequioa

Nice ranch feeling property with a cozy home. Bedrooms are good, kitchen is adequate. The access into the national park is really great. Good stay!

Great private oasis amongst the hills

This place was perfect for my partner and I but there is plenty of room for a 6 adults comfortably. All the amenities that you would need. Beautiful private patio to relax on under a wysteria covered pergola. Gas grill and laundry available. Host was very quick with responses to any questions or needs

Spectacular Getaway

My family and I booked a two night stay at the Country Home. The guesthouse was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed wonderful views of the surrounding countryside with our morning coffee. The rental is close to Seqouia National Park, so we spent a day exploring the park and seeing the Giant Seqouias. The property owner, Christen, was attentive and available for any questions or concerns. I would definitely book another stay here.

Charming, Peaceful, country accommodations.

Well thought out accommodations. The home is well stocked and plenty of room for our family of 8. We all slept comfortably and found the visit to be a blessing to us all. We wish we could have spent more time together to enjoy the place. After difficulties with airports and vehicle rentals our stay here was the only part that ran incredibly smoothly. Best part of our trip to CA. Thank you again to a wonderful Beautiful views and helpful info at the home.

Just what we needed last minute!!!

This was a last minute booking for my husband, daughter and I. It was spacious and had more than what we needed! Christen went above and beyond in providing the necessities and entertainment. We enjoyed the patio and watching the lizards, star gazing and just relaxing! Plenty of space to spread out and check in was super easy.

Great place to stay

I found this pet-friendly place a lovely property to stay at for our trip to visit Sequoia National Forest. Honestly it was a little farther than I thought it would be from the Trail of 100 Giants but the comfort (and air conditioning!) made it a great choice. My favorite feature was the vine covered arbor - I only wish it wasn’t so hot! The host was very responsive and the whole family appreciated all the comforts of home. Thank you!

Great location, immaculate accomodations, great host!

Christen's place is perfect for a getaway to Sequoia and Kings National Park. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable with all you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook any and all meals, the bedrooms were inviting and the living room and dining room were equally pleasant. Even our dog enjoyed walks around the grounds and the surrounding neighborhood. We stayed at Christen's place for 4 days, visited the parks for two days, spent a day exploring locally and a day enjoying the home away from home. We had a last minute request and Christen was able to accommodate us which was a real life saver for us. She is a great host! We have already discussed returning!

Giving my son the same memories I had as a kid.

I grew up in Springville, and consider it my hometown. This year, I wanted to take my son to the annual rodeo along with my husband and in-laws to show them just how beautiful Springville is. We decided to book this guest house, and let me tell you, it was absolutely 5-stars. The owners were very sweet and made sure our stay was fantastic. It’s a two bedroom, but there is another queen in the extended room, which allowed everyone in our party a place to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and silverware. It had a large fridge and they also had a fully stocked Keurig. So you can start the day the Cowboy way! This was a great place, comfortable and quiet. Again 5 stars x 10! We will definitely be back.

Perfect getaway to Springville, CA

This was our first time using VRBO. We were spoiled! The house has everything we needed. It is fully furnished and the full sized kitchen is stocked with all necessary utensils and cooking pots and pans. The dishwasher is a great addition. The washer and dryer make laundry a snap. The master bath shower is big enough for two people. The coffee station with Keurig machine was loved by my family. Two queen beds, one king bed, and a large couch make sleeping easy. All the switches are labeled for easy use. The house and surroundings are adorable. Cell service is spotty in rural Springville, but the wifi is great at the house. Turn on wifi-calling when you get there.

Epic Country Cottage

We found this lovely cottage in the country to be absolutely enchanting! Three couples traveling from 3 different states to celebrate the destination wedding of our niece in a quaint little sleepy community of central California. What a lovely experience. Remarkably hospitable! Cozy comforts both inside or outside. We were all able to enjoy this beautifully embellished guesthouse nestled in a picturesque location with stunning views in every direction! Nicely Done! Warm Thoughts with sincere thanksgiving to our wonderful Host!!!
