Great house with cleanliness in need of improvement
We were guests in Kelvenec for two weeks. Positive first: The house is lovingly furnished, there is nothing missing to spend a longer vacation there and for the most part the house is as stated in the description. The house is located in a very clean and nice looking neighborhood of De Panne. So far so good
However, there were garbage bags in the garden (from previous guests?) which we had to dispose of at our own expense. Unfortunately, we were only informed after arrival that the water tap in the kitchen was not working - we had already found this out. During the entire two weeks there was supposedly no plumber available to repair the tap. Most of the crockery and cutlery was accordingly dirty and had to be cleaned first. We also had to clean the dishwasher and washing machine before they could be used properly. The washbasins and mirrors in the bedrooms were uncleaned, although a cleaner was supposed to come once a week. And one day before departure, we were informed that the cleaner was not available for the final cleaning and that we should vacuum the entire house.
