Sandy Point is a luxury, year round vacation rental getaway with 1 family owned cabin on the east side of Mille Lacs Lake. Walking distance from Hunters Point Resort, this cabin is just steps away from the lake with amazing views, a dock and boat lift! Sandy beach in the bay as well!

Large Group Accommodations: We partner with Sunset Shore Mille Lacs for large groups looking to accommodate up to 27 guests. Sunset Shore Mille Lacs cabin is 1/2 mile down the road from Sandy Point. This is the second time we have stayed at Sandy Point and our third time staying with this owner. They think of EVERYTHING! There are night lights and outlets for charging and towels and bathroom essentials! It's an absolute dream for a family stay. The sunset from the yard is amazing. I plan to stay here again and again and again!

This was a great cabin! The place was very clean and had plenty of room for all of us. The dock also had room for both of our boats and there was a big yard to play games. Overall, a great stay!

Great Lake Place

Our stay was really fantastic. The property is larger than I would have thought and was great for two couples with Kids. They were able to have a sleep over in the family room area. Really a great place with fantastic views.

Beautiful place in great location

Although the trip was a bit interesting due to self-inflicted issues, the property was amazing and the house was perfect. Would highly recommend as we look forward to booking again next year. Great communication throughout the stay!!

Great get away

Our two daughters and our 5 grandchildren stayed at this cabin. It was very clean and well stocked with the things that we needed, the area and the lake was beautiful! Would recommend to anyone!

Perfect extended getaway

We just wanted a little getaway with family before our youngest heads back to college. Beautiful cabin and great location! We’re familiar with the lake already so know issues to come with that. Great stay overall!

Ideal setting for a lake weekend!

Absolutely loved our stay - the property itself is amazing. Stunning views of Mille Lacs, plenty of trees to string up a hammock right on the property, only 3 minutes to the boat launch, no weeds off the dock so you can swim (plus it stays shallow for quite a ways off the dock so you can just wade and cool down). House itself is great - well stocked kitchen, great WiFi, excellent AC and super clean. Will absolutely be back!

Awesome property

The cabin was very nice exceeded my expectations , was pretty windy while we were there, so we didn't go fishing as much as we wanted but great much needed family time, I would recommend this property to others.

Relaxing summer site

Best of Nature!

Rented with the purpose to “get away” and it was absolutely PERFECT! The cabin was great and the water was so peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you for making this space available, it was a great getaway…we are already checking calendars to come back!

The place was perfect for our family gathering

We lived the place and it worked great for our family. We wanted to spend more time but were up there for a family event. The hosts were so accommodating and the thought of everything. Each of our family said we are definitely coming back. Thank you!
