Nice place

Very comfortable and perfect stay for our golf trip. Great communication from the owner and it was a lot of space for us. Bring your own toiletries and laundry detergent but wasn’t a big deal for us as we were prepared. Great value stay.

Great house but no beach access

The negative: If you are looking for true beach access, this is not for you. To get to the beach, you have to walk about 10 minutes through the woods. The beach is fairly deserted, very "marshy", lots of dead ocean creatures, no chair rentals or vendors. We ended up driving everyday about 20 minutes to Coligny. Also, the house is near a small airport and planes flew over many times each day (sometimes very low). The positive: The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Beautifully furnished. Large front porch with rockers. And a very friendly neighborhood cat! :)

Family getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect home for a family getaway. Spacious, clean, great quiet location. Will definitely be booking this home again for next year.

Unnecessary barrage of harassing text messages from host

The property itself was adequate, however there was only one roll of paper towels for the entire six day stay and only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. No toiletries were offered (soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc...) - not a huge deal but not a very welcoming, hospitable environment. This feeling was reinforced by the host who, instead of checking in to see how things were going, sent a string of harassing text messages questioning the number of cars there, number of guests, etc... We were in town for my son's wedding and had family, friends stopping over at various times for get togethers and such. The messages made us feel like we were squatters, not guests. Our dog was brought down by our son due to unforeseen circumstances, and we paid a significant pet feel for this inconvenience (she stayed just two of the days). The host complained of excessive dog hair (not true) - either way, this extra fee on top of the cleaning fee was more than enough to pay for any extra vacuuming. He sent me a picture of poop, claiming it was my dog's. I checked the house from top to bottom before I left and did not see anything. While I possibly missed it, I'm wondering if the picture was real. The joyous week of my son's wedding was tainted by this most inhospitable host. I have a five star guest rating - this man is in the wrong business as a STR host. I too have STR properties and would never treat guests the way he treated me and my family.

The “Pink “ House

The property was very clean and cozy. Just need to adjust the way the fridge/freezer works. The fridge/freezer didn’t get cold enough until 3 days after we were there and the freezer never made enough ice.

Perfect stay for extended family

Property was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. House was well stocked with every thing we needed. Host was very helpful and quick to reply. Would stay again for sure!

Funny Journey

This was a last minute adventure for us, and we needed something with decent accommodations - the Mitchell Cottages were a great fit for us. Lots of living space and great bed rooms for family.
