Spend summer like the locals living in a comfortable 2bedroom/2bath home in beautiful Stonington, CT. There is a well equipped kitchen, expresso maker to enojoy your morning coffee on a deck or balcony. Washer and dryer are located in the kitchen for your convenience.
Bedroom on the first floor has a queen size bed and adjacent full bathroom with walk in shower. Second floor bedroom has a king size bed, access to the balcony with water views, and a bathroom with shower and a tub.
There is a large deck, and a private, fenced in yard with BBQ.
Enjoy sea breeze and sunsets or watch sailboats go by from the balcony. The best views of 4th of July fireworks are from here.
The house is walking distance to the Stonington village and 10 min drive to Mystic and white sandy beaches of Rhode Island.
Stonington village is a quiet and safe community with private beach, playground, cultural center, shopping, restaurants, tennis and paddle courts. Rent a kayak, paddle board or take a sailing lesson. Weekly farmers market will supply fresh produce and abundance of fresh seafood is sold locally for a delicious home cooked meal. Velvet Mill offers art galleries, bakery, yoga studio, restaurants and brewery and it is definitely worth visiting. And for the wine lovers there are beautiful vineyards near by offering wine tasting and music. Saltwater farm vineyard is a must visit!

Great location to walk to town and see the sunset on the water at night from the upstairs deck. House was clean and perfect size for our family. I was nervous about being so close to the train tracks for the sound at night but couldnt hear it at all. My toddler slept like a rock.

Beautiful Stonington Property!

Anna's property is beautifully decorated and very clean. It was the perfect setting for a Girls Weekend with old friends. We loved relaxing on the deck with views of the water, and it was very conveniently located to all the spots we wanted to go to- wineries, Mystic, and of course great restaurants in the Borough. I would definitely stay here again!

This house is in a quaint little town with lots of history. Lots of eateries right near by and Mystic just a 10-15 min drive. Easy to find, comfortable, clean and coastal. The only negative were the window blinds weren't the best. If i ever come back would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!!

Very cute. Very cozy. And close to Mystic and the beach without being overly crowded or noisy. A "best of both worlds" experience.

Great location, lovely house and property! My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend for an event in Rhode Island and very much enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean, well-kept and spacious. The back deck was a great place for relaxing out in the nice weather. The house is within driving distance to plenty of local restaurants and shopping (though on the weekends things did close early). We did not attempt to walk anywhere from the house, but probably could have if we had more time to check out the immediate area. We had zero complaints and would stay here again!

I want to be very honest with a review of this property as many others were not. This property was misrepresented. It stated AC the only AC was in the bedroom. It was very hot on the main floor. It’s summer with temps of 90 degrees. So those tenants renting in August beware! Also they neglected to mention the train in the backyard that goes by every 15 minutes. There’s a TV upstairs but it’s not connected that’s ridiculous.I love the Mystic/Stonington area but this property did it work for us.

A very big disappointment!!

this property is sparsley furnished with mismatched furniture that comes right out of a thrift store. There is no AC in the living room. The temperature when we walked in was 83 degrees!!! Who doesnt have AC in living room in this day and age! House must have been shut down for awhile, although we were not allowed into house til 4 pm, claiming cleaning service needed to 4 to complete house. No instructions re trash days, etc., kitchen had no salad bowls, two very small pots, no broiler pan, etc., etc. Train runs right behind house. Few hangers, and one wash cloth for two people plus one bath towel and one hand towel. I would definitely not recommend a stay here.

Communication with owner difficult & no washer

House was clean and decorated nicely but communication with the owner very difficult. I had to contact owner multiple times for check in information, and finally received it at 4:15pm, whereas check in is at 4pm. We were there for 17 nights - 04/19 thru 05/06 - and the washer was broken when we tried our first wash and it never got fixed. Backyard beautiful but overgrown and was told it was because they don't mow the lawn in May, however I asked about the mowing in April! Toilet was leaking upstairs but did get fixed within 2 days. Train runs every 10-15 minutes immediately behind backyard, so can be noisy if windows are open. Location very good to Stonington and Mystic. It really is a lovely home but owner lives on the West coast - 3 hours behind - so communication difficult.

Mystic Boat show

While attending the wooden boat show, we needed a place that was close by. The home was comfortable and had all necessary amenities. There was a lovely back yard and porches. There was easy access to local sites.

Friends Trip

We have used VRBO a lot to book house rentals and have never been disappointed until now. I do not feel that the pictures accurately details the house, from the pictures it looks like the house on the water, it is not- There was on a/c in the bedrooms, tv only in the living room, upstairs tv not connected to anything- If someone needed to use the bathroom, had to go in the bedroom- deck on first floor is under deck for upstairs but has slots in it, when it rained you could not sit outside- We are renting house in Nashville in a couple of weeks, from VRBO, hope we are not disappointed-

Lovely home in Stonington!

The property was great! You cannot beat the location and it has a pleasing layout. The rooms were spacious and we were grateful for the quality window units as it was really hot. Everything was spic and span. The back patio is a nice place to relax and the upper deck is also a fun touch. Anna was very helpful and communicative. We absolutely recommend staying here!

Clean and responsive!

We stayed here for a long weekend in Stonington with a young child and her grandparents for a family getaway. The place was super clean and the owner was very responsive. It's easy access to a lot of places around Stonington and we also spent some time in mystic. Would highly recommend!

Great Weekend Getaway

My husband and I, along with another couple, just returned from a long weekend in Stonington. We loved how walkable everything was from this rental. We enjoyed a couple of water front dinners with gorgeous views of the sunset. The rental was stocked with everything we needed for our visit. We also enjoyed nights on the balcony after a long day of exploring. Mystic is just a short drive away, as is Misquamicut State Beach in Rhode Island. We are already talking about returning next year.
