The location and views from upper deck are awesome! The best thing about this cabin is that you can catch a fish right off the back patio!!!!

Keep in mind although it is super cute on the inside, it is still a fish camp. It does not have central heat and air, but each room has its own window unit and fan.

Great family guy fishing weekend! Having the boat lift access was great- crabbing was phenomenal. A/C worked great in every room! The boys had a blast. No monster catches, but the guys limited out on trout 2 days and fed themselves off of their catches every evening .

Great place!

Very quiet and peaceful. Good fishing. Everything you need is already on-site. Is a little hard to find (google maps is not right) but owners were always available. Will stay their again!

Fun, Fish & Relax

The title says it all, we went to sargent to have fun, do some fishing and just relax. From start to finish everything went smoothly. We had no doubt as the owners kept in contact with us as needed and were prompt to answer any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay, thanks for loaning us the crab traps as we caught plenty for bait and to eat. Make sure to bring your fishing gear, the fishing is excellent. Thank for everything.

Perfect!

Was the perfect getaway our family was looking for! Communication with Host was top notch! Cabin had everything we needed! We caught a ton a fish and crabs right off the back porch! The best part was the amazing gulf breeze that blew through the back patio all weekend! We will be back in the Fall!

Great Fishing Location

We enjoyed our stay here in Sargent. Marci was great and was quick to respond as needed. Definitely a unique setup, but if you are looking for a fishing spot on the intercoastal this location is hard to beat. Had everything we needed for a fun weekend of fishing. Looking forward to coming back.

Ultimate Fishing Cabin

Great fishing off the dock and close to the boat ramp to drop in. Cabin is clean and has everything you need for a great time. I will definitely book again for my next fishing trip.

Looking Forward to My Return

I really enjoyed this property and all of the included amenities. Spent two days and nights here with a friend to do some fishing in my personal boat. The boat slip and lift was simply perfect and allowed us to be on the water and fishing very quickly. The host was just wonderful. She communicated thoroughly and answered my questions very promptly. Great Place!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even with highs in the 40s.... Beautiful deck up top but it was too cold to enjoy this time. My daughter and I each hooked one big black drum, plus caught sheep-head, one eel and a few hardheads. Small but very comfortable and clean. Well stocked and cute decor. Going back when it's a little warmer!!!!

Great Location

Such an adorable cabin right on the intracoastal water way. To walk out and be able to fish so easily is very convenient. We enjoyed great catches, and watching Dolphins playing up and down going after the barges. Can't wait for another trip.

Cool place to stay right on the water.

Fun place to stay right on the water where you can fish from your back porch while having Wi-Fi and a break from the mosquitoes when they show up. Caught some really big black drum pan one of caught more fish if the conditions would have been better. Boatlift was nice.

We love fishing East Matagorda Bay! We just recently purchased this property on the intercostal. Previously we owned a spot on a canal. This little town of Sargent is our home away from home and we absolutely love it here!!!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

LOCATION!!! This property is on the Sargent side of the intercostal with a beach view. So easy to get to by land and boat. The beach side public boat ramp is directly across from our property. East bay is only a few minutes in the boat away from our back door.

The fishing from the back patio is also awesome!!! Bull reds, Black Drum, Flounder, Gafttop and trout. The crabbing is also good from the dock.

When we aren’t fishing we love sitting on the upper deck and looking at the beach.
