Family Friendly

Great access to Carlos chain of lakes. Peaceful lake setting away from busy roads. Screened in porch assists greatly in keeping most mosquitoes and other bugs out. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and dining in. Things available for inside family time include variety of games, books and movies. Property manager was great to work with.

Our stay was very good. Really enjoyed the property. The only problem was with the shower. No water pressure and hard to control the temperature

sweet cabin

This cabin is even nicer than the photos. It’s decorated in fun cabin decor and had everything we needed. We would love to come and stay again next year!

Great time at Lake.

Spent the 4th at Lake Carlos with family. Has a great time. The cabin is very nice, loved the screened in porch.

Lake Carlos Gem

Very nice cabin on a beautiful lake. The cabin had every thing we needed. We prepared all our meals on this trip and the kitchen had all the tools, as well as spices, foil, coffee filters, ect. The LP grill on the deck was perfect. Much appreciated. The bathrooms were modern, clean and nicely designed. Plenty of towels, bedding and extra blankets. Overall this property was a 5 out of 5 stars. THANK YOU!

Lake access was disappointing

The house was great and fully stocked ( didn’t need to bring all that I did ) the disappointing thing was the dock area was full of reeds and water was disgusting not at all like picture if we had kids with us they would of never been able to swim or fish off the dock

needs makeover

The house was nice for an older home. Cleaning company should be better into detail, as we found an old sock and used tooth brush. The outside of home is in terrible condition. The shrub and weeds around the home are very overgrown. The lake is not really usable due to the heavy amount of lake weed. Shoreline is overgrown and littered with debris. Lake homes need constant attention, this has been neglected.

Okay stay for family vacation

Check-in and communication with property manager was good. The house itself could use a bit of work. The cupboard drawer pulled off on our first day, the couch arm rest came off, screen door coming apart, etc. We were able to fix it all. The house water was the worst part. It's very mineraly and no drinking water is available. The shower pressure would turn on/off, high/low, hot/cold....and not be consistent with every shower. There was a loud pump running anytime water was used. We asked if that was normal and never heard back about it. There was no regular coffee pot. Just a Keurig type but no pods to use. We ended up buying a coffee pot to use while we were there. The yard was really long for most of our weeks stay. This left it really wet in the mornings and buggy at night. Once it was mowed, it was so long that there were then clumps of grass everywhere and easily tracked into the house. It deterred us from playing yard games and having fires. There was also no WiFi that we were able to connect to. Lots of DVDs though! The lake is lovely, however it's very reedy by the dock and the kids were not able to swim in that space. They did enjoy fishing there, however. It's nice and close to many things and a marina just a few doors down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite a few things. We likely won't return to this property, but did really enjoy the area and appreciate the opportunity to be able to stay comfortable with our family of 7.

Very clean Well maintained

The area in by the dock is overgrown with reeds so we had to push our pontoon in and out or the prop would get plugged up The direct Tv is still not working But overall would recommend it A boat other than a pontoon would have a difficult time right now getting into the dock

Very nice

Overall it was a great place. Someone had tried cleaning the grill with a plastic pad. Tanks for grill that were there were empty. Fire pit was pretty close to the neighbors so we didn’t bother using it. The dock and beach area hasn’t had the pencil reeds removed so getting boat on or swimming wasn’t really an option. No cable or Wi-Fi. But it was clean, no real problems, at a great location. Plus kitchen had plenty of items. We absolutely loved the screened in porch.

Great week at the lake!

The home was clean and well organized. The kitchen was equipped for your vacation cooking needs. We had everything we needed whether it was grilling or a breakfast before we would hit the lake for the day! Enjoyed a campfire and playing cornhole in the evenings. Home is located in a nice quiet area. Management was quick to respond to questions. We hope to head back next year!

Great cabin

The cabin was great for our group to sleep in, rest, and eat our meals. We were visiting family on lake Miltona so we didn't use the beach here to swim as we went each day to grandparents cabin. (Here there is no sandy beach, just rock edge, dock, and reeds).
