Welcome to The Sunshine Cottage! This recently renovated 1940's bungalow preserves its charm with original hardwood floors, a farmhouse sink and antique furnishings. All seamlessly blended with the modern conveniences of central air and heating, walk-in tiled shower with rain head, Smart TV/Spectrum Cable, WiFi, dishwasher, washer and dryer and an outdoor gas fire pit. Located just a few short blocks from downtown where you'll discover exceptional restaurants, tasting rooms, fun bars, pubs and great shopping all framing the family friendly Paso Robles City Park. Or just across Spring Street is the Paso Market Walk, a beautiful contemporary building with a selection of enticing purveyors. These include a coffee roaster, authentic Neapolitan pizza, an award winning bakery, a boutique wine merchant with excellent vegetarian cuisine, local organic produce, a Michelin guide fine dining restaurant and more!
Enjoy the beach towns of Morro Bay or Cambria or spend the day wine tasting from over 300-plus wineries in the area. Then return to your cozy cottage furnished with two lush King beds wrapped in comfy luxury linens. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking utensils, including a coffee maker, coffee, tea and an outside propane barbecue.

We LOVE dogs so bring your fur babies! There is an $85 pet fee with a maximum of two pets. Your fur babies can freely roam the fully fenced in front and back yards.

This super cute and comfy cottage was the perfect place for our 3 day stay in Paso Robles. It is very clean with very comfortable King size beds and all of the amenities you will need. Attention to details are evident everywhere you look! A complimentary bottle of wine, mints, and even dog treats were waiting for us on the kitchen table:) The backyard space was perfect for our two mini schnauzers to roam around in as it was completely enclosed. Dawn, the host, was amazing! She provided us with a complimentary wine tasting at Creekcut Winery and made sure she gave us any information we needed about the town and road closures as the Pioneer Day parade was happening the day we were there. She was the most attentive and nicest host we have had in our many stays at homes on VRBO. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Resting Place

The home was as advertised. Although the center of town is in walking distance, we drove because my 90 year old aunt has mobility issues. (Walk if you can because locating parking can be time-consuming.)Personally, the best aspects of the house were windows and outlets everywhere! We used the AC once when we arrived, but kept the house cool the remainder of our stay by opening the windows. The cross-breeze was so refreshing and the chirping birds were a bonus. The house is well-equipped with everything we needed to enjoy meals. The beds were comfortable; my aunt had the best rest during our stay. The house is spacious and easy to navigate. It's thoughtfully decorated and has lovely, homey touches throughout. I would enjoy staying here during future visits.

Better than expected!

I had high hopes for this place based on the pictures and reviews, and my hopes were exceeded! We came in later than expected and found the cottage to be in perfect condition with such a welcoming feel. We were able to walk to so much, and then go back and relax in either the front or back yards. The kitchen was well stocked (including great wine glasses!!). Our pup didn't want to leave when it was time.

Charming cottage is an accurate description

The property was lovely. The location was truly excellent; donut and coffee shops half a block away and fine restaurants under half a mile. The kitchen was very well equipped- gourmet level, though Paso offers so many restaurant opportunities, our cooking was limited! It’s is a very welcoming little house!Dawn was a gracious host. We appreciated her well-curated book of suggested restaurants, wineries, and activities!

Good location

Our stay was fine. The house itself was clean and had enough room for our little family. There were a couple small things that naturally come with staying in an older home. The neighborhood is so-so but the location is great and just around the block is the paso market walk which has a ton of food and beverage options. There is an alley on the side of the house so we did hear noise at night time but that is just part of the location.

Family get away

Visited Paso with my husband, brother and sister in law. Stayed in this adorable cottage. Everything was as expected. It is small yet quaint. Super close walk to town. Would book here again.

Perfect Downtown Spot

The VRBO was clean and cozy. The beds were super comfortable and the house had cute styling. It was walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and the downtown area. Perfect for our girls trip!

Wine & Fun

I got to spend some time with one of my best friends from law school. We enjoyed downtown Paso and the Paso Wine Fest. The property was clean, large, perfect for cooking and drinking wine. I highly recommend this place.

Mother’s Day weekend Getaway

Cute little house close to Downtown. It was perfect for us. Brought our mother to Paso for the first time and this house was just perfect for our stay. Clean, quite and perfect location. We had a great time.

Location and property are great!

We walked to dinner each night. Great location for my work (computer, zooms and calls) during the mornings. We went to one winery each afternoon. Really great property with comfortable bedding.

Great place

We truly liked the place. It was cute not too small definitely had enough space for just the two of us and our dog would’ve been fine for a couple of the couples. We were close enough for us to walk downtown and to a couple other places we were able to get Ubers to, and from the wineries easily, also to Sensorio, it was probably one of the cutest VRBO‘s. I’ve ever stayed at the kitchen was fully stocked.

Charming Cottage!

Cute cottage with everything you need. Great location, short walk to the downtown square. Did not bring my dog this time but she would have been all set with the cottage's fenced in outdoor areas in the front and the back. The doggy bag container in the back was a nice touch! Very impressed with how Dawn responded to all inquiries almost immediately, very nicely allowed us to arrive early and the check in and check out process were a breeze.

Cute Home in Paso

The property was very much as advertised. My sister a friend and I stayed the weekend. Beds are comfortable, house is homey and quaint. Homeowner was very prompt in answering a question we had - and provided the solution. Would definitely stay again!
