Our "Wood Camp" 2020 21’Coleman Camper is a cozy,modern experience in a great location private location on a mountain side in the woods. The road to the camper is a well maintained gravel Mtn Road. a single vehicle parking space is located right next to the camper.

Located in Cosby/Newport Tennessee approximately 35 minutes from Gatlinburg and 50 min from Pigeon Forge. The Camper is providing a primitive experience with comfort at an affordable rental rate. The "Wood Camp" is nested in the woods among the trees on a mountain terrace and is right next to the Cherokee National Forest where you can find a lot of old mountain history. The camper will accommodate 2 guests comfortably, it provides a queen size bed , sitting area, enjoy your mountain views, full bath with shower and camping toilette, kitchen with sink, mini fridge/freezer , stove/range and lots of storage. There is also a small table with seating for 2. The cabin is equipped with heat and AC, towels, linens and kitchen necessities. Camper surroundings are secluded with access to hiking trail.You also can purchasing needed Firewood($8 per bundle).The camper is pet friendly but we recommend not to bring large dogs.
The dog / pet fee is $30 per pet and stay!
We also offer on Site Wellness Massages($35 for 1/2 hr Massage and $60 for 1 hr Massage).Massages will resume when Covid restrictions are lifted. The camper provides fire pit with grill, picnic table, charcoal grill . All of this with great forest views, secluded and part of Mother Nature.To have some great Mtn views on the Smokey Mtn National forest you can hike right from your camper uphill and also visit the Peace Pagoda. What are you waiting for? Experience this new way of getting back to nature with the "Wood Camp"

Simply peaceful and Beautiful

First of all Tammy is the Best Hostess! She has an amazing property. Breathtakingly beautiful views! The Camper was so cozy and clean! Close access to highway. Gatlinburg was not far at all! Five Stars!

Peaceful & Quiet

I stayed in the camper with my 2 small dogs. It was just right & I had everything I needed. The owner responded to my messages in a reasonable time & was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for some peace & quiet & it's just you or you & your significant other.

Peaceful getaway for a great price

Had a great , peaceful stay ! We had a few minor hiccups , but Tammy was very prompt to get us a resolution. You can tell the customer service is top notch . Enjoyed our stay so much that we will definitely be back in a few months and we even spread the word to our immediate family so they can stay here as well. It was perfect for my wife , myself and our 19 month old daughter . Thanks again !

Peaceful, relaxing stay

The rv was set back out of the commotion of the tourist going in and out. It was private, quiet and beautiful. The ability to camp with a little bit of luxury! The views are beautiful and you get the taste of the country in Tennessee. The host was very prompt in communication and also very friendly. My husband and I really really enjoyed ourselves, right along with our 1.5 year old daughter. This was our “babymoon” and we felt we picked one of the best places to stay!! We will definitely be back again. :)

Pictures are misleading on size. Bad communication (none) with owners.

Not ADA and bed is hard as rock. Had to rebook elsewhete so that our stay wasnt hell. Tried to get partial refund Vrbosaid contact owners but they never even called back. Find somewhere else.

Secluded but Still Close By

The Camper was in a nice secluded area, but was still very close to I-40. The access road to the property and leading to the Camper is best accessed with a Truck or SUV. Our Jeep Cherokee had no problems. The camper is plenty big enough for two people, and we also traveled with a small dog as well. We has a very relaxing weekend getaway.

Cozy secluded camper in the Great Smoky Mountains

We had a wonderful stay and the host was excellent! We had a secluded cozy camper with firepit, chairs & gazebo with grill. They had a menu for breakfast and the pancakes, homemade syrup & sausage were excellent along with the prices. We strongly recommend this for a 2 person stay!

Excellent place for a get away

We rented the camper and found it was perfect for us. We loved the location and the property owner/ management staff were extremely helpful. I will recommend this to anyone.

Not quite so easy to get to

Where the trailer is parked is really pretty but on the listing it says well maintained gravel drive, and it is maintained but no where in the description of the listing does it say you'll have to go up and down 2 extremely steep hills which for trucks may be easy but I dang sure wouldn't want to do it in a car. I have an srx which is kind of a small suv and it was difficult so I don't understand why that's not listed and the road all the way up is literally 1 car wide so mo room for errors really and on top of that at first we couldn't find exactly where the trailer was located and I tried calling the owners 2 times and messaging thru the app multiple times and no one ever answered thankfully we finally found it ourselves, the cleanliness was sub par I think the linens and towels could be upgraded and they definitely need to put new pots, pans, and table wear in there they're all quite old and don't look good at all and also 3 times an alarm just randomly went off we thought it was the fire alarm but never could find out and every time it went off we weren't doing anything one of us would just be like in the shower or watching tv and the last day it went off at 730 in the morning while we were dead asleep so idk what the alarm is from.

Super cute camper in the woods

You'll love this updated camper in the woods. It's glamping only with a toilet and shower, much welcomed after a day of hiking. It rained at night while we were there but the little raised sheltered area with table and chairs was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying drinks. It was also very handy to have a fridge and microwave after a long day. Would definitely recommend!

Mountain RV

This place was absolutely beautiful! The RV was clean ans had everything you'd need for your stay. The host was very friendly and with a snow storm heading in made sure to check up on me and that I had anything I needed! I would absolutely book with them again. The property is wonderful with hikes and lots to explore around it! Thanks for a short but excellent time

A few hiccups but overall GREAT experience

We had just a tiny problem finding it (it was dark) but the owner cleared that right up and got us to our camp site. The drive to the campsite is a steep hill so I'd recommend being very careful in small vehicles. When we arrived, everything was as described and the decorations were ADORABLE. Check in process is super easy and it was easy to locate the lock box for the key and retrieve it. The overall cleanliness was subpar upon first appearance (didn't look like the floor had been swept or just hadn't been used in a bit). We had an issue with the heat and refrigerator working at first but the owners were prompt on response time and did their best to fix all issues that arose. The bed was very comfortable and let up into a couch so it was more spacious during the day. They provided towels, washrags, all kitchware, coffee pods, an order in menu, pillows, and blankets. Also several bathroom goods. We took a morning to visit the peace pagoda at the entrance of our campsite and just WOW. It was an incredible experience that we'd definitely like to do again! Overall, the people were very friendly and accomodating to all our needs and the camper was a perfect fit for our stay!

Beautiful

We loved the camper. It was a bit smaller then we realized (that was my own fault for not reading all the details). The camper was clean and literally sat, just as they described, on the side of a mountain. It was beautiful to say the least! We would definitely rent this again.

Loved it!

My fiancé and I went for a weekend just to get away. It was quite secluded and very nice. There was pots and pans that we used to cook with and they had dish soap, silverware and spatulas and any thing that you would ever possibly need. The bathroom is very clean and tidy as well as the whole camper they had a nice candle for us on the table. Our hot water ran out during our stay and it was very easy for us to contact the property manager. Turns out he just had to replace our propane tank and he did all of that within 10 minutes of texting him that same morning. However I do want to warn people that have cars that are low profile or are 2WD there is a lot of steep gravel driveways that would make it really hard for some cars to make it up the roads so I do caution anyone who goes there to make sure that your car is in good shape and your tires are good as well. Overall we had an excellent experience and would recommend to anyone who is just wanting to get away. We know will definitely be going back for sure!!

Wonderful time

The location was very secluded and peaceful. Camper was very clean and bed was very comfy. The water pressure & temperature for the shower was better than some hotels I've stayed in. Chatted with the owner for a bit before we left - very nice and friendly guy. Would stay again.

Amazing!

Will definitely stay here again! We absolutely loved the view and how homey the camper felt. The shower was actually larger than the one we have at home. I was surprised with the items provided. They had paper towels, flatware, silverware, cups, towels, rags, coffee, a blanket, chairs to sit in outside, hand soap, body and hair soap, and soap to wash your dishes. I would recommend bringing hangers for your clothes and a dish sponge. The air conditioning worked quite well, and the bed/ pillows were very comfortable! Tammy was great with messaging me ahead of time to let me know how to get the key, so make sure and check your messages! All in all, you cannot beat the price, comfortablility, seclusion, but also the quality of service of this property! 5 stars, would give 20 if I could!
