Discover Chalet Lepenatka, located in the iconic Velika planina mountain. Enjoy breathtaking views, sunrises, and sunsets from your private chalet. It features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a bedroom, a bathroom, a private sauna, and a garden, accommodating up to 4 guests. The kitchen includes cookware and utensils, a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a coffee machine, and a dishwasher. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. For added comfort and a romantic atmosphere, you can also light the fireplace. The bedroom offers cozy beds.

Additionally, the chalet has a beautiful garden with outdoor furniture, where you can breathe the fresh mountain air and enjoy stunning views. Also, experience a range of outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, sledding).

Please note, the chalet is situated at an altitude of 1500 meters and is accessible by gondola and chairlift.

Velika planina is the largest and most visited mountain plateau in Slovenia, located northeast of Kamnik. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a hiker, or simply seeking beautiful views and relaxation, Velika planina invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the tranquility of the mountains. It consists of several pastures and is best known for its idyllic shepherds' settlement, centered around the Chapel of Mary of the Snows, which captivates every visitor. The area is most lively in the summer when shepherds fill the cottages and stay with their livestock until September. Visitors can taste local delicacies and enjoy a traditional shepherd's meal. Explore the Preskar Museum and the chapel. Stroll past cows, anthills, and traditional cottages. And for winter lovers – winter on Velika planina is magically enchanting.

You can reach the chalet with a cable car and chairlift. Free parking at cable car station in Kamniška Bistrica valley (address: Kamniška Bistrica 2, Stahovica). Chalet is located about 1600 m above sea level. That is why the weather conditions can be highly unpredictable. Therefore good physical strenght and especially suitable footwear and warm clothes are important.
