Utterly charming apartment, utterly charming hosts in utterly charming Menton!A lovely stay in this spotless apartment. Great location, with wonderful views of the Alps one way and a long balcony with sea views the other. Quiet yet central with walking distance to everything needed.Very comfortable bed, great bathroom and kitchen. Such thoughtful touches such as kit for the beach provided and a lovely welcome bottle of delicious wine, coffee pods and teas etc.Hosts Catherine and Philippe could not have been more welcoming and explained lots of recommendations which were so useful.Very easy travel to and from airport and along the coast to Italy, Monaco and Nice and beyond by bus or train so a car not strictly needed. Menton itself is charming, elegant and friendly place bustling happily with local and tourist life. Lots to see and do and definitely one to return to!Thank you so much !

comfortable, well placed appartment

The appartment is in a good location with lovely views to front and back. It is situated within easy walking distance of train, buses, shops and other amenities. Flat had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. A very warm welcome from the owner who took time to give us a lot of useful information about Menton and surrounding area.

Menton stay

Lovely apartment, clean, very well equipped. Good file with information on local sights. Catherine was very knowledgeable and was able to advise us on things to see, walks to do and the local bus services. View of the sea and mountains as described. Would highly recommend. It is on the 3rd floor but there is a lift.

Excellent apartment with everything you might need for a comfortable holiday. The location and view were exactly as described, perhaps even better. The welcome from our host was friendly, helpful and very informative. The booking of a secure car parking space not far away was a bonus as we could leave the car safely tucked away and use the very good public transport.A further delight was the range of restaurants, bars and quality food shops within close proximity. Menton itself has lots to offer; magnificent gardens, beaches, shops and walks, and glorious late September weather. We are so pleased that we chose this apartment, it was a comfortable base for a great holiday.

Perfect!

What a great flat! Excellent location with a view of the sea and close to the Promenade de Soleil. Lovely walk along the promenade into old Menton. Flat was clean, comfortable and quiet. Great boulangerie next-door - and a Carrefour Express close by (but I preferred going to the old market). Catherine, the host, was excellent - very welcoming and happy to explain everything about Menton and the flat (and local restaurants). I would stay here again tomorrow! Menton is my happy place! Thank you, Catherine!

Lovely Menton Apartment

The photos on the site are very accurate. The views are charming--the sea on one side and the mountains on another. Very quiet, calm environment--good for working from home or just for vacation. The apartment has everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The location is great. It is walking distance to everything we needed--convenience stores, restaurants, the beach and the train station (to visit other nearby towns and to go to Italy for the day). It's also a lovely 15 minute walk along the sea to the historic district of Menton. A charming apartment in a charming town. Thank you, Catherine for your suggestions. We will be back.

On a déjà recommandé cet hébergement à nos amis.

A recommander.
