Enjoy panoramic views of the harbor from the furnished balcony of this third-floor condo near the heart of Hilton Head Island. This vacation rental, located in Shelter Cove Marina, features an updated, full kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar, a dining table for six, and an elegant and cozy living area with two sofas, a cable-equipped flatscreen TV, and sliding door access out to the balcony. This condo also includes a desk and chair for remote work or schooling and a unique "lockout" guest bedroom with its own separate entrance from outside. Guests will also enjoy access to a shared pool, all the amenities of the Palmetto Dunes Resort, and convenient and easy beach access via the Dunes Buggy shuttle.

Excellent location!

The Shelter Cove location is excellent! Restaurants, Live Music and Shops are conveniently located below this condo unit. Beautiful view of the harbour from the covered balcony. Additional updates include a modern vanity and walk-in shower in the primary bath, and the removal of the mirrored wall in the living room. Would not hesitate to book a stay at this condo again!

Wonderful stay!

The condo was great, and Vacasa was friendly, easy, and extremely helpful. I will definitely stay there again and use Vacasa for the booking. Everything was great!

Don’t be caught with your pants down!

Let’s just say from previous trips to this vicinity previous lodging was worth the money, this location was at best adequate. Definitely needs to have a facelift. Property owner was slow in communicating. Guest bathroom really needs attention.

Lost $2300.

I booked this the week before Tropical Storm Debby hit. The weather forecast was good when I booked. I didn’t take out vacation insurance. Then the day we were supposed to leave, Tropical Storm Debby was headed that way. I spoke to HHI law enforcement and they said our car could be under water if we parked at the rental. I called Vacasa, and emailed and messaged, begging for any kind of credit to use at a later date. They were rude and unsympathetic. We lost $2300 on a vacation we could not attend. I recommend booking with someone else. Through this experience I learned Vacasa is notorious for bad customer service. Pick a place not run by Vacasa!

Summer Vacation

We are empty nesters and enjoyed having all the shops, restaurants, and live music right where we were staying. Shuttle is very convenient. If you have small kids or babies, the live music is loud at night and last until about 10:00pm. This may be an issue at bedtime. We loved the fireworks show on Tuesday night. Overall we had a great time.

Great condo. Great location.

My husband, daughter, and I really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great location that’s walkable to many restaurants and shops. We drove to the beach but there was a shuttle available. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Very nice condo. The location is where you want to be. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. New cookware and well equipped kitchen. Very nice stayed for the golf trip.

Late summer getaway

We love Hilton Head, but we didn’t book early. Thankfully, we found Harborside and have enjoyed several days. Pluses were the restaurants, shops, and harbor.

Harbor View Condo Close to Shopping & Dining

This condo had a gorgeous view of the harbor and was close to entertainment, dining, and shopping! It's central location on the island made it easily accessible and convenient. Shelter Cove is a very busy area so keep this in mind when planning around holidays due to the extreme crowds that come due to special events. The condo needs some bathroom updates, but overall was comfortable and had a gorgeous patio view. The condo was pet-friendly and helped our entire family enjoy our vacation. We struggled to find the condo when we arrived due to the extreme entertainment traffic. No map of Shelter Cove was included with our parking pass either through Vacasa. We struggled to find the pool without a map as well. The 800 number for Vacasa told us to contact the local HHI Vacasa office so they could assist us better, but they never answered the phone. You could only leave a message. Vacasa reps did respond to online communication, but sometimes it took them a couple of days. Dealing with a management company instead of the owners was disappointing.

The condo is very comfortable. The guest bed was very firm and the bathrooms are dated but other than that a very pleasant stay. Would stay again.

Horrible experience

Unit very tired and depressing, carpet has a terrible stench from dogs, sofas and chairs worn and uncomfortable, dryer doesn’t dry properly, kitchen sink was clogged and needed a plumber, water pipes to the washing machine were corroded and water leaked, cupboard doors falling apart, …Unfortunately, other than the view, nothing good to say.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The location is excellent. It is on the water and there are several bars, restaurants and shops surrounding the building. The unit is HORRIBLE. The carpet is stained everywhere with pet urine spots. Every air vent is caked with dirt, grime and mold. After an hour in this unit our allergies were terrible. The baseboards are dusty. The washing machine did not work. The TV’s did not work. Fortunately Vacasa was able to move us to a different villa after one day. I repeat, DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT!!!
