This isn’t just any rental cabin—it's a meticulously maintained, beautifully decorated retreat with breathtaking views of Lake Blue Ridge and the Great Smoky Mountains from every level! Enjoy complete privacy with a cozy outdoor covered porch, comfortable seating, a real wood fireplace, and a wrap-around porch. The lit stairs lead to a great firepit area. Inside, the large living space features a stacked stone gas fireplace, 65” smart TV, two-story ceiling, and a full wall of windows to soak in the views. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, and the spacious dining area is perfect for family meals. The master bedroom on the main level offers a full bath with double vanity and a large walk-in shower. Upstairs, two spacious bedrooms each have TVs and share a full bath. The terrace level provides another large living space with a stacked stone fireplace, 65” smart TV, bar, small refrigerator, new pool table, full bath, and laundry, leading to another porch with a hot tub. Located just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, you’ll have easy access to popular hiking trails, the Toccoa River, boutiques, fine and casual dining, ziplining, horseback riding, and lake activities. Free high-speed WIFI is available. Note that low riding sports cars are not recommended due to the mountain terrain.

Gorgeous cabin with stunning views

This cabin was so lovely. A perfect combination of cabin cozy and luxury details. We have rented several cabins in the Blue Ridge area and this was my favorite. We would definitely rent it again. Cathy was a perfect hostess, making sure everything was communicated to us and easy to take care of.

Spring Break Getaway

Spring Break trip with our college senior and his girlfriend. After staying in cabins over the last 20 years with our kids (Gatlinburg, Branson, Blue Ridge) this was by far the BEST. Views....no words to describe. Beds....amazing. Furnishing and Decor....Excellent. I would not change a thing about this cabin. The owners were so gracious and welcoming they made us feel like friends staying in their cabin.

Best Cabin in Blue Ridge

The location of the cabin was perfect. I was looking for a secluded quit place for us to relax and we truly felt like we were the only ones on the mountain! The cabin was clean and well stocked and felt like home! The view is also amazing. The owners were helpful and gave us great advise on the best places to visit and dine! We can’t wait to return!

The BEST Girls’ Trip

It was a lovely weekend! The whole check-in process was so easy- Cathy was very helpful and always willing to answer questions. The house was gorgeous and spacious- beds were super comfortable! We loved hanging out by the outdoor fireplace and relaxing in the hot tub. The multiple porches all have amazing views. It was the perfect house!!

A great out of the way spot in Blue Ridge

We absolutely loved our stay on Spirit Mountain. Cathy is a fantastic host. Her guidance to use Apple Maps was definitely essential for accurate directions to and from the cabin. The drive was a fun adventure. We saw deer on our ascent. The location is breathtaking, with an unforgettable view, especially at sunrise. The cabin was the perfect cozy retreat for our family of four. Even our usually restless teenagers, who are always eager to head into downtown Blue Ridge, were completely content staying in and enjoying the cabin. Between the pool table, hot tub, and inviting outdoor spaces, we had plenty to keep us entertained. The well-equipped kitchen and daily use of the grill made our stay even more enjoyable. This cabin is truly special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

My husband and I needed a weekend getaway where we could relax and truly reset. James and Cathy’s cabin was exactly what we needed! The cabin in itself is gorgeous and clean- it’s a perfect family home. The views are absolutely astounding. We were very pleased with our stay and can’t wait to reconnect with Cathy and James in the future. We would rent their cabin again in a heartbeat! Beautiful Mountain Cabin

Gorgeous cabin furnished with everything you need for a wonderful trip to Blue Ridge. We came up from Atlanta and brought my parents who were visiting from Utah. We had a wonderful time. Cooked dinner in the kitchen that literally has anything you might need. Made s’mores in the lovely fire pit. Sat for hours on the deck and took in the spectacular views. We will definitely come back!

PERFECT Getaway in a BEAUTIFUL Cabin

One thing is “guaranteed” about visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains and that’s the beautiful views. Our cabin had amazing views from all the rooms. It was spotless, meticulously and comfortably decorated as well. The hot tub on the porch also overlooked the mountains. We enjoyed the game room with the pool table and large bar to sit and just enjoy nature. As for the kitchenette, it was lacking nothing and was stocked with every appliance you need to prepare the perfect breakfast. It was a short weekend trip but it was well worth the five hour drive. We’ll definitely choose this property again!!!

This cabin was gorgeous, immaculate and well stocked. The extra efforts/amenities were a welcoming surprise! This home is perfect for a cozy, private, relaxing sabbatical with breathtaking views of the mountains, lake, and wildlife. It is a convenient location to Blue Ridge and local dining/shopping/attractions. The outdoor areas (fire pit, outdoor living area, hot tub) were comfortable for conversation, warming by the fire, and enjoying nature. The basement game area was great for a little competition and libations! The owners were easily accessible and kind with a genuine concern was for all guests to enjoy. Absolutely would return!!

Summer vacation

The property was perfect! We have stayed at several in the past that the online booking used old photos and when we got there, it was nothing like we thought. Not this one. It was even more amazing than the photos online. Cathy was so helpful. She gave us ideas of things to do with our boys and checked in a few times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The views can’t be beat, from every window and every level outside, they are absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be going back!

A July 4th For The Books

Wonderful visit to the top of the mountain with my wife, sister and brother-in-law. I always first select my cabins in Blue Ridge for their view, but this cabin truly had it all. A consistent tenant review of ten (10) was all that I needed to finalize my reservation. The mountain scenic views are every bit as remarkable as the photos, but when you also recognize that all of the cabin amenities function well, are clean, and are regularly maintained - the decision to choose this specific cabin was immediately justified. We utilized (and enjoyed) the deck, porch, hot tub, grill, flat screens, pool table, stove, microwave etc. - virtually everything - depending on time of the day, the mood and the weather. Cathy and James (owners) were available, but never intrusive - not even in the slightest. This cabin has everything that you should need for your stay. To my crowd, "cleanliness" is a big plus. Granted - it should be a given. Well, you certainly can count on it with these fine owners. We treated the cabin as if it was our own, and the cabin treated us as "royalty". Fantastic cabin w/Exceptional Views

You will not be disappointed! We took our two teenagers for a long weekend getaway in Blue Ridge. The owner, Cathy, was super helpful from beginning to end. She told us all about the cabin ahead of time, gave us restaurant recommendations, and even stayed on the phone with me up the mountain to the cabin when I took a wrong turn. The cabin itself is incredible. The views truly are panoramic from the wraparound deck and two story living room. The configuration was perfect for our family (especially older kids) and would be for a girls' weekend. Our kids had their own bedrooms upstairs together, and we were in master on the main. Everything was spotless and the decor is beautiful. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. We used every square inch of the house - coffee on the porch in the morning, hot tub multiple times, pool table competition, s'mores in the fire pit, relaxing on covered porch with outdoor fireplace, and my daughter's favorite spot on the pillows in front of the gas fireplace in living room. Cabin is very close to downtown shopping, restaurants and grocery store. There is also great hiking nearby, including a trailhead for Benton Mackaye trail right at the base of the mountain (~10 min down from cabin). We will be absolutely be back!

Owner watches and listens in from the porch camera!

Very nice cabin with gorgeous mountain views. You may need a truck or an SUV to reach it due to the very narrow, washed-out road with steep drops. Here is the not-so-good news. Our family of 4 rents cabins in the Blue Ridge and Ellijay area twice per year. Never have we been "interviewed" to pre-qualify for a rental cabin like this ever before. It felt more like an interrogation as we were asked to tell about ourselves, our family, where we are coming from, what type of car we drive, etc... you will need to be ready to pass the "screening test" to qualify because in her own words, she is a clean freak, but so are we so it seemed fair. Good communication with the host is important, but when the owner keeps calling and texting you throughout your vacation to make sure her property is still ok...is not OK! When the wind picked up, we were called and asked to take down the porch accessories and owls from the deck. No problem. Then we started the fire in the wood-burning fireplace outside and a few minutes later our phone rang, and this time the owner asked us to put the fire out, because "if the house catches fire it would be a total loss." It's a very uncomfortable feeling, knowing that you are actually being watched! We don't drink, smoke, or party, and in the end, we cleaned the kitchen, took the trash out, left the cabin clean, yet were charged a $500 fee for 1 extra kid, a single cup in the sink, and a scratch on the floor. Hate being watched? Rent elsewhere!

Paradise in the clouds

Sunrise Ridge is spectacular! The location is unbelievable. The cabin was clean, well decorated and there wasn't anything you could possibly need. The hosts outdid themselves. If I could give a 10 rating I would!

Amazing Getaway

This cabin had EVERYTHING needed for a perfect stay! It is Beautifully decorated and so well kept - what a gorgeous place for a trip with friends and family The back deck was our favorite place to be as the view is breathtaking and we made sure to watch the stunning sunrise every morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor covered porch and fireplace. The game room was so much fun, and the hot tub that overlooks the mountains was relaxing and the perfect ending to each day. The town of Blue Ridge is adorable and quaint…we loved all the cute shops and restaurants. The owners of the cabin are so nice and accommodating. This was a wonderful and relaxing 3-night stay in a beautiful cabin!

James & Cathy live in Cherokee County GA. We have always been drawn to the mountains. While dating many years ago we talked about having our cabin with an amazing view to enjoy. We made that a reality and love every minute we are able to spend there and share with our guests. We have 3 grown children who still live in the area and look forward to sharing time enjoying all Blue Ridge has to offer!

James & I love the mountains! We found Blue Ridge appealing as it was only 90 mins from our primary home. When we arrive at My Happy Place, we truly feel like we are on vacation! The town of Blue Ridge is small but packs a punch! Great restaurants, shops, and several wineries, and a brewery are all close by! We enjoy hiking all the great trails, checking out the waterfalls, and beautiful scenery. Lake Blue Ridge is close by too. The cabin has a view of the lake. There is tubing and fishing down the road at the Toccoa river.
