Family time

We get together annually and it’s not easy finding a place to accommodate 7 of us. This was perfect. All one floor with kitchen and dining space. View of ocean, easy access to the beach and enjoyed sitting on the porch.

One night next to the beach

Property was next to the beach maybe 3 houses away. Walkable to the pier and Brunswick. House seems to be unfinished with repairs/renovations but was clean.

Great stay at OOB

We stayed in mid-June, just before the summer season kicks into gear at OOB, so it was a nice quiet time (except for our dog) at this location. Two lots away from the beach, and three away from a little restaurant/convenience store, 15 minute walk to the pier. This place was great for 5 adults + dog, and close enough to downtown for a great week’s stay. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. The unit was comfy and well-equipped. I would rent here again.

The stairs were steep and narrow, hard for someone with mobility problems. Otherwise, we had a great time!

Cute little condo but seems to have unfinished ceiling that has been that way for years in living room and kitchen. It’s a bunk bed in the kids room, not two beds side by side. The pictures don’t really accurately represent the property. Beds were stiff. Overall I don’t think I’d rent it again but it was in a great location at least.

Excellent location to the beach. Place was clean despite obvious lack of repairs or upkeep of the property. Ceilings were lacking or falling apart. Beware this property has cockroaches. My son had them in his bed and we saw them in the living room. Expensive rental for lack of repairs and roaches. This is a rental from Vrbo, third party communication is minimal. Watch out for the hidden fees.

Cockroach Five-Plex

My family and I were very disappointed with this property. It is not as nice as it appears in the listing. The dining room and kitchen ceiling is covered in spray foam insulation. There is only one window a/c in the dining room. It is cluttered with mismatched chairs in the living room. Let’s not forget the reason why we didn’t stay, the cockroaches that came out of the woodwork when night time fell.

Pictures do not represent the accommodations

The pictures posted to advertise absolutely do not match the accommodations. This place is under construction with the ceiling in the kitchen and dining room blown in insulation only. Two bedrooms have unfinished ceiling and the tiles on the living room ceiling are sagging from what appears to be water damage. Most things on the kitchen counters, ie utensil holder with several layers of dust and the ac with light on requiring cleaning of filter. While the description says bunk beds if you click through to the bedroom the picture of the room with the two beds is not what you are getting. In fact the wall protrudes into the room in such a way that it would not be possible to put those beds in the room side by side. It doesn’t even seem to be a photo of the same room. As 4 adults looking to have a clean and comfortable place to sleep after a long day we were very disappointed. I tried to reach out to the owner and when I stated the rooms did not match the pictures he stopped replying until will after check out. If you are looking to be close to the beach and do not care what you are sleeping in, this place has location but that is all. I have used vrbo many times over the years and have never had this kind of false advertisement. Very disappointing and will have to think twice before booking with them again.

Great location, good place

Location is second to none. As for the unit, it's tight for 8 people, but ok. We had an issue with the blinds not really blocking the light. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a great time!

Location is perfect!

We love the location of this apartment. We enjoyed being able to sit on the porch and look at the ocean. The space did look like the construction was not completed. Some of the fans did not work and the shower curtain was nasty. However, I would not let any of this deter you from staying at this property.

Dog friendly place convenient to beach

Location was great. We enjoyed our time there, glad we went after the high season since that allowed a lot of beach time with the dog. The apartment is rustic but had everything we needed and we would go there again.

Not clean

The place was not clean. There was dust on the fan in the bedroom from months ago and the extra pillows were super dirty. The shower was so small that could barely fit a person and with low water pressure. It says it sleeps 8 but that’s not possible. The sofas in the living room could barely sleep 1 short person (they weren’t sleeping sofas). Overall, the only good point was the location.

Location is great!

The location is great! Really, just steps away from the beach. Super convenient for carting the beach gear, eating lunch, or checking in on your pet. The kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were quaint and campy. We loved having coffee and people watching on the little porch! The sound-proofing could be improved, as we could hear every step our neighbors upstairs made, the shower and its water pressure could use some upgrading, and the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, but nothing intolerable. We all had so much fun and honestly loved our stay.

It was great!

Only difficult part, is that the parking is very tight and you CANNOT be in the sidewalk area at all. But the place was clean, had extra fans, towels, and was super cute! Everything!

Under construction

It felt like the space was thrown together to be able to rent it for the season. One bedroom was still under construction and not even finished, leaving exposed nail points throughout the walls of an open closet. The bathroom was barely sizeable and the shower stall required you to stand pin straight due to how incredibly small it was. Cleanliness is a 3. We climbed into a bed that had sand in it. Incredibly gross. Location is a 5. It was very close to the beach and as long as you don’t spend much time in the unit, it’s acceptable.

Great Stay, Great Location, Great Time

This place was perfect for 6 of us that get together somewhere different every summer. Owner was friendly and hospitable. Accommodations were fine. Cannot beat the location. Steps from the beach. Walking distance to downtown. Overall great stay. Recommend for a larger crowd looking to enjoy OOB!

Great location!

Rental was just steps away from the beach! Parking was easy and check in process was also very easy. Owner was very nice and very responsive to my messages. Far enough away from downtown that you don't get the noise all night but a close enough walk. I would go back here in a heartbeat!

Not terrible but not great. The house number listed did not match the actual house number. Check in time was communicated to me as 4 pm. The paper inside the rental listed it as 2 pm
