Cute, but a few things...

The cabin itself was cute, but I did find a few things that I had issues with. For starters, as soon as we walked into the cabin, it smelled like wet, dirty towels. Like, whatever they used to clean the cabin was used multiple times beforehand without being washed. After a while we got used to the smell... Secondly, there were a few options for coffee, but no sugar? My husband and I go to a different cabin every year to celebrate our anniversary and between then, we go with our children to bigger cabins. Every cabin weve ever been to may not supply all the condiments for cooking, but they do supply sugar for coffee. At least the individually wrapped ones. I had to drive 30 minutes to the store to buy sugar because I thought that would've, at the very least, been included with the stay. Lastly, it was nice to have a hot tub outside but it's very small and shallow! Wish it was at least a foot deeper because I could stand up in it and it would come to my knees and I'm only 5'5". Also, the picture on the website shows the back of the cabin to be pretty remote, however, there's a cabin behind it. The back of our cabin faced the front of another one. Just wish it was a little more private.

Beautiful and clean. Stocked with everything you need. Clean and quiet. I had a great time and it was a wonderful stay. I would stay here again.

Amazing get away! Will do it again!! Definitely a new vacation spot!!

Overall, it was an amazing get away with fixable minor inconveniences. It was a beautiful, clean, and well taken care of cabin. It made us feel as if we were the 1st couple to rent out the cabin. Amazing view from the back porch/balcony over looking the woods. Relaxing, quiet, and peaceful!!! For the minor inconveniences: sloped parking, careful not to park there unless you have 4 wheel drive and especially after it rains. We have 2 wheel drive and got stuck the 1st night upon arrival at 11pm. Luckily the neighbors helped push us out the next morning. The next morning we explored the town and the BEAUTIFUL LAKE!! WE ARE LOCALLY AND FISHED!! Then we drove to Broken Bow to the Casino🤑 !! ALL 👍! Getting back,The grill was clean, propane tank was full, hottub was hot, so I was able to grill up some amazing steaks, relax with a drink with my girlfriend and enjoy the quiet, peaceful nature!!! The negative of that night, we wanted to build a fire in the firepit, but there was no lighter and no lighter fluid. So the attempt was fire from grill and carry down to the pit. It didnt work lol but didnt ruin the night. Again all minor but fixable inconveniences. Would i do it again? Definitely!!!!! With that said, I would love to experience other cabins on the property! Not bc of the minor issues, but to experience the other locations within the property. Again this property was AMAZING!! WELL TAKEN CARE OF!! LOVED IT! WILL DO IT AGAIN! GREAT PROPERTY, GREAT LOCATION! GREAT MANAGEMENT!

Cabin getaway!

Hillside Delight is a beautiful cabin. Trees are amazing, nice hot tub, and very well stocked for travel needs. Check in was smooth and found everything clean and presentable. Will return! Super fun getaway cabin for two.
