Disaster

This is appalling, that you are asking me to review our stay, when we were refused access to the property. You knew this, because you advised me that I needed to contact the host, because they had not given me access details. When I did, they refused me access. You have confirmation of this in the recorded online chat. This was at 9 pm the night before we travelled to Dallas from the Dominican Republic. My wife and I were left with nowhere to stay. Your 24 hour helpline was useless, as three times all I got was a recorded message in Spanish. I have been waiting two weeks for a refund. This is the most appalling rental service I have ever experienced. Do you actually want to do anything about apologising and compensating me for this dereliction of service???

Not Terrible, but Not as Expected

The location of the property was not in Deep Ellum as advertised. It was actually located close to Love Field Airport but the address was not provided until the day of check-in. The phone number provided by the Host went straight to voice mail with every attempt to call throughout the duration of the stay. Through message the Host was inconsistent with replies, multiple messages were never acknowledged. Upon arrival the unit was not clean with dirt and dust on the ground and what appeared to be bile stains on the carpets in both the bedroom and closet. The area is fairly nice but neighbors were occasionally loud at night. I also came back one day to find the unit had no power. It only took about 3 hours to resolve once I returned, but I don’t know how long the power had been out before I got back. Staying for 2 and a half months, I certainly wouldn’t consider it a horror story. It worked well for what I needed but was not what I had envisioned when I initially booked.
