Location is everything with this charming 2 bedroom, one bathroom lake house that sleeps 6. This charming house features a King bedroom and a second bedroom with a Queen bed and a Full bed. There is a spacious living room, eat-in kitchen, laundry room, a newly renovated bathroom with a tub/shower surround, and efficient mini-split AC/Heat. The house has a fenced in backyard (great for Fido and the kids) with a patio set, charcoal grill, fire pit, and hammock and is on the county road going to our shared swimming/fishing dock (truck/SUV or walk). Access to Volleyball, basketball, playground, tons of outdoor games a pavilion and a fabulous lake view right next door!
This house is on the side of an 8-cabin resort property, so it's a great place to gather when you have multiple families staying. Plenty of boat parking, outdoor electric. Located 1/4 mile to 101 Grocery and Bait and 101 Marina for boat rentals/slip rentals/launch; a block from Bidwell Point Park Swim Beach/campground/launch, 2 miles to Panther Bay Marina/Park/Swim Beach/David's Trail head for hiking; 3 miles to Fred's Fish House, 7 miles to Mountain Home, AR for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Many other unique Ozark Mountain experiences and "day trips" within 10-60 miles (National Trout Hatchery, Trout Capitol, many river float trips, State Parks, etc.). Come enjoy Norfork Lake living!

Great experience!

Cabin is very clean, homey, and well maintained. The A/C kept all the rooms cool on the 85 degree day. My dogs enjoyed the large, fully fenced backyard. The beauty of the lake and surrounding area cannot be overstated.

Such a cute cozy cabin. Had everything we needed already stocked so we just had to bring food and drinks. Very clean and had a nice big fenced in yard for my dogs that they allowed. The only negative i have about it is i wish it was way closer to the lake or had a lake view but it was no big deal for my family because we left during the day anyways and rented a pontoon boat nearby.

cutest little place

The lake house is so cute. It's kept clean and stocked. With the bad weather the owners were very concerned and brought over salt for the steps. They kept in contact with me throughout the entire stay. They really are the nicest people. Would recommend this stay for any family or lake lover trip!!!

Really great

This house was perfect for my sister and I. The beds were very comfortable! Having the luxury of a fenced in yard for the 2 dogs just made things so easy. We would stay there again (except i bought a house while I was there).

Overall property was nice. Clean house, comfy beds and the fenced in back yard is awesome. Mostly upset that from the listing I thought the swim dock was right outside our cabin but it's not. It's not a long walk but it's down a rocky road that I definitely don't recommend driving. We have a toddler and I didn't even attempt the walk down with him, it would be too much and then the trek up after swimming. The a/c units they have did a good job keeping the house pretty cool, along with some fans going. The area is nice too and about 10-15 minutes from town with plenty of places to eat!

Dock is not in the backyard

Looking at the photos online of the house it makes you think that the dock is in the backyard. The walk was down a gravel road down hill and the walk back up was terrible. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was just an inconvenience to walk back and forth to go to the dock.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful little house. Extremely clean and comfortable. Not exactly on the lake yet we took a short walk to the dock and discovered a private cove that was breathtaking. We enjoyed our time there and will be returning. 😁

Get a forest, lake and mountain surrounding all in one home, with a great deal of privacy but also access to many things to do if you choose! Whatever the reason you may be traveling to the area, we assure you you will leave here feeling rejuvinated!
