Welcome to our unique vacation experience with mountain views close to White-face ski resort nestled in the wilderness of Adirondacks. This is a brand new listing. A luxury cabin with hickory furnishing and amazing indoors on 8.5 acres with amazing amenities. Surrounded by High Peaks of North East, Au-sable River and endless lakes located in the middle of Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Get close to nature with a trail starting within the property. Extremely private and tranquil. BBQ & wet bar.

- One bedroom with King Hickory bed with sliding doors overlooking the mountains over the deck.
- In suite bath with Jacuzzi and standing shower
- Living room with gas fireplace
- Dining area for 8-9
- Sofa bed
- Large kitchen with everything you need to cook a thanksgiving meal.
- Enclosed porch with outdoor dining and swing bed.

- guests over 8 each will be $25 per night. One security camera on site facing the driveway for guest's safety.

Nice secluded getaway but close enough for winter fun

My family and I loved our stay. We just wished we had a longer time. Easy drive to Whiteface and Lake Placid but away from the craziness of it all.

Away from it all, but close to White Face

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cabin. The home is nicely appointed and the hot tub was a welcome luxury after a day on the slopes!

"Better in summer"

Our stay was ok. Would we rent it again? NO! The driveway was not plowed, a cupboard door fell off, it was difficult to cook some items. There were no chemicals for the hot tub. With the electric heat, a humidifier would have been essential. It was certainly out in the country more so than what we expected. There were ample towels and the beds were comfortable. This place would definitely be better in the summer or fall. It was not great in the winter.

A Nice Fall Weekend!

Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The house was just as pictured. It had a nice view from the living and dining room. The kids loved the game room. The owner responded to our message quickly when we had a small issue. The Cabin was only 20 minutes from Marcy Field, and it was easy for our hikers to catch the shuttle to Big Slide or other trails. The Forty Six restaurant is not far either and has some great food. It is not too far from Lake Placid or Whiteface either.

Secluded location, private and relaxing

A great place to unwind and relax. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. It was just what we needed! Some great hiking trails nearby, as well as Santa's Workshop which was great for the kids. Also there is a picturesque covered bridge park only minutes away. Also got enjoy some quality family time in the large game room. Hot tub was divine during the cold nights! Would return!

Awesome

I can only say this cabin is awesome. When we walked in the front door we all said "wow". It is just beautiful. The cabin has everything you need. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The game cabin was a god-send since one of the days we stayed, it rained. We spent a lot of time in there. The outside enclosed porch was very relaxing. I spent every morning reading the news and drinking my coffee in there waiting for everyone to wake up. There were plenty of movies and games for our after dinner movie nights. I highly recommend this cabin.

Spacious, Great Location, Needs Maintenance and Cleaning

Two families of four stayed in the house for a week in July. It was spacious and comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed using the hot tub and grill. We were a little disappointed in the quality and cleanliness. It seemed like the house hadn't been used in months. The dishes had to be washed before using, the sliding doors to the main bedroom were off the track and the frames were broken, the detached game room was unusable because it smelled terrible. But the owners were very responsive when we ran out of toilet paper, dish liquid, and propane for the grill and it's a beautiful, quiet location.

Quiet cottage in the woods; near lake placid!

Great overall stay; quite cozy and rustic. Comfy beds and enough linen and dishware/cutlery for our party of 10. Hot tub was used every day along with beautiful fire pit. Interior of the listing is as described and pictured. Hosts were responsive and helpful. No issues with our stay. It was super close for us to participation in Ironman Lake Placid! Would recommend and would stay again.

Eclipse getaway

We had a great time at KK and Srini's place. We were looking for a place in the line of totality to view the eclipse and this place did not dissapoint! It was perfect for what we needed and the game room kept the kids busy for quite a while. The hosts were very responsive when one of the kitchen cabinet doors came off with the hinge, and sent the caretaker the next day to fix it. The place is only 20 minutes from Whiteface, so we were able to take advantage of some spring skiing as well. Would definitely book again!

AMAZING CABIN

If I could give this 6 stars I would. The host was very responsive and the property was well equipped and very relaxing for a weekend getaway with some friends! Definitely recommend this property on the out skirts of lake placid and will probably book this again for a future weekend getaway

Great location, enjoyable stay.

Beautiful cabin with breathtaking windows that allowed the outdors in. Great deck. Comfortable beds and bedding. Probably the most well-stocked rental we have stayed in thus far, which was a pleasant surprise. Ample towels. Enjoyed the trails behind the cabin. Hot tub warmed up with no issues and was enjoyable. There were some downfalls that need tending to such a good spring cleaning. The floors needed a good sweeping and vacuuming. When we went to do it ourselves, the dust pan was cracked and the vacuum belt is broken because the vacuum was not sucking anything up after making sure the hose option was not selected. There were empty cans out by firepit and one under our bed as well. There are repairs that should be made in the cabin in order to preserve it's beauty and appeal. Hot tub was very high in chlorine that it turned the white in our swimsuits to yellow. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time.

There were a few things sheets downstairs had dog hair on them had to be washed. The TV was not working because of direct TV. The shower faucet downstairs was broken but usable with some finagling. Care taker was great helped when we needed salt because it was icy. Location isolated and quiet in the woods, which we like.

Secluded and private

It was decently clean upon arrival but the real star of the show is the location and the atmosphere. It is private and secluded, with decent internet connection. The hot tub is a bit of a hassle as it takes so long to get warm. It could have been a bit cleaner before arrival and the beds were pretty uncomfortable, but that didn't affect our stay much. The game room was a blast and it had a nice rustic cabin in the woods feel.

Great family weekend!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and the hot tub was clean. We cooked on the BBQ and the kitchen is well equiped. Our only negative comment concerns the cleanliness of the house. We also noticed that some games need to be repaired in the game room.The hosts responded quickly and kindly.

Lacrosse tournament

Wonderful property. Very peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen is pretty well stocked. The game room is excellent kept out teens off their phones and laughing their heads off.

Pleasant relaxing stay

We (my adult children and I) were in the region to watch my son compete in the Lake Placid Ironman. After the Ironman we stay for the week and thorough enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described on the website. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots to do if you are an outdoor enthusiast. The people in Jay are very friendly and willing to help with any question or ideas for activities.
