Waterfront vacation rental. Sleeps 4 adults. Kayaking, fishing, swimming and floating down the Susquehanna River. BBQ'S & campfires. 5 minutes from anemites. (groceries @ the BIG M, Dollar General, restaurants, schools, post office, free public boat launches, state park "Cole Park", Animal adventure(zoo), Frog Pond a large farmers market, Pine Ridge Amish groceries. A great place to enjoy the peace and serenity of nature. Exterior security cameras. no pets, no events, no parties. 2 WEEK MAX. RENTAL. A well lite covered patio to enjoy the sunshine, water and sunsets. Sipping coffee/tea at the table under the umbrella with a book enjoying the sounds of nature. Our area is known for the Spiedie Festival so do enjoy Lupos and Spiedie & Rib Pit restaurant.

The owners were very attentive and willing to answer any question we had with very quick responses. The owners gave many recommendations for food in the area when asked. The place fit our needs perfectly. Will rent this place again if in the area again.

The only problem we had was finding the turnoff for the road. It is not marked and very difficult to find in the dark, as it just looks like a driveway.

Another great stay

While it was a cold and damp memorial day weekend the home was nice and cozy. The house offers amazing views of the river and it was so relaxing. The property was extremely private which was exactly what we were looking for. We had a mishap while cooking at the house and Bob and Amy were very understanding that accidents sometimes happens.

A True Paradise

We stayed here and it was a true paradise, very quiet and very very pretty. The cottage is on a really nice bend in the river, you can sit on the front porch and just watch it go by. The place is newly updated, very clean and presentable. We would stay here again. Also, check out Animal Adventure Park 5 min away.

Unprofessional and the worst place

The experience was particularly noteworthy. The perceived lack of professionalism and hospitality will not be easily forgotten. Given the discrepancy in the reported number of guests at the residence, the morning communication was perceived as an act of harassment rather than an apology. It is important to note that the presence of guests does not equate to using facilities such as showers. The abrupt attempt to evict on the first day, without exploring potential resolutions, was disappointing. Additionally, the unauthorized entry into the property during the lease period was a breach of privacy. It is essential to recognize that the landlord's access rights are limited once a property is leased and occupied. The property's location in a remote area, identified as a mobile home rather than a traditional dwelling, was not aligned with personal preferences and expectations. It's crucial to note the distinction between mobile homes and conventional housing, as well as the unsuitability of the property due to its location and type. The mismatch between expectations and the actual property highlights the need for clear and accurate property descriptions and communication.

Excellent stay

This was our second time staying at waterfront properties. Great place right in front of the river away from the hustle and bustle. Very spacious for 2 people and well appointed. Very clean. Can’t wait to go back for our 3rd visit!

Lovely home with a beautiful river view. The location was so close to Animal Adventure Park, the reason for my visit. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely Getaway in a Rural Setting

This vacation home was super clean and comfortable (including furniture & beds). Very peaceful and cozy. Sitting on the covered deck enjoying the river view was relaxing. Unfortunately heavy rains prohibited us from doing much (fishing, campfires, etc.), but that's mother nature for ya! Everything is exactly as listed and well cared for. Host was super responsive with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this property for a quiet getaway on the river.

Nice Getaway to Recharge

My family stayed at this home for 2 days. The house and area were very clean. The home was well stocked with kitchenware, towels, and everything we possibly could need! The view of the river was very relaxing & we were able to explore the river rock area, giving our kids some outdoor fun. The owners were very nice and easy to connect with.

We had a great time at this house. Beautiful view. House was clean. We fished,did some swimming had bombfires it was great.. Swimming was hard cause there were a lot of slppery rocks. Great for kayaking or floating down the river. Peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Relaxing evening

Trip for granddaughter’s varsity Nationals competition.

This was our second stay with Amy and Bob. Nice place on the river. Beautiful view! Super clean with everything you’d need for our stay. Complimentary items from coffee to to body wash.
