Custom Waterfront Cabin with Private Boat Dock

Welcome to the Byrd's Nest!!

It is a fully updated cabin overlooking beautiful lake Eufaula! Enjoy great water views from large picture windows in living room as well as from two of the three bedrooms. Or walk out to the enormous deck and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine while taking in the views. Deer are frequently spotted from the deck. The home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a bunk/game room and a large kitchen featuring granite countertops and double wall oven. Enjoy a long soak in either of the two bathtubs. You can bring your boat and tie it up in the boat dock all weekend. The kids will love jumping off the dock and swimming. The home is conveniently located five minutes off of Highway 69 and Texanna Rd. Come relax and enjoy all that Lake Eufaula provides!!

The host was very communicative. The home was absolutely beautiful and having a private fishing dock was a big hit. The teens loved the room with the bunk beds and fooseball table and the other rooms were great for the adults.

The check-in process was extremely easy, the whole house was great as pictured. The kitchen was supplied with all the necessities and a few extras that we forgot. A very spacious home with plenty of room to meet our needs. I housed 7 active teenage boys for a retreat and this place was perfect.
Enjoyed fishing on the private dock out back.
Great outdoor space for meeting with group.
Spacious lounging area.
Absolutely breathtaking views from the dock at sunset.

We had a great stay! We brought 10 teenage boys and they loved the bunk room! I think one of their favorite surprises was the Xbox that they played every night when we were exhausted from the lake. The host was so quick to respond to all of our questions. Very clean house and large open area in the kitchen and living room to fit us all comfortably.

Great property

Booked the property as a team building weekend for an OKC nonprofit officer group. It was the perfect amount of space. The driveway is a little steep so if you’re coming in winter like we did, snow chains are a good idea for getting out of the driveway and back up the steep hill to the road. But that wouldn’t keep us from coming back. Owners were easy to work with and quick to respond to messages.

Lake visit

This was our first time at this lake. My wife and me went for a quick weekend get away. We really enjoyed how nice the house was and how easy the owner was to deal with. We look forward to coming back later this year with our teenage kids.

Spacious place

The bunk room allowed the younger people who stay up later to not bother the older folks on the other side of the house. We enjoyed our time and will hopefully return next year.

Great place

Dtayed with family members there. Very quiet and peaceful. Had trouble getting in the home when we first arrived and the owner responded quickly and was able to get us in.

Amazing Cabin!

Our family of 11 stayed a few nights and it was truly an amazing place to stay. The beds were so very comfortable, everything was there needed for cooking and we loved fishing in the dock! Highly recommend this cabin!!

Family Gathering Vacay

This was the perfect house for our Texas family to stay in. It was close enough for our Oklahoma to come visit us daily while we were there. This house has the perfect bunk room for all the kids and it’s plenty big for all the adults. The big back porch was a big plus. The host was very quick to get back to us with any questions we had. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Birds Nest

We enjoyed staying at the Byrd’s Nest! The listing was accurate in the description of the house. The house was big enough to accommodate all of my sisters, nieces, and nephews. The only thing I wasn’t absolutely in love with was the parking situation. The driveway is on a very steep gravel drive that can be difficult to drive up and down. The owner did send parking instructions and recommendations in a PDF prior to our trip. However, the gravel driveway is not mentioned on the listing and I do think that it is something that should be mentioned. If you have a small car, etc. it might be tricky to navigate. There is a paved barn area to park in that was helpful for my sisters with smaller vehicles. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and felt as though the house and amenities were accurately described.

Girls Trip

We were a group of six high school friends from the Choctaw High School. Class of 1966 and 1967. Yep! Just a bunch of “old” ladies acting like we are sixteen again. Had a wonderful time sitting on the cabin deck overlooking the lake and occasional wildlife. The walk to the fire pit and the boat dock on the lake is a little steep for seniors, but it is doable. Beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable. Bunk room beds are mostly suitable for the younger generation. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was perfect. Hope to make the trip to Eufaula again next year and stay in this lovely lake home.

We are both small business owners and reside in God's country, also known as western Oklahoma. While we absolutely love our home town, it is quite flat and there are not many trees. We decided to look for a vacation home around Eufaula to enjoy the trees, hills and beautiful scenery. Our kids are ages 14,12, and 9. They keep us busy at ballgames, musicals and church activities. We're thrilled to share our vacation home with you and hope you'll treat it like your own.
