Our family invites yours to enjoy our oasis from the hustle and bustle of the urban life. Surround yourself with trees and the beautiful Michigan sky which in the night explodes with myriads of constellations. Wake up to the song of birds and keep your eyes open for wildlife which thrives on our 15 acres of property.
When the sun goes down after a day at the beach, ski slope, or farm. The land turns magical with the mystery of the night tamed by flickering lights of the campfire, where laughter and stories makes memories for a lifetime.
Conveniently located 2.30 hrs from Chicago, 2 hrs from Detroit. Our house sits on 15 acres of land in small village of Pullman.
Open concept house where dining, livingroom and kitchen keeps the family connected and entertained by our 70 inch smart TV. Sleeps 6 comfortably with the possibility of 2 more guests, provided queen air mattress. Two full baths as well as a washer and dryer on premises. Stepping out through the patio door you will be greeted by our generous deck stocked with sun umbrella, 6 sitting patio set, and four burner grill.
A small kitchenette conveniently located closer to the campfire to grab a drink out from the fridge and prepare meals for outdoor cooking is available at the small utility building next to the pile of cut wood.

We had a wonderful time at the home, enjoying the tranquility of nature. The host was very accommodating to our requests. We were impressed with the level of cleanliness and appreciate that fragrance free laundry detergent was provided. The extra fridge is a major bonus. We would def recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well maintained home in a nature setting.

Great spot

Great spot to hang your hat sitting in between all of the things we like to do on the unsalted coast (South Haven, Douglas, Gingerman, etc). Everything you need for a comfy stay has been thought through and provided.

Wonderful secluded property!

The propwrty was just as described. It was nice and private, very clean, owners were pleasant! I would absolutely stay here again. My friends and I had a girls wine weekens and it was so much fun! The firepit area is a nice bonus!

South Haven Trip With Friends

The property was very clean and well kept. Dan was great to work with and very responsive. He even helped with walking us through finding the property when having difficulties with the navigation tool we were using. We would definitely stay with them again!

Relaxing bachelorette weekend

Absolutely beautiful property for a weekend trip or longer. We would highly recommend this property; the owner was just getting a new pool filled with water before arriving. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we meet him upon arrival; Can't wait to come back again for another trip. Scenery was beautiful and peaceful on this trip, stayed at the house the entire stay except for Saturday when we ventured to the lovely south haven. Everything was as describedand we had No issues with anything on the property. Wifi worked great!(Wifi was a must since most of use didn't have service )Thank you to the awesome owners of this property for helping make this weekend amazing! You guys Rock!

Cozy, sparkling clean property, close to all you need for a lake vacation

We were impressed by the house and the yard! Very clean house, cozy, with a like home feeling. The host was very friendly and he prepared the outdoor like for a friends party. Absolutely beautiful if you like to live out in the country away from the city and neighbors, pretty close to the beach and to the city. We already plan to go there again! To add to the beauty, I need to mention that there is an orchard nearby who provided us with amazing fruits! Great place for a long weekend vacation with friends!

Great Gals Getaway close to South Haven

Everything was great! House is very clean and well equipped. I walked the trail through the woods one morning. Just be prepared for those pesky Michigan mosquitoes. The surrounding area (unseen from the house) has some run down, and vacant residences. We felt perfectly safe however.

Quite wooded setting not far from shore line

Very clean modern accommodation with lots of amenities with deck and fire pit area and trails to walk around on. Everything you could want as far as dishes/ grill utensils/ seasonings. Only thing I would suggest to the property manager was maybe adding benches in the rooms to set your luggage on and a full length mirror. Definitely give the property 5 stars.

Friends Vacation

We had a really good time. The house was clean. We enjoyed the deck out back to barbecue. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and cookware we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit but we did have to buy our own firewood since it had rained and the wood that was available for use was wet. Checking in was easy as well. The only suggestion I would make is to have a ceiling fan in the bedrooms. But that is a personal choice since we are hot sleepers.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time staying here! It’s not too far from the freeway which leads to South Haven/Holland beaches. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. It was also spacious and the beds were comfortable. The backyard was beautiful with trees surrounding it. The deck and fire pit were really nice. The shed contains a little kitchen was a great idea. We did have an issue with the door lock on our last day before we checked out. Dan called us back immediately. He was very kind and let us know what to do. We would highly recommend staying here and would go back!

2nd time was just as great as the 1st

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as great as the first. If you prefer privacy and don't mind the drive to get to places, then this place is perfect! The place was very clean when we arrived, and check-in/out was very easy. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We took full advantage of the huge backyard. We brought remote control cars, badminton, bubbles, water balloons, glow in the dark toys, and had a blast with the kids. There were also some toys in stored under the deck for the kids to play with. We enjoyed cooking dinners over the camp fire every evening. None of the orchards are open for fruit picking this early in June, so that gives us a reason to come back!

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

A beautifully clean and comfortable home with fantastic outdoor spaces. The deck has ample seating and a beautiful view. The lighted fire pit area and small kitchen are perfect for hanging out in the evening. And the wooded trails make for lovely short walks. We all had a great time!

Truth in advertising…

We loved the property. The home & grounds were clean & well maintained. While secluded it was well within 20 minutes to the beach and other attractions in the area. We were able to relax at the end of days filled with activities. The beds & couch were comfortable and the amenities (AC, Internet, TV, games, deck, grill, hammock & firepit) were what we expected. The property owners were great to work with. They were responsive to any inquiries. Only issue while there was with the Internet and the property owner responded within 5 mins to our notification of the problem. He worked to quickly get it resolved. I can see why they are tagged as a Premier Host with Vrbo. I would highly recommend this home for anyone who likes a bit of separation from the touristy areas and doesn’t mind a short drive to the beaches & shoreline towns. We would definitely rent this home again.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean. Beds are comfortable. The house itself is very nice. Kids enjoyed exploring outside. Owner is quick with communication. Area was quiet and we felt safe. I only wish it was a bit closer to activities, but we knew that when we booked. Would definitely book again if the need arises.

Nice weekend get away

The house was beautifully clean and well stocked with cooking utensils. I don't think I've ever seen so many stars before! It was a quick drive to South Haven, Saugatuck and Holland if you're looking for a beach or a night out.

Great Place!

We stayed here for a few days to visit a local festival. This house is very nice, new, and clean. There is a ton of property and trails, good fire pit, and big deck. We had no issues checking in or out or any issues during our stay. We will be back!
