If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Dock details:



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The location was wonderful, with views of the marsh / river and across the street from the beach. The house was very well-maintained with a very complete set of kitchen utensils and dishes. The bedrooms were very comfortable.

The location was great --- just across from beach access. We enjoyed the roomy living area and the kitchen. It was great have fast internet and 4 smart tvs. Would return in a heart beat.

You did it once again!!

Many thanks to vacasa and the home owner of Bewitched 2. We have stayed in this home many times and it never disappoints. Beautiful views, close to a public access to the sound and many extras. We riding home trying to find our next date to return!!!!

Family Relaxing Getaway!

All 5 of us loved the slow paced lifestyle of Edisto! The house had a beautiful view of some of the marsh lands, but it can have an odor on hot summer days when the tide goes out.

Pros - bed in the master is SUPER comfortable, plenty of extra blankets and bedding. Very close (across the street) to the beach! Well appointed kitchen. Porch overlooking the marsh is very nice as is the view. CONS - while well appointed the kitchen has only two small fry pans and is not organized. The dock needs A LOT of work, there is a hole in the middle we ended up putting a bucket over so no one would fall through it. Master shower was cramped and uncomfortable, although the water pressure was very good. Home, overall, is very dark and needs brighter bulbs and maybe more lamps.

End of Summer Family Vacation

This home worked out great for our family. It had everything we needed including a few extra beach chairs downstairs and even water bowls for our dogs. It was conveniently located across from access 36 and a short bike ride or car ride to the marina. The home is in need of some repairs. The decking boards and stairs are very flimsy and the dock has rotten areas that if a larger person were to walk in them they could give way. The owners in the other side of the duplex were at the house on our arrival. They were very welcoming and explained to us which dock was for our use. They told us once they left in a couple of days we could spread out and use the whole yard and under the home. We do appreciate the extra linens that were left for us and the basic necessities to get started like the dish liquid, hand soaps in kitchen and baths. Overall a nice place. We will recommend it to our friends in the future.

Amazing Views

Enjoyed peaceful mornings and evenings on the screen porch with the marsh views. Beautiful sunrises. Plenty of room for mid size family and so nice to have our pets with us. We enjoyed cooking every meal in the well equipped kitchen. It was nice having the large table so we all could enjoy socializing while eating and playing games. Very comfortable and clean home with a great location. Just a few steps more than the ocean front homes. Loved the ocean breezes on the front porch and under the house which was very nice while washing off beach toys and little ones after a hot day on the beach. We enjoyed relaxing out on the dock during high tide with the shade and breeze. We saw dolphins everyday while on the beach. We can’t wait to come back.

Great location, relaxing view, some flaws

This duplex is perfect for a small group, and we will likely return. The good: 1 - Main bedroom has a beautiful view, and the bed is very comfortable. 2 - Two smaller front bedrooms are comfortable if you like twin beds and bright colors. 3 - Outdoor spaces are wonderful - screened porch with table, open deck with lounge chairs, under house paved area and screened area. Also dock in front (be sure you check house numbers on deck roof to know which is yours!) 3 - Kitchen is wonderfully equipped, even including an air fryer and Instapot! Coffee pot is large (fluted filters) with insulated carafe. 4 - Just across the street is a walkway to beach for incredible sunsets (don't miss!) The not-so-good: 1 - Louvered doors in main room and main bedroom are annoying in that they won't stay open and won't stay shut. 2 - The light for the oven doesn't work, so it's really easy to leave it on after using. This needs to be fixed! 3 - There are no blinds in the middle bedroom, just sheer curtains, so don't choose that room if you want to go to bed early or sleep late. 4 - The kitchen shelves need to be papered and the kitchen items more organized. There's a lot in there, but it's a hodge-podge to find what you need. 5 - It's hard to find this house in the dark or the daylight for that matter. It sits well back from the road and there are no numbers on the mailbox. The numbers on the house cannot be seen from the street. 6 - The main bathroom is very long and narrow with double closet and long counter in a hall-like area, and the smaller room for tub and toilet at the end is tiny and cramped. If you are a large person, this would not be optimal. Our standards aren't so high that we didn't fully enjoy this house even in spite of the flaws. It isn't great for a crowd, and I wouldn't advise a large group in spite of actual number of beds. Keep in mind it is half of a house, so shared spaces are not big. All n all, though, we had a wonderful stay. I list the flaws just as heads-ups to anyone who might need more detail before deciding.

Crabbing???

We enjoyed our stay at Bewitched. The house was very nice and clean. Everything was there that we needed. The back deck is in dire need of repair… Lots of rotten and or loose boards, no water running out there and no electricity. One of our big goals was to crab off the back… We were there a week and no crabs. We had to find a different location and then we caught many. but it would’ve been much more convenient to grab off the property. Very nice and easy walk to the beach however it is on the end where there are no large waves. The staff at Vacasa was great and we will book through them again, just maybe not this place.
